I happened to find Tashea from an Internet search because I am fairly new to the Woodbridge, VA, area. From one look at her photo, I could tell Tashea is warm, helpful, comforting, sharp, smart and friendly. I was right. From the first time I spoke with her via telephone, being in search of our first home to purchase, Tashea immediately put me at ease. She said to me, "no worries, I'll take care of you," and with her as an agent, it really was that easy.
Tashea far exceeded my hopes and expectations as being a highly skilled, professional, experienced, patient, kind, considerate, tenacious, detailed and thorough real estate agent. She is also infectiously upbeat, positive and encouraging. I am very meticulous and finicky, so my glowing review of Tashea is not something I share without very high standards for her to have met.
She went way above and beyond what was actually necessary to seal our deal, and she never once made me feel like I was bothersome or annoying (and I can be both at times). I knew nothing about the home buying process but she patiently walked me through every step with expertise, precision and knowledge. Tashea is also very wise, organized, honest, trustworthy, giving, caring and thoughtful.
Tashea often updated the search criteria of the automatic daily e-mails she had sent out to us on new listings to view, without our needing to ask. And she stopped them once we went under contract. These are just some examples of the minute attention to detail she has.
Although I know she is very busy, she always made me feel like I was her only client, even taking my calls during what I am certain were not the most opportune times. If she could not answer my phone call, for example, she would immediately text me to let me know she would call me back as soon as she finished her current call. Tashea never rushed me off the phone or made me feel like I was disturbing her, when we did talk. She was always accessible, be it via e-mail, phone or text.
Tashea joyfully showed my husband and me houses in Woodbridge and surrounding areas. I could tell she was genuinely excited for us. She was even willing to sacrifice personal plans to ensure she was there every step of the way to negotiate for and protect us. She is no push over in dealing with sellers' agents either. Tashea is creative, thinks outside the box, and was not afraid to talk sense into me when I went off the rails. I like that she is super sweet but respectfully tough, even to me, when necessary.
I can tell Tashea really loves what she does and it's not about commission. I know from dealing with her that, to her, it's much more about taking care of her clients. We ended up having a long, drawn out process over many months.
However, Tashea never rushed us to make a decision but she did stay on me about signing paperwork in a timely fashion, and no detail escaped her. When Tashea says she is going to do something, she indeed does it. I never had to remind her of anything, she was the one who reminded me. Tashea is a very skilled and thorough communicator.
She did not just hold my hand through the process, in some instances I feel like she carried me. Tashea took her time with me, answering and explaining every little detailed question I had about the contracts, contingencies and agreements. She made everything as easy as possible, and I had a lot fun working with her. Tashea even directed me to the right sources for things outside of her scope of duties like mortgage, title, home warranty and homeowners insurance questions.
I honestly do not have the proper words to express how awesome and truly amazing this lady really is. She is nothing short of a great blessing to us. I felt safe with Tashea, which is saying a lot. She did not let anyone take advantage of us. And, aside from everything else, Tashea has a very sweet personality, a calming voice and a smile that lights up any room. She is an absolute joy to know.
I sincerely mean every word of this review, and I highly recommend her to everyone. And when our son is ready to purchase his first home, we will definitely be calling her to take care of him!
I could go on and on about Tashea McDade, which is a rarity because I have not felt inclined to write many reviews for other professionals or businesses. I just don't know how I can possibly thank her for everything she has done. We are extremely happy with the deal she negotiated for us, and I have no regrets in our purchase because of TASHEA MCDADE. She started out as our agent but now, and forever, I call her "Friend."
