This is the third time I have relied on Repair Republic to help me with electronics like pc and smart phones. My iPhone X had battery and screen issues. I was properly greeted as soon as I walked into the store. After Leo at the front desk saw my iPhone's condition he provided a repair quote for battery and screen replacement. I was so relieved he told me they are well-stocked with all the parts necessary. I was originally told it would take about an hour and a half for the repair to be done. I was willing to wait so I did. I was offered bottled water to drink. Within a few minutes Leo told me that he assigned my repair to the technician and gave it priority since I was waiting. Now that's great Customer Service. I can testify I only waited about 10 minutes and within that time frame Leo came back to tell me my iPhone X was finished being repaired. Such a pleasant surprise in today's climate to be treated like a valued customer. I was given courteous treatment and priority as a customer in their store. Came in for a rear glass and frame repair (iPhone). I spoke with Leo, who was great to deal with, super friendly, helpful, etc. He reassured me that the replacement parts were Apple authentic, and not aftermarket products, which I appreciate. I mentioned that my intention was to get the full trade-in value for my iPhone when I upgrade later this year, as my phone has always been covered in screen protector and an Apple case, and again was reassured that it would not be apparent to Apple if I had swapped anything out on the phone. Leo neglected to mention that the parts were coming off of a used and scratched phone. Four hours and $270 later, I ended up with a scratched frame, even visible from the front with my case on. No point in even having a case now. Communication is key. I never would have agreed to have my phone repaired with a scratched frame, no matter if it was a genuine Apple product or aftermarket. Thankfully, this is the first situation I've ever had with significant damage to my phone, so hopefully I won't have to shop for another shop to do these repairs next time. **I'll attach photos when I can get a second phone to take pics. read more

Also, the price I was quoted (with tax!) was exactly the price I paid. No hidden charges/fees/fantastical surcharges. My phone screen was SUPER DUPER broken. I was mentally prepared to pay extra, but nope. Men of their word. 2) TIME SAVER: YES!! Went yo Bulb-Battery- Some-Junk and Bunk-Buy the night before when my phone kicked the bucket. Not only were they $40 and $150 OVER what I paid at Repair Republic, but they were also wieners. One said with only an hour left to close, they couldn't take in new orders. Monster conglomerate quoted but then refused to do the repair because of the "extensive damage." Ummm, you are overpriced poop heads, sirs. Here though? BOOM! They got it done son!! They were fast and professional but I was a little disappointed in the breakdown in communication between the staff. I called ahead and was quoted $79 for an iPhone 6 Plus screen replacement. Once there (20 minutes later), it was $89 Plus tax but "I'll throw in a temper glass cover". I've got a stack of them at the house but whatever, I just want my phone fixed. Phone is done in 30 mins. I pick it up but a different guy is checking me out then who I was dealing with at drop off. That'll be $99.37. I'm like damn, what is y'alls tax rate over here! But whatever, my phone is done. "Hey, did you want a tempered glass cover?" He wasn't privy to the earlier convo so, yes please. That'll be an additional $19 please. Oh hell no! Just give me my phone before you make me take out a loan. After my initial post, I was contacted by the store manager who was receptive to my concerns. It's great that they monitor Yelp and reach out to their customers. The replacement screen did have a dead spot in it. I brought it back in and it was fixed in a jiffy. They also applied the glass screen protector for me as well. In the past I've done my own phone repairs by purchasing parts on Amazon and EBay so the initial sticker shock of the pro repair was a bit unappealing. I had posted a review but removed it so I could give the business a chance to make it right as they had said they wanted to. When I contacted them with my concerns about bringing my computer back in when they said it was fixed and it was not, they said the computer was fixed. I then decided that if they could not even consider the possibility that there was still an issue, I could not bring my computer back to them I started first with the end, and now I will tell you the beginning. My MacBook Pro retina 13" would not charge. I took it to a shop in Cedar Hill (you can see my review of this place here). They charged me $75 and said they unplugged the battery and then plugged it back and voila! It was fixed. Yes. I agree with you if you are saying I should have plugged it into a charger before I left, but I did not. When I got home it would not charge. Then, the next day when I tried to turn it to get some of my passwords, it wouldn't even turn on even though it was at least at 30% when I had turned it off last. I bought an after market charging port thinking this might be the issue. When I was at this store to have the battery replaced in my kid's iPhone, and told him of the part I had bought, he said there was a danger that I could fry the motherboard. When the part came, I took the part and my computer to this shop. I made it very clear what the issue was, including what had happened at the previous shop, and that it would not now even turn on. They called me the next day and said the inside of my computer was very dirty and for $100 they would clean it. I said yes, even though that seemed very high. He said later my computer was done and there were no problems. They cleaned my computer, replaced the part I provided, and it was fine. No. It does not charge. It does not. Do not use this business. Ever. *note- the owner mentions in his response mentions a software cleanup. AT NO TIME DID THE TECH WHO CALLED SAID THEY WOULD BE TOUCHING SOFTWARE, NOR DID I AUTHORIZE THEM AT ANY TIME TO TOUCH ANY SOFTWARE. This shows how they are trying to cover their ass. You can also see that they continue to say they fixed it when they did not. This was the same when I emailed them about bringing my computer back in. I have paid almost $300 between these two "repair" shops and my computer is still not useable. If you can't even imagine the possibility that my computer is still not working, why would I trust you with my computer again? They have recently added to their comment of my review that they did a "tune up". They did not do this, unless it was a secret tune up that I did not ask for or that they offered. Again, this shop is trying to cover their ass. Note that the owner, instead of making it right, has chosen to defame me here. Is this the kind of business you want to trust? Also, AT NO TIME DID THEY OFFER TO REFUND MY MONEY. THIS IS A LIE. This business can keep adding whatever lies they want to. Everything I have said in this review is 100% true and accurate. LIE: they offered me a refund. LIE: they offered me and I accepted anything done to my software. UPDATE 12-22-18 The business said they offered a refund in an email. They did not. These guys were a life saver. I just came off a long business trip to discover my laptop screen went south on me. I found Repair Republic on Yelp and called. They were very respectful of my time. The gentleman at the counter was able to determine it was the screen with the possibilities of needing to replace it or there might be a loose connection. So we brought a laptop in with keyboard issues. The repair price including part was really low and we were very happy with the pricing considering it was a complete teardown to replace. Unfortunately there was an issue with the keyboard cable getting mangled, and it actually made the keys worse. We almost scrapped the laptop before I started simply taking it apart to find the cause. I found Repair Republic on Yelp and based on the great reviews decided to entrust them with my laptop. The screen on my laptop went out and I needed it fixed ASAP! The guy was honest about my laptop. He stated it couldn't be fixed but treated and explained to me the pros and cons of treating the problem. Basically my laptop was gone but I appreciated his honesty. They weren't trying to take my money! They simply removed all of my files from the laptop and put them on a flash drive. It cost almost $90 (including the 64 gig flashdrive), I used the $20 off check in discount through Yelp and that helped out a lot.
