Now onto my issues…read more I started banking here as an adult since when I lived here as a teen, it was the bank I used. The one thing that absolutely enrages me, is that there is always some loophole as to why these banks can charge you $33-$99 in overdraft fees EVEN THOUGH the reason the account was overdrawn was due to the current balance displaying the incorrect/ not updated amount. Transactions on their debit card will pend for days. Any kind of membership, subscription, or payment plan will come off the card even if you don't have the funds. I've been put almost -$200 by this bank when bills came out, I had the money but they didn't approve the transactions within 48 hours and I spent my current balance on food to then be notified that money was supposed to go to pending transactions. My other debit card does not do this. It updates on the same day and my current balance always takes into account the pending transactions. First National DOES NOT.

Every time I do, there is a short line that moves quickly. The customer service is always great, they are always able to fulfill every request! I often call in advance, to make sure I can get what I need, and it is easy to get a hold of a representative over the phone as well. The inside of this location is nice and quiet, and professional. There are bathrooms, which are kept clean. Overall, I've had a great experience banking here, and have you even found the best rate for my mortgage a few years ago! Highly recommend banking with NFCU.

They offer zero communicatiob with the depositors. They just set their rules and enforce them. Any problem with their rules and they print off a paper that restates the rules they use. So they dont have any customer service skills either. After their tech upgrade, my new bank cards didnt work. I had to order new ones. My online banking had to be fixed as well. My business has large transactions which they cannot accomadate. Even with time and history, their company policy seems that they believe all depositors are probably scamming them. In the end, I was a depositor for a little over 2 years and had problems of some sort with nearly every transaction save for routine withdrawls and deposits. Anything more complex was the beginning of a nightmare. Fairly imcompetent..

The final voice said they were sorry but everyone was helping someone and call back later or call this 800 number which was said too fast to memorize. I had a simple question that someone at the branch could have answered. Instead I got the recorded voice runaround. Now I will have to drive there to get a person to answer my question. We walked in and were immediately greeted by Scott, a Relationship Banker, who presented several options to us. One of those options was more advantageous than the CD that I had anticipated opening. Scott was very helpful and efficient as he set up the new account and upgraded our existing checking account. Alli, the teller who took the deposit check, was also friendly and efficient. We were asked to make an appointment to open our account - that kind of puzzled me but I now know that's part of the bank's personal attention. Jordan explained that ensured we would have a relaxed opportunity to get to learn about each other without interruption. I was expecting to spend about ten minutes to open an account - it was closer to an hour but we were in NO rush to leave! It was just an amazing introduction to a local bank and personal attention neither of us have seen in a long, long time. Beautiful offices and a very welcoming lobby with refreshments while there. We started an account just to have someplace in Omaha to turn in our change, but I expect we're going to be shifting more and more of our banking needs to Access. Already recommending it to family to come here!

Worst bank ever. Horrible policies…read more Strike one I was signed up for paperless statements, but they kept sending me paper statements, when I inquired about why they said there was some problem with them Emailing me, however my email address is perfectly working fine. So I couldn't stop the paper statements from coming. Strike two - when I didn't use my credit card with them for a few months they lowered my credit limit from $8000-$500 making it completely unusable. I'm glad I just took the sign up bonus and didn't use the card much and have now closed my account with them. Doesn't sound like they know how to do business.
