Pretty much a scam I went to go and fix my screen for my Ipad it took forever to get it back. From the time that they've quote it probably took a few more months that. I went in to get my ipad when the time it was fixed and after I paid for it I left the store. The screen shattered not even a couple blocks away from the store because there was edge that was sticking out and it shattered my screen. I brought it back to the store and they said they couldn't fix it. One of the workers were yelling at me when I asked them to show me the before and after pictures of my Ipad of the repairs and they couldn't show it to me. The one worker was yelling at me that he took pride in his work. At the end it ends up he wasn't even the one that fixed my ipad and it was the manger. Terrible customer service and terrible service. Would never return here again. The value wasn't worth it because I am still left with a cracked screen with a repair that cost me more than $350. read more

This is more for uBreakIfix as a company, but the store employees are pretty easy to communicate with. (Disclaimer: I'm able to do my own repairs and brought this to repair out of convenience). I brought in my PS4 Pro cause I had a issue where it wasn't reading discs (that's what I get from buying from Craigslist). They have a policy of checking your electronics for free before making the repair, which is great considering other shops would charge you for it. I left it with them for a few days (make sure you bring a power cable/game) and got the diagnosis that it was gonna be a $200 repair to replace the disc drive. This isn't a crazy price considering my game console requires software adjustments after replacing something like that, but I had a hint of doubt, and refused repair since I suspected it's something else. I picked up my PS4 without an issue or pressure, but when I brought it back, I got a pretty upsetting notification that my PS4 wasn't powered off properly. Being in this line of work with all thats occurred (having a blunt diagnosis, mistreating electronics, mispricied quotes from uBreakIfix via email) I suspect that their corporate office has unrealistic expectations that fall onto it's employees. They are expected to turn over phone repairs in a certain amount of time, which doesn't leave much attention for electronics that aren't iPhones or Samsungs. I think this shop is best suited if you have a iPhone repair that's a priority, but if you're doing anything else, consult with an independent shop before you come here. read more

I look at my credit card bill and I see you sign me up for some bullshit Asurion home warranty program with my phone number (similar to the GOOGLE review, Asurion customer service said my number was off by one number) .The messed up part is MKR (midget Kevin R) made it seem like he was going to genuinely use my number to give me a courtesy call for pick up. Further they used my credit card info that I was using to pay for the phone repairs to sign me up for random shit. I take all stars back because I have to call Asurion to cancel. This place is Shady , especially the midget Kevin Richardson. You're better off buying a new phone then dealing with these shifty mofos. DO NOT GO HERE TO REPAIR YOUR PHONE. I SPENT SO MUCH MONEY AND THEY NEVER FIXED MY PHONE. Why? 1.THEY CAN'T REPAIR PHONES PROPERLY (which is hilarious because that's what you're supposedly PAYING THEM TO DO) Here was my issue: I came in with a broken screen and the guy "repaired" it, but TWO PROBLEMS: 1. My battery was swelling and that was the whole reason the screen broke!! It ended up breaking again bc it outgrew the case. 2. My screen was super glitchy after it was fixed, but because I ended up cracking it again bc of the swelling, the warrantee didn't cover it, so I couldn't get my money back!! Absolute BULLSHIT. Never going here again. 2. VERY hit or miss customer service. I went in twice: the white guy Nick was awful. His useless advice and shitty repair is the reason I had to spend all the money on my phone. The second time I was helped by an Indian guy who was more attentive, but all the same, the company's warrantee didn't outweigh his somewhat decent customer service. Please avoid these guys. I brought in my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus to be looked at and was told it would need to go through "diagnostics". I told them it was never charging completely. They agreed to change the battery. This took an entire day and there was never a call back to tell me when it was ready. When I picked it up, whenever I called out on the same phone the other party couldn't hear me. Bringing the phone back to them, I was told it would need to go through another "diagnostics" and another day was lost. Also no call back. When I did pick it up I was charged for some unspecified work. I still cannot call out as the receiver can't hear me. I had no other choice but to buy another phone. By far some of the rudest employees I have ever encountered. Made an appointment, and went in to request service on a dysfunctional display. They ran no diagnostics to figure out if it was a software issue or a hardware issue, just assumed that it was a hardware issue (which is way more expensive - they probably wanted to jack up the price) and the screen would need to be fully replaced. When questioned about this, the employee we were talking to responded rudely, despite my daughter and I remaining respectful throughout the whole conversation. I highly suggest that you avoid this place, sketchy business practices looking to screw over those who they assume do not know enough about electronics. read more

This place is great. I have the month service that covers all my electronics. I had to bring my Mac because my speaker sounded distorted. They diagnose the problem within the hour and told me they need to order parts. Parts came in the next day and I picked it up that evening. I was so surprised the part got here so quickly. Buyer Beware! I brought in my IPad Pro to have its screen fixed, they replaced the screen for 300 dollars, and did not place the screen on correctly as the Apple Pencil no longer worked correctly. The sensor on the pencil did not react well with the screen and all the lines would come out squiggly. After the employee, Gallo (not sure if that is his real name), insisted that perhaps he just can't draw a proper "X" and that they did not damage the IPad I got pretty angry. They refused to repair and honor their warranty and they also said they would not issue a refund for the "fix". If you research this issue, it is due to a screen not being placed correctly onto the IPad, and I am now going through their corporate customer service. Will be bringing them to small claims should this not resolve. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Horrible, horrible store. Look up their reviews as well. read more

I was recommended to go to the store from the Rockville center location due to the fact that they did not have somebody who can starter at the time when I arrive to this location I walked up to the counter and waited for someone to come out when the person came out he walked right past me completely Did not acknowledge the fact that I was even standing there and continue to talk to another customer. Granted he was dealing with that customer already but a simple hello give me one second I'll be with you it's not that hard.... However, I let it go. I proceeded to still stand there, waiting to be acknowledged, and yet again, he comes back out, completely walk past me, and continues to talk to another customer as I still stand there... so I leave the store pissed, annoyed, and slightly insulted. I decide to give it a few minutes and come back. Maybe he's busy ‍ NO! As I come back in, he's wrapping up with a customer, and I go back to the counter with my device, waiting to still be at least acknowledged. As he wraps up, he looks at me and goes. I'm sorry this other person was here first and continues on to another customer who is standing off to the side. Is it really the hard to say HI Or give me a few minutes im busy ?!?? I booked an appointment for a free diagnostic on the website but they take walk ins as well. The quote was reasonable and even at 6:15pm, they were able to fix it same day within an hour. Brought my phone in for a screen repair, and it was great that they repaired it the same day. BUT I was told that my new screen "came with a 90-day warranty" -- what I didn't realize that the 90-day warranty was optional, and I only got it because the staff member had signed me up for an Asurion monthly plan, which I noticed when there was an email confirming my enrollment and a separate charge in my credit card. Thankfully, I was able to call Asurion to cancel my monthly plan with them, but just be careful because the staff don't ask you before signing you up for the warranty. read more
