Brought my PS5 in for an HDMI repair. HDMI worked but they did not reconnect the disk drive cable causing the update to fail. Also, you would think that if you're paying $200+ to fix an HDMI they would blow some air through the unit to clean it out a bit... terrible. read more

IPhone had broken screen, and then fell into a sink of water and would not power up. Brought it in for water damage service, and if that was successful, a new screen. Unfortunately it did not survive, but I felt we were treated fairly and honestly. I would definitely give them another try. read more

Had a shattered phone screen, and uBreakiFix is my authorized repair center for Fi. Storefront was neat and clean. Drop off was painless and were familiar with the process for my plan and had all my info ready to go. Picked up working phone with new screen a few hours later. Asked about the possibility of diagnosing a hot tub circuit board and they said no problem. I was hesitant to come here because of the reviews. I had a painless experience, and the staff were polite and knowledgeable at every step of the way. Everything I saw and experienced leads me to believe that this location is perfectly adequate as a small electronics repair center, which is winning when you have to repair hundreds of different problems across hundreds of different brands, and half of those brands keep repair instructions limited to their in-house teams. No one said anything about reviews to me, and I'm only posting this one because current reviews are incredibly misrepresentative of both my experience and informed impressions. read more

I needed a battery for my iPhone before going on a trip. All of the other places either required almost 3/4 days wait or they didn't have a tech, even though they had the battery (which was probably a knock-off). With Assurion, I got a real Apple OEM battery fir a decent price. Now I'll be able to use my phone until the 2024 model comes out. read more

I was waiting at the door when they opened. Over six hours after I left I came back to get it. They hadn't even started looking at . They had already told be it would be cheaper to buy a new one without even looking at mine. There are other people in Clarksville that works on Samsung phones.... we came in to fix a camera and instead of fixing the actual camera they fixed the glass and charged me $124 for the glass getting fixed and didnt ever tell me the inside was broken. so i left with my camera quality worse than before and the lady was completely bitchy abt the whole thing and instead of even trying to help us. terrible. don't go read more

My son recently went to pick up our Switch from this store and the employee asked him to ask me to delete my review. I stand by my review of this store, but I wonder how many people they've convinced to delete their reviews. I will provide an update of everything that has happened since I left my initial review. After initially calling the Clarksville store and explaining that my device was in worse condition than when I dropped it off, they suggested I call the main office for customer support. I called the main uBreakiFix store, and spoke to Jessica, who explained that the store's policy is that devices are returned in the same or better condition, and made an appointment to return the Switch to the same store to be returned to the state in which it was originally dropped off. When I arrived at the store the next day, the technician who worked on my device told me that when he took it apart, "pieces fell out and board damage was evident" and that there was no point in me dropping it off. I want to make something clear here. At no point in the 2 weeks that ubreakifix had my Switch did they ever say anything about board damage or pieces falling out of the device. The first time anything like that had ever been mentioned is AFTER I brought it back and complained about the state in which it was returned to me. So I went back to my car, called Jessica back, waited on hold for 20 minutes, got told she would call me back when she got off the call she was on, waited for another hour, called back again, and was told that Jasmine, the store manager, was inside waiting for the Switch to be returned for warranty work. This was news to me since the employee I spoke to earlier told me there was no point in me dropping it off. When I went back into the store, I turned in the Switch, explained it wasn't docking properly and the power button wasn't working properly, and left. A few days later, the store called to tell me the device was ready to be picked up. They said it docked properly the whole time and the only reason it wasn't working for us was because the battery was dead. This explanation is completely ridiculous. The battery was not dead when we were trying to use the device in the dock at our home. In fact, one of the problems we were having was the fact that we couldn't turn it off because the power switch wasn't working properly. When we docked the Switch at home, the screen would stay on, which indicates it wasn't making connection with the dock. It is very possible that the battery died at some point while it was in their possession, especially because it wouldn't turn off properly, but it was not dead when we were trying to use it in the dock in our home. So the explanation for why the device wasn't docking properly has nothing to do with a dead battery, but at that point I was just happy the kids could use the switch on the TV again. My daughter put the Switch in the dock, loaded her game cartridge in the device and.... nothing. Now my Switch does not read cartridges. It is in even worse condition than I realized. The Switch is still bulging on the bottom (where the docking port is). It is also still missing one of the screws that is supposed to hold it together (that are located on either side of the docking port). Incidentally, the cartridge reader is located in the exact area of the Switch where the initial repair was supposed to take place. I only mention it because the technician who worked on it the first time tried to make the case that he was only working on that portion of the device, so he couldn't possibly be the cause of the docking problem. So its going back. Last thing - If you are considering taking your device to this store, and I strongly encourage you not to, make sure they do the diagnostic when you turn in your device. The results of the diagnostic are on the receipt you get when you turn in a device. According to a store I just spoke to, an X indicates the device failed a particular diagnostic, a check mark means it passed, and if a function can't be tested, the receipt would have a question mark next to that diagnostic. My 16-year old son is the one who dropped this device off. No intake diagnostic was performed, yet the receipt he got back has an X next to each of the tests, indicating the device failed all of the diagnostics.. including ones that the technician admits can't even be tested on a Switch. I guess its easy to guarantee a device will be returned in better condition that it was received if you're going to lie about the results of a diagnostic test that was never performed and say nothing worked. read more

I took my phone here to have the screen replaced after dropping it. Was told that the phone would be ready at 12:30 and here it is an hour later sitting in the car waiting for the device to be done due to "testing". This establishment is not very professional when it comes to dealing with customers. I would rather go to the ubreakifix in Nashville than to deal with these people again. read more

Absolutely THE worst experience. They've been purchased by Asurion. But use to be UbreakIfix. They are a self owned company. Save yourself the head ache. It's taken months of back and forth after bringing a screen in for repair and never being fixed. Brought in the BBB AND ASURION headquarters in from Nashville to get to a solution but still no success. Save yourself the time, money and loss of phone for another repair company. Driving to Nashville for a more reputable company will save you in the long run. read more

My device spent a month in the hands of uBreakiFix and was not fixed. Communication and customer service were poor, at best. More often than not, I had to be the one to call for updates about the progress of the repair and the individuals I spoke with all gave me different reports that conflicted. They were rude and seemed put out that I was asking for status updates. They never apologized for not being able to repair my device or for keeping it for so long without repair. I will never return to this business and will discourage others from doing so. This was the worst customer service I've ever received from a business. read more

Instead I should have taken it to Cell Phone Repairs at 2141 Wilma Rudolph, they charge only $129 for the same repair!!!! I'm so angry I didn't find that place first. Such a bad company I made a yelp account just to warn others. Absolute terrible place to get a repair. Brought my Xbox Series X in for a repair after it took a fall. Was told HDMI repair and some soldering, got it done quickly enough and for around $200. Took it home and it was plugged running for about 30-40 mins and started smelling like burnt plastic and now wont stay on for more than 20 seconds. Took it back, waited a week without hearing anything so i called; was told it worked perfectly fine and the tech was able to play for 40 mins. I thought OK and brought it back home only for it to not work and still be in the same condition. Bought a new power cord in case that is just whats wrong but nope, still broke. So thank you Asurion for the now $700 paperweight. Tell your unqualified techs to find a new job. read more

First and last experience with this tech service. Took my Ipad Pro there for a broken port, when you have to kind of wiggle it to get it to charge(know im not the only one had that problem). Well it was charging and holding a charge when I took it there. Arrived there and a lady took it in the back and checked it. Told me what i already knew, port needs replacing but she said she checked the tristar(circuit that deals with the charging or touchscreen, I dont know what but a good guess) and said it was fine. So i paid the upfront fee and she said they had a long line waiting for solder services and would call when it was done. After a month of waiting for my Ipad to be repaired, I finally called and was told that it had been worked on but was not holding a charge now. Why is that I asked. It was holding a charge before, now it doesnt? It was charging before ,even with the broken port. Worse decision I ever made bringing it to them. Then while on the phone with someone named Dustin, he basically suggested that I was abusing my $700 device. Wrong!!!! Sorry, I work in IT and take very good care of my devices. I believe somewhere in repai,ring my device someone has made a mistake and done something to my Ipad systemboard and is not willing to take responsibility for said mistake. Again, worse decision I could ever make and I will never send or suggest this tech service for anyone. Also, made it seem like I shouldnt be upset that my device doesnt work anymore and it was working when I brought it in. I'm kicking myself in the head now, should have followed my intuition and not leftmy device. Basically, i paid for them to break my Ipad. Damn!!!!! and this is not a fake review but an actual customer with a very bad experience. read more

I dropped my Xbox off here and it was never fixed and the problem was the power supply was not working and it was a Xbox one x so the had to open it up to get to it and in the process the cracked the back panel and said that that's how it was brought in even tho I took pictures right before we brought it in and after all that and it not being able to be fixed it still cost us 80 dollars even though it did not get fixed read more

I hate to leave a bad review, but my experience has been horrendous.On July 1st, I took my Apple Watch in to be repaired. Initially, Iwas told it would take a couple of days for the repair.  Because we are facing a pandemic, I am extremely patient with the turn around times. I followed up concerning my repair on July 9th and was told someone would call back in 30 mins, they ended up calling back the next day; which wasn't a big deal. On this call, I was told my repair would be ready in a couple of days. However, I never heard from them.  On July 17th, I went in to check on the status of my watch and was told it would be ready by the end of the day. Once again, no one called me back. I just called this morning and was told my watch was repaired, but I would need to bring my own charger to check it's functionality. When I told the gentlemen on the line this was extremely unprofessional, he replied: "well, you can bring in your charger to test it and pick it up, it's ready now". I am extremely disappointed in their service and would not recommend this place to anyone. An apology would have sufficed, but with this behavior, I definitely will not be returning. read more
