Both repairs were completed by a young guy, very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable, he even laughed at my bad jokes. Both repair were completed in less than 30 minutes. My wife's phone repair cost $80 and she's had no problems at all since the repair ( about 2 months). The battery on the other phone was done for $45. Parts were $25 and labor $20. Verizon wanted $40 just for their battery! Definitely recommend iRite to anyone who needs their iPhone repaired.

Also offered to repair again, but after the escalation of this situation and dealing with staff at store on multiple occasions in-person and phone asking to have this done in the first place, we declined to use them to repair the cracked screen. Update: "Jeff", the manager reached out to repair via text, but we simply don't trust this business after visiting in person and then calling twice afterwards to have them replace in one day. Sorry, but we have never had a cracked phone screen in this household until we used your product. And it very well could have been cracked or dropped by your business since we noticed the cracks less than 18 hours after getting the phone back. It's a shame you couldn't replace it when we brought it to the store. Hopefully, a refund will be made since we gave you three chances to make it right. Steer clear! This place will swindle you. They do not honor warranty. Had a screen replaced because the touch aspect stopped working. Had phone for four years and never had a cracked screen. Less than 24 hours after getting it replaced, screen cracked and not by dropping. Paid $150 to replace the first time for an older Samsung Galaxy. Staff was rude and said they don't replace from phone drops, but if they opened phone they could tell if it was dropped or not. Hmmm, so I should believe them to tell me if the phone was or wasn't dropped? As it's an older phone (four years), I can guarantee it has been dropped a few times, so looks like an easy out for them to not cover warranty. They are either really bad at repairs or offer cheap replacement products to customers. Go to a more reputable place, like Computer Cave. They are honest and offer quality repair and products. Staff at this Fruit Fixed Store couldn't even tell me how much the part the cost or even acknowledge that glass can crack from cheap quality or improper repair. Save your money and repair elsewhere at a more reputable place.

I said I dropped the phone over two years ago but they said it does take time for the damage to get worse over time. I suppose that's what happened in this case. I call them back ask their warranty policy, they say: "we can look at it but if it's something we deem you did then we will charge you again." Uh? No! It's your job to fix it not mine. After reading the reviews of similar things happening with the exact same two men I decided to not bring it back and waste my time or money. Definitely not stopping here again.

My roommate and I bumped into each other causing her phone screen to shatter into a million little pieces. This happened at 7 45 on a Thursday night. We called up Mr fix in a panic and he told us to come right down, that he would have it done in 30 minutes. And he wasn't lying! We took a short 25 minute walk around the mall and we were done, he even offered the screen protector which she desperately needed. Getting the screen fixed was 110, already much cheaper than what all our friends had paid we had asked (most of them were in the 140-160 range). So overall, he was quick, cheap, and very accommodating! The best thing about this trip for me was that I actually forgot something I bought in his store! I had bought a wax melter at Yankee candle on our short walk and forgot it in his store. I called back the next day and he said no worries, it is waiting for you here. I've lost my purse places before, asked to get it back and been told it wasn't there. Then visiting the place I knew I had left it, found it right in plain sight, just begging to be stolen by someone. But this guy kept it safe in his back room and knew exactly what I was talking about when I called the next day. What customer service!! I would strongly recommend this place for phone and computer repair. read more

Mr. Fix it is a great and wonderful guy with an amazing service. I had run into trouble when my Pc started over heating on me because my CPU cooler had up and died on me. I was in a real bind I had an exam in a few days with a dead Pc that had all my files. I called many other places and all of them wanted to charge me a large sum to just install a new cooling system I had purchased myself and also couldn't even get the work done for me for almost a week. So then when I called Mr. Fix it he told me not only could he get it done by 1pm the next day I could bring it in right now and it was only going to cost me a fraction of what the others quoting me. This guy not only had the job done by the time he promised and for the sum he quoted he even cleaned out my pc and tuned it properly. Something the people I bought the custom built system from failed to do for me. This dude is the real thing, you got a pc problem or any electronic issue he can fix it and MOST IMPORTANTLY will always give you a equitable deal. Well, it finally happened. After dropping my iphone hundreds of times, the glass finally shattered. :( First went to the Verizon store as I have insurance, only to find that I have to call the third party insurance phone number that perpetually puts you on hold. Anyway, the deductible (Verizon guy mentioned ~$140?) is ridiculous. And if you add up the monthly charge you pay, you are essentially buying yourself a new phone! (Note to self: cancel insurance!) Second stop, the Apple store. The only thing they could offer was to replace it for $200. Given my contract will be up in 5 months, didn't seem worth it either. Although Apple doesn't encourage getting the glass replaced, I figured it would get me by. Finally I went to Mr Fix Cell phone repair to fix my old Iphone 5 S. Tech guy did a screen repair perfectly in less than 25 minutes and saved me a lot of $$$. It is hard to find a reliable shop these days so I am glad I found this place, which has also cheap prices compare to other shops. Service was prompt, professional and kind. read more

This is the cellphone repair store of dreams. It has everything you might need. If you happen to come in you most likely have some device to repair. Mr. Fix services almost any phone brand, from Apple and Samsung to Alcatel and ZTE. The service there is fantastic, too. The staff is friendly and very attentive. It's a pleasure talking to them and getting to know what the problem with your phone or any other device is. The repairs are usually done in under an hour, depending on what the problem is. So you can just wait inside or walk around while your device is being fixed. There are also tons of different cell phone accessories: cases, cords, screens, anything you might need, so you might as well hop in if you have lost your charger somewhere and buy another one. I'm very glad I've discovered such a great repair location and I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Dropping my Samsung S7 down a flight of stairs? Not a good idea. Going with Mr Fix to repair my phone? Great idea. Their price to fix the LED screen on my phone was the cheapest around by an average of about $50, and they were the only store that had the correct color in stock. The only reason why this isn't a 5 star review was because I came in the scheduled pick up day, only to find out there were multiple problems with finding a properly working part to replace with. However, things happen. The person who worked on my phone was very nice, relaxed, and knowledgeable with this type of work. I had to end up going to the east broad street location as well, due to a factory defective LED screen that was installed during the repair. I would most definitely recommend this place to a friend! read more

Never wrote a Yelp review but had a great experience this past Sunday. My laptop computer battery died and after replacing it - it was still not working. I took it to Mr Fix It Sunday 10/7/18 to see if there was a problem with the laptop or the battery. Within 1 hour they were able to diagnose that I had simply purchased a faulty battery and that the laptop was fine. That advice saved me hundreds of dollars in having to buy a new laptop. To top it off, the employee showed me exactly what to purchase off of Ebay so that I would run into the same problem again. All of this of course at no charge (diagnostics are free). I was very impressed and will consult them with any cell phone or computer issues in the future. Thanks so much! read more

My Samsung S20 screen broke to the point it was unusable. I got quote from several places and Mr Fix had the best price. Linh T. was super friendly and explained everything to me. He is very honest and fair also. He had all the parts in the store and even said if he didn't, He could order it and it would be there the next day. It was super fast too! He said it would only be 1- 1 1/2 hours. You can do some shopping at the mall while you wait too. When I got back, my phone was ready and everything look brand new and a perfect fit. He was able to find a less expensive screen than he quoted me before. I paid almost $200 bucks less than he quoted me! I had a great experience at Mr. Fix Stony Point location. I took my computer in for a repair. I dropped my computer on the floor when it was charging. This caused my charging port and USB port to become loose and bent. I was unable to access my USB port due to the damage. The representative explained my best options concerning this issue. He explained what he was doing throughout the process. He tested my computer before I left the store. When I got home I tested my USB port. I was able to access my ISB port with no problems after the repair. I will definitely be using Mr. Fix services for future repairs. Incredible service! I had brought in an iPhone 6 with a cracked screen and Alex repaired it so quickly, the quality of work was perfect. I brought back the same phone 2 weeks later because it was acting up (other issues) and Alex opened it up, assessed the issue with the phone. He took the time out of his day to ensure the phone was repaired and working properly, he felt terrible that I didn't have a case for the phone and gave me a complimentary case so I wouldn't damage it any further. After a night of drinking, I woke up confused and my phone was covered in water.. Wth right? Idk either.. Anyways, after putting it in rice for 30 mins, it kinda worked again, but a couple of hours later, as I was using it, the screen turned into a mosaic of white and random colors.. Ha.. ha.. I panicked for a while, but I remembered Jimmy the angel magician and decided to pay him a visit first thing the next day He legit fixed it in 15 mins while we were having a conversation! I strolled into this place on a whim after seeing a sign in the window that said they repair more than just iphones macbooks too! I think these guys repair all kind of phones and most types of laptops. My computer had been running extremely slow for months, I thought probably viruses or some issue with hard drive or memory ram but I couldn't figure out why. Mr Fix Cell Phone and Computer repairs were able to take one quick look at my computer, run a couple repair processes and voila! I called several different places to get my Iphone 6 Plus repaired. I dropped my phone off at one place and they promptly called and told me that they had a defective LCD part and my phone wouldn't be fixed until Tuesday at the earliest. With today being Friday that was not acceptable. I finally found Mr. Fix It and had the pleasure of dealing with Denis. My phone was fixed within minutes and at 2/3 rd's the price I was going to originally spend. Denis even threw in a discounted screen protector. I am NOT technologically savvy by any means and sometimes get nervous going to tech shops for fear of sounding vapid, nervous, and dumb. This place is great! The tech guy Max was very knowledgeable, patient, and answered all my questions while he rebooted my phone, restored all my apps and pics and contacts, while also getting rid of all of the extra data usage that was slowing it down. What a fantastic business! I recommend it to anyone who has tried to get their phone fixed at a provider like Verizon and feels like their questions aren't being answered. I am not a big yelper but I feel obligated to fill yelpers in on these guys. I came in with my little Asus, which was having an audio output problem after a regular maintenance update and also I needed keyboard and touchpad replacement. They fixed my problem and were very friendly and very knowledgeable. I just today got back my laptop that I shorted out the keyboard with alcohol. They replaced my toasted touch pad as well as keyboard. Thanks to Mr Fix Computer Repair, I have new life in my machine. Mr. Fix said the battery I needed for my 7 year-old Sony laptop had to be ordered from China, and that he couldn't order it because he couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't be defective. I decided to risk ordering it myself, and Mr. Fix installed it today, the same day I called him. It works well. His price was fair because this model is quite difficult to open. He also cleaned the inside of the machine, made another minor adjustment, and checked for viruses at no additional charge. I don't know how to express my appreciation. They are truly professional. Brought my completely demolished broken Iphone yesterday which wasn't even able to turn on. They did ran diagnostics, jumped the battery, and got it running again and in 40 minutes, as promised, my phone was back, lit up, and working! They repaired all issues with home button and mute button,replaced camera and even customize it for me, I had black phone and decided to switch to white color screen which now I like better. My friend went to get her phone fixed. She is from out of town and visiting me for the holidays. We were in a rush to find somebody good to fix her phone as quickly as possible. It was destroyed. She couldn't use it because the touch screen no longer worked. We found Mr. Fix. He had amazing customer service and had her phone back to looking brand new in 20 minutes. So convenient! After dropping my iPhone 7 in water and totally submerging it, I thought it was done. The home button wasn't working, it was shutting down on its own and the screen was gray on the left side. I brought it in to Mr. Fix and he opened it up right away and we could still see water in it. He had it back to me by the end of the day and he had replaced a couple parts, showed me pics of the corroded, burned up areas and it was like brand new for a steal! Mr Fix saved me from being hacked! They worked on my computer and found the virus and were able to delete it. Both Vlad and Eli understood how violated I felt and said they had not seen this type of virus. When I came I picked up my computer I brought a long list and Vlad answered all of my questions and helped me set up a new gmail on my phone and computer as well as change my passwords. I've been searching around for a few places that wouldn't charge me an arm & leg to fix my iPhone 8plus LCD and I've been to Mr fix before to shop for accessories but I've never had any work done on my phone until today. Spoke with Vlad on the phone a few times before bringing my phone in to be diagnosed in person. I wasn't sure if the damage was fixable and he did just that in under an hour.
