I received a note in my mailbox that they were holding a package at that location because it was a signature confirmation and they tried to deliver it while I was at work. Something along those lines. I called USPS and told them I'd like to just pick it up at the post office. I showed up at the post office at 4PM (It closed at 5PM at the time, but you never know with this location). I waited in a line for over 30 minutes before I got to the counter with my ticket. Now the real insanity begins. I stood at the counter for an additional 30 minutes while they searched for my package. After 30 minutes, it was closing time, so they told me to wait in a side room with a few other customers who had been waiting while they try to find their packages. They closed all the shutters and turned the lights out, so it's just me and 2 strangers in a tiny side room now. Think roughly the size of a cubicle. After an ADDITIONAL 20 minutes (Now 5:20PM), the other 2 people left. They just walked out. As I'm sitting there, I heard the employees in the back yelling and laughing. At 5:45, I knocked on the door to the back because at this point, I had assumed they forgot about me. A guy just burst into the doorway. He seriously would have leveled me if I'd been standing in the path of the opening door. He asked me, "What do you want?" Not, "Can I help you?" or anything. I calmly - I'm serious, I was still calm - said they were supposed to be finding my package. He slammed the door and started yelling at people that, "Some guy is waiting for a package." After ANOTHER 15 minutes of yelling and laughing from the back, someone finally came out with the package. They handed it to me without a word and slammed the door in my face. I walked out at 6:05PM. That was the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. I was treated like an annoyance and an idiot. They showed me zero respect despite my continued patience. I never got an attitude with anyone or appeared unruly. The employees acted lazy and uncaring. Of the 4 employees I had direct contact with that day, not a single one smiled, showed me any respect, apologized, or remotely acted like they cared whether I was helped or not. I would give negative stars if I could.

Boxes for rent. Most of the personnel are pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately it lacks the thing that would make it most convenient for users- one of the machines that allows customers to weigh and mail letters and small packages &buy stamps when the post office personnel are off duty or when there is a line of people there for other things -like picking up mail and mailing large packages. The facility is adequate for the size of the town. Lines are longer at Christmas, like most post offices-(again a postal machine could help alleviate this snd help customers, especially in times when people need to distance. Parking is usually adequate -and in crowded times people can park in the larger lot at the library and walk. There are outside boxes for mailing letters in a small drive-thru area.

Walking into this post office I instantly noticed the convenient automated stalls To process mail and other things.. This is in the lobby area You can also get your mail ready for shipping It's a cool area. Stepping inside the main area with the postal workers I grabbed a spot in line The postal workers Told everyone thank you for being patient This is a very nice touch "Can one of you gentlemen give this lady a hand" The postal lady said. There was and older gentleman And only me I rushed to help lift her heavy box onto the counter Happily doing so.. The postal worker thanked me And the people in the line acknowledged the feat I had no idea I would go to the post office and leave Feeling like a better citizen.. I arrived around lunch time and it was pretty busy but the line moved faster than any other post office I've been to, the ladies are efficient. There is free street parking and several spots in their parking lot, it is a very tight space and I'm thankful I drive a compact car. The worker that checked me out was pleasant. I was a little confused by them not placing a fragile sticker on my package although I answered yes to the fragile question. I asked and was told they don't apply a fragile sticker but I've been to other offices and they have. I'm thankful my package arrived to the recipient on time and not broken. I will continue to drive to this office for postal services while I live on this side of town.

Mind you we had a reservation. There was another lady in there that was somewhat helpful but was unable to provide passport services. All in all, I would not recommend this place for passport photos as the entire experience was poor costumer service wise.
