After an almost stroke of my daughter spilling Kool-aid on my work laptop I located this business in Burlington, NC. First I called and inquired about the shop ...told them my story. They said they do Free Diagnostic so I took a chance. I called back to let them know I was coming....To my Surprise the gentlemen stated "is this the Kool-Aid lady?" Thank You for the Great Customer Service!! Visited the business and they have a sign stating only 1 customer/group allowed in at a time. This was due to the extremely small space... no complaints. I'm just Thankful they recognize the Pandemic. They were able to access my computer and get me to my laptop very quickly. I received a call within 2-hours stating that they did everything they could however , my laptop is dead. Good News - They were able to recover all of my files!! Charge for file transfer $86...not bad at all. Highly recommend this business to anyone looking for any electronic repairs. RIP to my HP laptop however, I look forward to backing up my work /personal files on an external storage device. #LessonLearned...and my daughter gets her own laptop. read more

They broke my iPad. Manager (Ryan) lied. No communication throughout multiple month process. Terrible customer service. Did not try to help at the end. After being told 5 days to repair, months went by with no repair. The manager said he would personally fix it by the end of the day. I show up, not only did he not repair it, he wasn't even there. After giving more time to repair with a promise of a discount, they then broke my iPad worse than before. Claimed to have reached out to me which they never did. Do not believe a word they say. Very disappointed with the repair I received from this company. My "fix" was done back in March 11, 2021, my phone was splashed on Sept 20, 2021 and the screen immediately had issues. We took the phone to get it dried out and realized the adhesive seal/gasket that was supposed to be part of the repair WAS NOT installed/put in place by the technician leaving it susceptible to damage. After the $$$ you pay for the service, you expect them to do their job and take their word for it that it was done correctly - I would NEVER have known that my phone was incorrectly and haphazardly fixed had i not been splashed with water. When I called the business to make them aware, they just said the tech that did my phone no longer worked there. So much for trying to make things right for the customer who got screwed with shoddy work. Moral of the Story - look online and buy a repair kit yourself -- I would NEVER go back to this business. read more

I flew in from California to spend one day in Burlington with relatives, and somehow broke my headphone jack so that part of it was left in my laptop. I Yelped for help, uBreakiFix replied right away, and half an hour later I got to their shop as they opened it on the dot of 10am. Five minutes later they had extracted the jack, all was well, and they refused payment for such a small fix. These people rock!!! read more

the asurion+ insurance plan was incorrectly explained to me not once but twice at this location. the first time i went in the man gave me what he said was all the information i would need, but when i followed those instructions i learned not only that i didn't need to make an in store appointment to start mu claim, but that my damage was not even covered by the plan. the second time i came in there was a more experienced woman and an employee in training working, and both were nice and professional, but service was slow and there seemed to be some communication issues between employees. no hate to the individuals!! the terms of the insurance plan just need to be communicated better to the employees so they can in tern explain it well to customers. read more

Everyone at the store was so kind and went above and beyond to solve my problem, even when it seemed there was nothing left to do. When something went wrong after the initial repair, the manager actually had my phone fixed with Apple at NO CHARGE to me, simply because they wanted to make sure I walked away satisfied. I was kept apprised of the repair status at all times, and they even gave me a loaner phone to get me through the couple days without my phone. I cannot praise these people enough!! I had an issue with my display, and took it here last week. Screen replaced, everything looks good, but I was warned that I'd get a notification on my phone about it not being genuine apple parts, which I didn't really worry or care about. I noticed some difference in touch screen responsiveness, but try not to think too much about it. One week later, I leave my phone on my coffee table to use the bathroom. Everything is normal when I leave, but two minutes later, when I come back and pick up my phone, the display is completely messed up. There are colored lines on the whole screen and splotches are entirely blacked out. There was no dropping, no water damage, or anything else that could have caused this issue to my knowledge. I think the parts they used are not correct and caused damage to my phone, and now I cannot take it to apple for repairs since third party parts were replaced, so I am completely out of luck. I tried to take the cheaper way out of getting my screen fixed and it backfired. I recommend going to an apple-certified location for any iPhone repairs. read more
