Then stated she didn't understand why I needed a 4 bedroom house because as she stated I didn't have any children! smh mind you this was after me filling my application out after me giving them my first months, last months, and deposit and again I told her I have 2 children by the way! she like oh I didn't know that like what? I'm moving from a different city and it's during the week my kids are in school idiot! ofc im not gonna have them with me just to drive to Cleveland to pay a fee for them to miss school? make that make sense and I already showed her proof of birth certificates and all that so after moving in I had to pay a hefty fee to turn the water on in my name which the leasing office stated they wasn't gonna tell me that until after I already moved in what??????? how inconvenient right? I have children don't u think I should know these things upon signing my lease so ok I pay the $465.00 fee to turn the water on into my name not even 2 weeks later the leasing office contacts me and says I owe them a balance of 200.00for the water once again WHAT???? had to argue with them ans tell them the water is now in my name it's been in my name since I moved in I had to show proof and they just was doing the most my entire stay at this house was a complete disaster I'm a single mother of 2 children I wanted to move to a different city to get a new start at life and I felt like that was taken from me dealing with ppl like them! not only that upon leaving the residence they tried taking me to court stating I didn't pay my last months rent! lol good luck with that cuz I paid all that i am now living my best life and no longer having to deal with money hungry ppl like them! Not to mention the fact they'll try and charge you as much as they can on top of that. Maintenance requests are a nightmare, I've had techs not solve the problem, proceed to mark the ticket as resolved and leave without a word. The house wasn't fully cleaned upon our move in, cabinets were sticky and had flour inside etc. That's just the beginning of all the things that suck about this company, but plenty to explain the review. I need to go find a lawyer now but let me just end by saying DO. NOT. RENT.
