Located at Bingle and Hempstead, this tiny lot is crowded with a taco truck during the day. This is the opposite of a popular slogan "everything is big in Texas". Everything is cramped in a smaller footprint. Inside of store is not inviting if your body is wide or require mechanical means to maneuver. But it has everything I need. I could not get a clear answer from the staff about the store hours. There ain't a sign posted. So I know it's closed completely at night, including gas pumps.

The wash seems a bit on the expensive side ($7 for the cheapest), but it does a good job. The was has actual brushes which clean better than a touchless version, and a very powerful air dry. Has the usual stuff plus a car wash…read more However, unless you are a diehard Shell fan or are on fumes, you will pay less for gas by driving a bit east and filling up at Buc-ee's. I realize the gas station biz is cutthroat and these places make hardly anything off of selling gas, but times aren't so good that I'll pay extra for fuel without good reason. Until Buc-ee's came along, this location had a monopoly on gas in Fairfield. Now that time is past...in the face of competition it isn't good to be at least 10 cents a gallon higher on gas.

I have never experienced such efficient and swift service in my whole automobile able-driving life. I overheard the owner/operator mention that they only have been 2 weeks now. I am seriously impressed with the work and no BS attitude! The best part of my time here was when my total bill was only $25.00! That is probably the best price in town! All my previous Inspection stickers cost around $37-$40!! I don't know if they are currently having a special on pricing but I told the man I will definitely be coming back ! Great service station good for if you are in a hurry during lunch. I got my oil changed on a…read moreweekday in about 15-20 min. The process was easy. You pull up to the front of garage door; A mechanic came to ask what I needed and I handed him the keys. The work was great. I paid 32$ for a synthetic blend oil change. I'm pretty sure my mechanic, Victor, also topped off my windshield wiper fluid and checked to make sure my tire pressure was correct. He's a really nice guy. The waiting area is a little run down, but the speedy service made it so no one has to sit too long. It's best to know what you want and the prices of the product before going in and then clearly telling the mechanic. They are mechanics and not customer service reps, so best to make it as clear as possible what you want. I've attached a picture of the prices.
