It is daily doing the work to uphold that belief. Here are my highlights, condensed into a list so I don't ramble and end up crying. 1. Free, easy to find and access parking!!! You park your car in this little parking garage and then are a hop, skip, and jump away from the Post Office itself. 2. This building could be a museum. Have you ever seen a post office with a DIRECTORY!? 3. The worker was SO KIND TO ME and got me my book of American flag stamps with such joy. At the end of our transaction he handed them to me and said, here you go happy lady. Which melted my heart. 4. Standing height counters to write on!!! I was able to get my letters out of my bag and address and stamp them in-house, and send them off with confidence into the mail slot. 5. One more time, have you ever seen a more beautiful post office!?! I am about to move to Minneapolis just to go here every chance I get.

The staff are pleasant and 2 of them I see every time i visit and look forward to seeing them. Everyone seems knowledgeable about the job, like they've been employed with the post office for some time and know the drill. I feel like they've been exposed to it all and nothing can shake them up. She has been working at this location for several months, and is incredibly sloooow and inefficient at her job. She appears disheveled and confused most of the time. A couple of times she did not give me correct change, it wasn't small change either, at least $20 bucks! Good thing I was paying attention, or I would have lost that $20! One of my colleagues stopped by here during lunch hour to drop off a package -and what was supposed to easily have been a 5-15 minute errand turned into over an hour wait because that same usps lady was sooooooo slooooooooow in helping the one or two customers ahead of my colleague. The location is small but does the job. There's room enough for one employee at the desk at a time and if there had been a line, I can imagine the wait being a little long. I had been putting off sending the package because I didn't have tape, so I went in and asked if they had tape I could use. There's a certain kind of tape they'll let you use for free if you send your package priority and if you don't send priority they have a bunch of packing supplies you can purchase. Not only did I not have tape, but I also hadn't written an address on the package. No problem, he had an address sticker and pen for me. So great. I've never been so unorganized at a postal service counter, but he was very patient with me. I wish I remembered his name, but the man who helped me was SO helpful and kind. On my receipt it says he's Clerk 15. Not once did I feel like I was an inconvenience, and it took maybe 5 minutes. Thanks again Clerk 15!
