A friend of mine was looking for things to furnish her new home with and she loves thrift stores and this was our first stop since I was the driver for that day. The place is huge and quite junky to me. I was kind of shocked how junky it was because I have never been to a store like this before, but I was open to looking around. They had clothes, shoes, kitchen utensils and appliances, household appliances, and furniture. A lot of the things that were in here were broken and in need of repair. The owner says people come in and buy things that are broken and fixes them.....I guess!!!! They had a ton of special occasion dress that wear very inexpensive with the tags still on them. My friend did find a pair of shoes she liked. She was also interested in a bed in the back that was $325. It was a Queen size bed with huge wood fixtures on the bed frame. It was nice and sturdy. She was interested in the bed but she thought the price was kind of high, the owner did lower the price but she was still unsure. They also delivery to your home for $25. I thought that was a great deal. My friend also bought a vacuum cleaner, punch bowl, and vanity for $35. That was a pretty great deal for those items. I'm glad my friend was able to come here and get some things she was looking for. read more

I keep giving them chances by donating & purchasing items there but after this afternoon, I've decided to never step foot in that particular store ever again while I'm in the State of GA!!!! Today incident was the last time for me. I'm patiently waiting to purchase my items, me thinking I'm next, the cashier suddenly leaves the register without informing me of anything! (She looked me dead in my face & walked away). After that, I proceeded to put the items that I was going to spend my hard earned retirement money on & I left the store. I reiterate, that's not the first time something of this sort happened, but today was the day that I've had enough & came to the conclusion that today definitely , was my last time stepping into that particular store! To be fair though, I did have some positive experiences with some of the employees but it's not enough to make me want to go back. Y'all need to do under cover visits so that y'all could just weed out the ones that's just there for a check! Customer service is everything. It's what keeps your establishment afloat.

I was told if items still have original price on them they were supposed to be marked 50% of that. Seriously ??? Most of the time the item is flawed or damaged in some way, or from past seasons. I have seen items in there that had yard sale stickers on them and GW marked them at some fantasy retail price. Holiday items are now marked with fixed prices and I guess stay on the shelves until they break or look so shoddy somebody pulls them for the dumpster. Store does look cleaner as well and cashier was very nice.

During this visit, my 14-year-old daughter needed to use the restroom. Upon exiting, my 14-year-old daughter was approached by security who accused her of smoking marijuana in the bathroom. My daughter called my wife, and when she arrived, my wife informed the security personnel that our daughter is only 14 and does not smoke at all. My wife then granted security permission to search and smell our daughter to prove that she could not have been the one smoking weed, which would have resolved the allegations immediately. However, instead of hearing my wife's words and conducting a proper investigation, the security staff insisted that my wife and family leave the mall, which was incredibly humiliating for them. After my family was unjustly removed, my wife called the police to document the incident. The two officers who responded stated that security should have simply used their sense of smell rather than making assumptions. This incident has left my daughter traumatized, having been falsely accused and unable to demonstrate that she neither smoked nor had any scent of marijuana on her. This was a deeply distressing experience for my family, and there needs to be accountability or compensation for the humiliation and trauma inflicted on my daughter. I request that these two individuals offer my daughter an apology for their error, or I will be compelled to pursue legal action, as this situation is entirely unacceptable

Pick a bin and start diving in to see what goods you can find. There are 12-15 bins placed throughout the store, so people are not stuck or bunch up together. - Friday and Saturday is when new inventory is loaded onto the bins - Wednesday is $2.00 day. Every item is $2.00 - Thursday is clearance day (which I think everything in the bin is $1.00) - Thursday has limited hours from 10 am - 2 pm because they clear out each bin each week. Items in the bin vary each week. I recommend checking their Facebook page because they announce the highlights that will be placed into the bin. Warning: There are no returns or exchanges on the item you purchase. I recommend checking it thoroughly. I recommend bringing hand sanitizer or gloves. The items in the bin have been handled by many people. I recommend washing your hands thoroughly when you get home.
