This was supposed to be a little five minute trip to mail a package but it took about 30 minutes and I was the second person in line. When I got there there was no employee there and some packages and after a few minutes the girl ahead of me said the lady wasn't even helping her. Another employee came by and said the lady you would be back soon and left. So I just patiently waiting my turn to but I guess were complicated orders? Play that help me was was friendly and patient enough, not hurry because I think that's how you make mistakes. If I was in charge, things will be different. Ha!

On two occasions within 3 months I have had very slow - like 3 weeks to a month - delivery to people living in the same zip code as the post office. In both cases these contained checks for services such as yard work. In both cases I dropped off the letters in the mail slot INSIDE the building. In both cases I had to hand deliver new checks to the individuals as they needed to be paid. Also we frequently get mis delivered mail at our house. I do not feel I can rely on USPS anymore.

It also seems as if there are regulars they see often as one employee was having a personal convo with one of the customers, which is super nice to see in these spaces. But the day my Husband and I go in to buy stamps the American worker was being racist. Yes we are Latinos, but we aren't here to discuss are race to you workers! We are here to buy stuff! He gave us Stamps in Spanish when I was looking for puppies or any pet stamps like really!! And let's not leave out details, the Hispanic worker there was rude to the African American guy just for not having the zip code ready.

There used to be one or two for short term drop offs. Today, I was picking up stamps and after about 3 minutes the younger man in a blue sweater started yelling at me to leave as I had parked in a USPS spot. I asked where customers are to park now? The older, kinder gentleman said customers are to park in the ramp down the street. I was about to pay for my stamps when the younger man, ranted at me to leave and NOT buy anything from them. Then he was outside watching me get into my car-in an empty lot-without my purchases. I will never go back to this place. No one deserves to be yelled at or told they can't buy your product. It seems that the man's job was to patrol an empty parking lot from the rule breakers who simply want stamps. I suggest bringing back the 2 spots you used to have. It's a short parking stay for a post office visit.

If anyone knows a well staffed, quick-serviced USPS, please let me know!! With that being said.. this post office is on the smaller end.. Usually only one customer service worker up front. Sometimes two... Let me tell you..the lines can get quite long. Since this location is somewhat small, they also have a smaller selection of post office supplies than other ones I've been to. The selection of flat rate boxes, priority boxes etc...are pretty bare. Tip: you can order USPS shipping supplies online at no cost. It does take almost 10 days to get to you, but you can order a bunch of stuff that you can't find in store. Also, if you ship priority, make sure to use their tape. Don't waste your money on tape. If you go at less busy times, this place can be wonderful, but..if you run into issues..be ready to WAIT! I've waited 45+ minutes here before... Especially when you run into people who's getting their passport. If you live near the U campus, it might be a better option to go to the one in Coffman. That one is better staffed, but not a lot of shipping supplies.. probably less than this one here. With that said, USPS usually delivers the cheapest shipping...so the wait is usually worth it. So if you got time..come here.
