This is tragically the most poorly staffed post office I've ever seen. They let one poor lady service an endless line of patrons and the manager does not step up and help. Expect to wait 45 mins to simply ship a package. Every single time I've been here in the last 3 years it's been the same experience. This post office seems hidden. There was very little to no parking nearby, which made it difficult to get in. I arrived right when it opened and there was already a line of three people ahead of me with just one person working the counter. They were courteous and kind and seemed like they were trying their best to keep things moving. I do appreciate their service. read more

I visited Saturday, September 5, 2020. At this time there is a state-wide mandate to mask when inside a public building. However, during my visit the clerk was wearing her mask under her chin the entire time I waited in line. When it was my turn I asked her to please put it on before I got to the counter. At first she refused, so I asked nicely again. She then said it didn't matter. I asked nicely again for her to put it on then huffed as she put it on. I was helped and had to step aside to fill out some information before completing the transaction. I did and then had to get back in line before completing the transaction, even though others who had to do the same thing were assisted next without having to wait in line again. I felt punished for asking her to wear her mask. There is a survey to fill out after service and I made sure to let them know about it. read more

USPS attempted delivery at my house, i wasn't quick enough to get to the door so they left a slip. On the slip it says I can go to my post office and lists the hours. THE HOURS ARE NOT LISTED PROPERLY. They say M-F 6:30-5:30 but they close down at 5:00. Just fix your paper so people don't show up at 5:05pm expecting you to be open. I don't like writing negative reviews, but my experience was so bad and I ended up wasting 30 mins of my time for literally nothing so heres 5 mins on the house for a review. read more

This place is so understaffed. As soon as they open they have a line out the door, and only one person at the counter. Alex has a good heart and was trying his best but he needs to be more prompt and not talk politics with people while there's a long line. In addition to telling the person he was helping that he was gonna get spit at by the people waiting in line when we get to the counter. Not very professional. Another staff member came to the counter and stood there playing on her phone not helping people. Alex called her Mike, so that must be her name. She didn't acknowledge anyone. I would avoid this post office but it's only 1 min away from me so it seems silly to go somewhere else. I just hope they are able to hire more people. read more

This post office is horrible. They have inconsistent payment requirements- one day I can use a credit card, the next I have to show ID and have "show ID" written on my credit card. Really?? I paid with a credit card with no signature in the end and Brian the supervisor didn't say anything. This being all tough on a supposed policy one day and the next day not makes me feel like they're on a power trip. Not a good experience when you're just trying to complete errands. read more

There is always a line out the door, only ever one person working. This place is miserable. The staff isn't pleasant. They forced to me put a mailbox at the end of my driveway because my dog barked from inside the house at the mail person. Place is a absolute joke. If I could give this location a half star, that would be too generous. The carrier that delivers to my home stopped delivery of my mail because he did not like the placement of a shepherds hook on my lawn. The guy said it made it hard for him to walk across my lawn while reading the addresses on the mail he was delivering. Did you get that? He can't walk and read for fear of walking into the decoration. So I need to move it. Never mind I have a sidewalk which leads to my mailbox which is unobstructed. Never mind, the shepherds hook has been in that exact spot since the Spring. Never mind this mail carrier has walked past it each day he delivers without complaint. No. He wants me to change my decorative layout for his own convenience. And when you call the branch manager to complain, he says he will help solve the problem, but then does not follow through with you and I still don't have mail service. What is wrong at this location? Not sure but you may want to save yourself some time by going to Edina are Bloomington if you need good service. This location is clueless. I have had good experiences here. They responded well when we had some trouble with our mail delivery and I've always had a good experience when I go into the office. The line is always a bit long, but that strikes me as a funding issue, not the fault of the employees! If we want the service, we have to be willing to pay for it - call your representatives and let them know it's worth funding if you want shorter lines! read more
