    I went into cellcom Saturday am the 24th. There is a girl dark hair glasses I guess I was talking…read moreto loud , she came over told me I needed to lower my voice. First off I can't hear well in my left ear so yes I had a tendency to take louder. She was rude about it. Then I was finishing up with the nice girl helping me. I was getting ready to go I wanted to quick show her something and still was asking some ?. This terrible clerk comes over tells me there are 2 ppl waiting to be waited on so basically saying get out of here. I looked at here like ok and left . I was very upset leaving it bothered me . Like a was a burden. I felt like she doesn't care for me . She attacked me 2. I never ever had anyone treat me like that there. I been going over 20 years years. I totally really not happy with cellcom. So if you have a ear you can't hear out and you talk loud don't worry she let you know. If any customers are waiting she will let you know so you can leave. I worked in customer service my whole life I would never treat someone that way. Funny she had no customers by her but she was worried about the 2 . As a former Mgr of a place your suppose to talk to customers for a bit . I seen lots of ppl talk for a bit is she going to kick them out too. I felt like I had a target on my back with her. I might leave cellcom if that's the way this girl is going to treat me . Sad considering I been then over 20 years .but if you don't mind being treating like crap from this clerk go ahead.

    After decades with Spectrum and extortionary costs, along with dismal in town (Appleton) speeds…read more(contrary to what they advertise), we finally switched to TDS. Our monthly cost have gone from $250/ month to $50 a month which is guaranteed for 2 years. We still get all the streaming services as before (using Roku stick for both services.) Best of all our internet speed has gone from 60-75 Mbs to 500 Mbs upload as tested with a speed tester. What's really unbelievable is that we waited so long to do this. And having to going in to the Spectrum store in Appleton (which is mandatory to discontinue the service) we did not complain and were friendly, being happy to be rid of this costly and terrible internet speed service. The agent on the other hand looked like he was a ticking time bomb ready to explode at any second. Even though it was a terrible visit experience, we were just as happy coming out of the store as going in, being relieved at having made this switch.

It's no wonder that for the first quarter of 2026 subscriber cancellations doubled from 60,000 in the same quarter of 2025 to 120,000 this year!! Stock of parent company Charter Communications took a 25% devaluation at the end of this past April!! We were loyal for decades but kept losing channels to higher cost upgrade packages and got tired of always being "put on the elevator" with ridiculous price hikes. They "stick it" to loyal customers to offset deals for new subscribers and to counter losses from customers who have walked away in frustration and disgust. When we walked in to cancel our account, the only question asked was whether we had already gone with another provider. There was only total indifference and no concern to inquire about what brought us to this point. Pretty sorry customer care!!

    The actual service is great, once you get your dis mounted. Providing DCB a place to put there…read moredish was left up to me since I did have a clear path to their tower by mounting it on a tree. I mounted a pipe on a big rock on the shore, which I hope survives the ice. I was not told they had a lift that they brought to my neighbors and went way up in a tree and mounted theirs. This would have been a better option for us. This is our only complaint. Service is great. Ability to put in winter mode is great. Best we switch out Verison phones to internet mode and dropped a land line.

When you call to report a problem the only thing their useless people do is say to restart your router. Last week we called technical support and was told there was no problem on there end and we need a new router. 4 days later they send out a notice that they have been experiencing major outage problems for over 4 days, yet the jerks at tech support we're not aware of it! If you call with a problem, they tell you they will expedite it, and then it takes 3-5 days before they call back! They don't care that people need the internet to do their jobs. The only reason they are still in business is because there are no other options! Their value is crap because we pay for crappy service that is ALWAYS going out!
