I've been with Bank of America for 40 years and just had the most disturbing experience at this…read morebranch. I went into make a deposit, a transaction that should have taken 1 minute. I was second in line and was taken by an associate into his office to serve me more quickly. He proceeded to look at my financial accounts, including my brokerage accounts, and upsell me for 10-15 minutes, delaying the deposit so he could offer me products and services. It's is the slimiest financial transaction I've experienced ever, and this is a bank I've given 40 years of loyalty to. And when it was finally time to make the deposit, he walked me up to the cash machine in the lobby. I spoke to the manager. It's clear he knows about the manipulation going on here. Then he gave me information about cashing a check that I know was incaccurate. Please avoid this branch at all costs.

The money is in the bank. There should be no need to hold it, especially when I have things to do and things to buy.
