Brought a tablet to them in January to fix the charging port, it took over 2 weeks to fix (not sure why it took that long) and then in June it stopped working again so I brought it back in under warranty. I was told that they would fix it one more time but then that's it. Fast forward to today and we are almost 2 months they have had it, I called July 1st and they said the part was still on order, you can get it next day on Amazon so not sure where they are sourcing their parts from or they are just feeding me a line. Update: As promised, editing my review from one star to two, to say that someone named 'Kegan', fixed the following issue, by giving us back our $60, here was the original review: "Calling these guys again today to see if they make this right. I paid $60 for a diagnostic that didn't result in my daughter's desktop working again. Had to take it back and they said the CPU needed replaced and that it would be $150. We asked if they'd take the $60 off of that and they said "yes", I wasn't there when she picked it up and they didn't take the $60 off. Calling them to get the $60, they claim that the CPU and install was actually $250 and they took $100 off. BS. That processor is $90 retail, and they say their install is about $60. I hate people getting taken advantage of. They need to do what's right or I'm turning them into the BBB. They take care of us, I'll come back and revise my review. First experience with this company and I would not recommend their services to anyone. Brought my son's playstation in for a HDMI port repair after it dropped then I was told it was fixed. I then picked up the PlayStation brought it home and my son immediately tried to use the HDMI port was still not working called back did troubleshooting suggested with no success and then was told to bring it back in. The PlayStation was back within an hour of picking it up, they brought in back and I was told we damaged the port again. I explained that was impossible as there was nothing done to the port but plugging in the HDMI cord. I don't believe it was ever fixed appropriately I was then told he must have plugged it in too aggressively ( which did not happen my son has had PlayStation for years and has traveled with them unplugging and plugging never an issue). I was charged again to fix . I was told it was tested before it was picked up. I would suggest demanding proof of fix prior to leaving with anything you bring in. But if it's for PlayStation they do not have the capability of showing fix as they cannot bring you in the testing room and equipment they brought out did not work with the PlayStation. I would not believe them when they say it has been tested and works. When dealing with the parent company they were not helpful at all. I would buy a new item before having them try to fix anything it will cost close to the same by the time you get the item actually fixed. read more

This morning I woke up to find my iPhone dead. It had a black screen and wouldn't respond to any of my attempts to reset it. I decided to set up an appointment with uBreakiFix to have them look at it. They were able to see me within 90 minutes and were ready when I arrived. The technician took my iPhone and said he'd try it on a couple of chargers to see what's up. 2 minutes later he walked back out and my phone was working. I brought my computer in to this facility to be checked and was told my computer would be finished in 1-3 business days. It took two weeks for them to perform the basic diagnostic. I called 3 times to check in and ask for an update within this time frame, and each time I was given an excuse (i.e,. we don't have the proper tools to run the diagnostic, we are short staffed, we are slammed) as to why they've neglected my services, but they kept telling me "You will get a call from us by the end of the day," to which I never did. On one call, the boy told me that it was a motherboard issue and they didn't have the materials to run the diagnostic for it. Finally, I called one last time to check in and a nice guy spoke with me and was very honest in saying that there should not be any excuse for this to not be done, and he was kind enough to put it in the front of the queue (which made me wonder where my computer was in the queue, or if it was even in the queue) and it was a very simple fix (not a motherboard issue, as I was originally told). Cherry on top of it all, I was told since they had me waiting for so long, they would waive the diagnostic fee. This was not the case when I came to pick it up, I was charged full price for the diagnostic after being fed a line of excuses for the last two weeks about my computer. Will most definitely NOT be returning, and WILL be sharing my experience with UBreakIFix to anyone who seeks electronic assistance. Note: If you provide a 1-3 day timeframe, ADHERE TO IT. A 1-3 day timeframe turned to almost 14 days, be transparent. read more

It's common now that we all have smartphones, but we're not smart enough to take care of or hold on to them. I've joined the club as I dropped my phone and cracked my camera lens. I showed up to the store and they said they would have to order the lens which would take two days. What was odd was the staff person just took my phone number. He didn't ask for my name or any other information. I get a call four days later that the lens is in. The next day I went in to get it fixed, and was a little worried as it seemed busy and I was on a time crunch that day. I was told the first time I went to the store that it would cost about $30 and take an hour to fix. Thankfully I was consistently given the same information as Xavier was over the top helpful and was almost telling me more than I needed to know. I left and came back in about an hour. I had to wait about 5 minutes, but they had the lens replaced and had no other issues. I know my issue was an easy fix compared to other people's problems, but as I was distracted from watching Finding Dory, I was impressed with their customer service. Both of them were helpful, upfront on what they could do (which depended on the issue), and how much a repair would cost. I appreciate because there are so many businesses that give you little information and then surprise you later with an unexpected bill. read more

I have used you break I fix twice in the last two years. Unfortunately I've never cracked screen in my career as a cell phone user but for some reason my LG G6 I just seem not to have the best luck with it although I love this phone. Both times the customer service was fantastic and the repair spot on!Both times the staff informed me that they have to order that screen for the LG G6 is that's not a part they always have in stock. But in this instance they call me within an hour at work and told me that they actually have the part in stock. I brought the phone over at 2 PM and they said it would take two hours. I came back at four and I could see they were just swamped with customers. They apologized and said will have your phone in an hour we're just running a bit behind. I said don't worry about it I'll just come back tomorrow. If I could give a zero review I definitely would. Just wanted a screen replacement, THATS IT!!! I dropped off phone, went back to pick it up and took it home. Phone didn't turn on and kept vibrating, I drove it back immediately, the guy said he fixed something in the back of the device with non conductive material. Took it home again. Once I got home, it didn't work again, I drove it back, they said they had to order a part. Took it back and dropped it off. Picked it up. Get home and it still doesn't work right. I drive it back, then they say we have to order another part for it. I Leave it there again. Take it home, now its stuck in selfie mode. Take it back. They say we have to order a new device. We go and pick up the new device. Existing SIM card in old phone wasn't even put into the new phone to test it re reconnect it to the network I had to do it myself. Do not go here, whatever the posters say in the lobby....they are not expert device repair specialists. This was about a months time my husband barely had a functioning work phone. What a total joke. Whatever they say they WILL DO, they don't. Worst customer experience ever. Never go back there. EVER. read more
