Asurion is the worst company I've ever dealt with and I hope ATT quits using them for insurance. Scheduled an appointment at a store. Called the day of appointment and was told they had the part and come in in. Took off work early got to the store and they couldn't find the appointment. They had me call corporate and listened to the lady yell at me for forty five minutes that they store I was standing in did not exist. Finally they decided it was probably because they didn't have the part?! So came home and made an appointment for home repair. Scheduled it late in the afternoon but still had to take off work early. The time for the appointment came and went with no call, text or anything. An hour AFTER the appointment was scheduled to end - which was three hours after it was scheduled to start- the tech texted and told me he couldn't come and to reschedule. No thanks! This is a review of ALL of Asurion not just this store as I dealt with corporate and two different stores. They are terrible at customer service and reliability. read more

Dropped my phone a few months ago, so was dealing with a crack on the side of my phone that had spread all the way to the other side. So, I went through my insurance and they recommended UbreakiFix. I scheduled an appointment online for them to come to my home and was followed up with via email, but did not hear anything back. So, I continued to email and call, but did not hear back. Finally I was able to get someone on the phone and they weree able to get me scheduled and Jesus came out last week and really took care of my phone. He was so sweet, kind, and even put on my screen protector and checked out what was going on with my notification settings. Despite the hiccups at the start everything ended up going and ending very well. And my phone looks amazing! read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Do not bring any devices for repair here!!! Last Monday I called the store to get a quote on replacing my cracked LCD screen for my 2013-14 MacBook Pro Retina 13" and I got a price in the $400s. I called other stores and got prices way higher so I ended up deciding to bring it here. When I went to drop it off, I asked for a price again because it seemed like the guy in person was different from the one I spoke with on the phone so I just wanted to make sure. He could not provide a price because he said it would depend on who knows what, but he assured me it wouldn't be very high because I was persistent on knowing before leaving my laptop there. The next day I got a call saying it would cost me $439 and I made sure it was including the labor cost, and the guy on the phone said yes it's the total pricing so he went ahead and ordered it. 2 days ago on Monday, which was a whole week since I left my laptop there, I was told it was ready so I went to pick it up and was charged $795. It turns out I was MISQUOTED TWICE. The only options I had were to pay the outrageous amount or get my old screen put back in and that latter was what I decided on. I made sure they put it back in THAT MOMENT because I refused to wait any longer with my laptop in their possession. Extremely disappointed with the miscommunication and poor service. read more

Had a terrible mishap the other day which resulted in my phone flying out of my grasp and crashing on my concrete floor. Of course my screen was cracked and I was distraught. After contacting my phone insurance, I was told to go to UBREAKIFIX for my cell phone repair. I was assisted by the wonderful Javiar, who has an awesome personality and spirit. He gave me an approximate waiting time of 2 hours, which allowed me to go run some errands and come back. Much to my happiness, my phone was fixed and looks brand new! Z Fold 3 I called on Wednesday to confirm that they could fix the phone. They said that could but not that day because they were at capacity. Also, they may be closed the next day due to weather. Fine. Can I make an appointment for Friday. "No need, we'll take you as a walk-in. The repair should take 2-4 hours." I show up Friday at 10 a.m. to drop it off at opening so I didn't have an issue with being behind other repairs. The only guy that can fix my guy is off that day. THIS IS WHY I ASKED FOR AN APPOINTMENT! So I bring it back Saturday morning. "Yes, we can fix it, but it's only two of us here, so it will probably take until the end of the day." THAT'S 8 HOURS! Not only that, but it wasn't fixed that night. I went in Sunday to pick it up even though I hadn't gotten notice that it was done yet. Not only had they tried 3 different screens and didn't get it fixed, the small outside screen is now also MALFUNCTIONING! So, not only is my phone not fixed, it took 2 extra days to drop off, I was without it for the better part of 2 days, and it's more broken now that when I brought it in! Now my only option is to mail it to Samsung with a 7 to 14 BUSINESS day turn around time! Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! read more

Offered to pay cash so they didn't have to run a credit card. The guy at the front desk looks me in the eye and says "I'm not working past 7". When I went to the store on Friday I had scheduled an appointment already with the 1-800 customer service. They told me I didn't have to leave my laptop while they ordered the part. I showed up and the assistant manager told me that he had already ordered the charging port because I gave them that information on the phone. And that it was early enough on Friday for his morning order and so he went ahead and added it to it and the order had already been made and he was going to have it overnighted. He said the part should come in by Saturday and it should be fixed by Sunday at the latest. I left my laptop there on Friday and missed out on a day of work while it was getting supposedly fixed. He said it would be I could get it by Sunday and I wouldn't have to miss any more work. I got a cold Monday morning saying that it was going to be $40 and I said great I'm going to come get it but it wasn't fixed because they hadn't ordered the part yet so they said to me 3 to 5 days before the part gets in and this time going to be fixed until next week. I told them they should overnight it like they already told me that they did on friday. They said well even if we do it's going to take several days. So I told them to fix it. Then I called customer service and was online with them for an hour and a half the third time the first two times I got hung up on. Then I went Tuesday afternoon to pick up my laptop and they had to use my own charger to see if the laptop was even fixed. They said that the charger they had was too powerful or something and just kept it active and alive but wouldn't charge it. So they didn't even know if it was fixed so they had me come up there and spend my gas money just to see if they had done their job right. They verified through my charger that their work was completed. Then I had to wait 30 minutes because they said the system went down and they couldn't get it get the system back up and they said I couldn't leave with the laptop. Then I had to tell him to call his district manager and I would leave cash just so I could get my laptop and work Wednesday morning. He was telling me I couldn't leave the store with the laptop. He finally called his manager and his manager told them to let me go and leave the cash. I didn't even get a receipt for the laptop being fixed. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a new company and I will be telling my 10,000 followers on social media not to go to that store and about the lying that happened from the assistant manager and everything that happened this is the worst experience I've had with a new company ever. And I will never go back unless I am contacted and convinced that somehow all the lying and stealing of my two days of work can be compensated somehow. read more

Really disappointed in their work. We came in with a shattered iPad screen and for them to look at the charging port since it was having issues. They only replaced the screen, told us they weren't able to fix the home button, and charging port is worse and doesn't charge at all. When my husband picked up the iPad and brought it home, the touch screen wasn't even working and he had to drive back to the store. When he informed them about it, their response was "oh we were having trouble with it too". Why would you give it back to the customer when you knew it wasn't functioning correctly? NEVER GOT A CALL, went up there before they closed(after they had my phone for over 5 hours) to see what was going on with my phone and the guy was like "We couldn't fix your phone. As soon as we opened it up, it just powered off and wouldn't come back on. But good thing you have insurance because they'll send you a new one!" They destroyed my phone-I've never had a case off my phone so the metal casing of my iPhone was in perfect condition-now it has scratches and scraps everywhere like they dropped it multiple times. Worse place I've ever gone to get my phone fixed, will never be returning and I wasn't the only angry customer there either. This place is a joke. read more

Had problems with not having work order in the system and they stayed late and after hours to get this taken care of and repaired. So few companies offer this kind of service. This place is terrible!!! I ordered parts for my 2017 Rose Gold MacBook Air 2 weeks ago (April 13th 2020) and I had yet to receive a call stating that the parts had arrived and that I could bring it in to be fixed. I called over a week ago (April 18th 2020) and was told that the parts were delayed because of Covid-19 and that they would be here by last Monday at the latest. As of April 28th 2020, I still had not received any call or email so I took it upon myself to call and get an update. When I called I was asked for my name and then put on hold for 5 minutes. Once the man came back to the phone, he proceeded to ask me if the order was under another name. I told him no and he put me back on hold for another 5 minutes. He comes back and asked me what type of laptop I ordered parts for, I told him a 2017 Rose Gold MacBook Air - he then proceeds to put me on hold again. He comes back a minute later and says "Hi you said a 2013 MacBook Pro?" I thought to myself you have got to be kidding me. I told him no and repeated to him the type of laptop I had. The man puts me on hold for another 2 minutes and comes back to tell me that he doesn't know where the parts are and ask if he can give me a call back in a few hours once he locates them. Do you think I ever received a call back? No! I also sent them an email and never received a response. As a first time customer of UbreakIfix, this is very frustrating and shows that they do not care about their customers at all. Worst experience ever! My husband took his phone in and was told it would take 45 minutes to repair. When I called I was told it would take 30 to 40 minutes. He left and came back an hour later. The phone was still not ready. He waited another 15 minutes or so before it was finally ready,. The staff is slovenly and completely unhelpful. Clearly not an owner operation.
