My Samsung Flip 5 needed a new screen protector, and this is one of the authorized service centers that can do it for free. I called before I came to make sure they could do it, and the guy said "as long as you get here by 5, we can do it today, since we close at 7". When I got there, they did let me know the phone would be ready closer to 6:30 than 6. I agreed, and I gave them my phone. They had to do some checks on it before they accepted it. Then, they took it to be serviced. I was with my husband, so I gave him his phone number so that they could call when it was done. We killed two hours and then made our way back to the store around 6:30. No one called us, per se, but the phone was ready when they said it would be. So far the phone is working great and it's nice to have a new screen protector again that isn't falling off the phone. I'd recommend this place, but make sure you call beforehand so you are not wasting your time. Also, be prepared to be without a phone for a couple of hours. Pretend like it's 1996 haha.. If you don't have someone with you to be your back-up phone, you can walk to Target or a few other places to kill time and shop. You could also walk to the mall across the street. read more

I've paid for phone insurance for as long as I've had a phone. In the past, I've had Asurion send me a replacement device after paying a deductible. This time around, I received an option to have someone come to me to fix the device or go in store for the repair (both options being no cost to me). I dropped my phone in our tile kitchen and cracked the screen. I submitted the claim online on Aug 23 and selected the option to go in person. I chose the location closest to me, being the Ubreakifix store on North Stephanie. I called the store right after I submitted the claim to verify their hours and see if I could make an appointment for Sunday, Aug 25. I was told no appointment was necessary. They are only open 12noon to 5pm on Sundays, so I wanted to make sure I was good. Arrived Sunday after 2pm with my phone. Len was working at the front and got my claim pulled up on her end. I also bought a glass screen protector to be put on after the repair was completed. I was interested in getting a new Otterbox, but unfortunately, they didn't have one available for my type of phone. They do sell some accessories here but not a huge selection. My screen was repaired before they closed. It only took over two hours for them to make my phone look like it was new again! This was my first time having a phone repair done, and I'm just stunned with how easy and quickly this experience was. I was told RJ was the technician who serviced the repair. This was such a simple and seamless experience it's almost too good to be true. But it is. It took just over an hour to get the scary, swollen battery out of my Samsung Galaxy and replaced with a new, OEM one. I appreciate that they use genuine Samsung parts. The location is great, and I ran a couple of errands in the complex while they repaired my phone. They do charge a 3% fee for credit cards, so bring a debit card if you can. After three separate encounters over the past year, I can confidently say that the front desk experience at this location--specifically with the same Asian female employee--is consistently appalling. She is rude, condescending, dismissive, and outright combative. Each time we've dealt with her, she's been unhelpful and lazy, refusing to take even the most basic steps to assist us. When asked for her name, she flatly refused, which speaks volumes about her accountability. This most recent visit was the final straw. My wife and I watched her treat multiple customers with the same disdain and arrogance. She initially refused to call other uBreakiFix by asurion locations to check for a part, instead telling my wife to do the legwork herself. When I asked to speak with a manager, she deliberately ignored the request and began helping other customers who had just walked in--clearly trying to avoid responsibility. Eventually, the manager, Bo, came out and was helpful. However, even while I was calmly explaining the situation to him, she repeatedly interrupted, raised her voice, and became verbally aggressive. I reminded Bo that this wasn't the first time I had brought up her unacceptable attitude--on previous visits, I had voiced similar concerns, and Bo had apologized for her behavior. Yet clearly, nothing has changed. It was obvious she couldn't handle being confronted with the truth about her unprofessionalism, and Bo, once again, did nothing to stop her from escalating the situation. To make matters worse, we were on the phone with Samsung and Asurion at the time, trying to resolve a system issue. Instead of cooperating, with Asurion's directions, the front desk employee actively undermined the process. She claimed that a nearly invisible hairline scratch on the spine of my wife's Galaxy Fold 6 was the reason for the inner screen damage--damage that was actually caused by another uBreakiFix by asurion location the day before (which was closed on Sunday, hence our visit to Henderson). This location is a disgrace to the uBreakiFix by Asurion brand as well as Samsung, Apple and any other company it represents as an authorized repair center. If you value your time, sanity, or customer service, avoid this store at all costs. Never get your screen repaired here I paid 140 for my screen to get repaired 2 days later I drop it from my desk with a case, less then 2 feet, and on carpet. It completely shatters. I go back and explained to them and they don't do nothing about it but try to charge me 140 again for a horrible service they did on my phone. The lady tried to give me $20 off but at that point it's not worth it when they use screens that don't last at all. Let me start by saying if this review was about the customer service, it would be a 5*. Everyone I talked to at this store was helpful and friendly. "Z" went above and beyond to help me out. Except there's one thing. My daughter's zflip 4 was glitching and started getting dead pixels, both of which are covered by warranty package with Samsung (care +). Calling Samsung Care+ resulted in our warranty work being recommended to be performed at Ubreakifix. Ubreakifix is a certified Samsung repair shop. So getting the screen fixed there made sense. After giving them her pin, and having to put the device into developer mode, (ugh) they performed the repair. But in testing the fixed device, the accelerometer wasn't working.... ugh. Another call to samsung care+... phone will be replaced completely. Great. I need to send the glitched phone to Samsung. So I went to pick it up from ubreakifix, and the screen was completely non-functioning. No backlight, nothing. They apologized but it seemed they had broken it completely. It was unusable and not what Samsung would expect for the warranty return... :/ Again, Z was apologetic and tried to be helpful, and tried to be accommodating, but I walked in with a functioning phone screen, and now I had a brick. Z offered to help transfer the phone data from the broken phone to a new one once it arrived. He also offered to update their repair logs to care+ stating that they were the one who broke the screen. He even tried to get the broken screen working an extra time while I waited, but was unsuccessful. The flip z4 phones are pretty fragile, apparently. Seems like they're also problematic to repair. Get the care package for sure if you're considering one. UPDATE! once the replacement phone arrived from care+, I contacted ubreakifix to schedule the data transfer. This was when they explained that they thought there was a fix to get the dead screen working. So I took the brick phone back, and indeed, they were able to get the screen to turn on and work. This allowed us to do the data transfer and get the defective phone ready to send back to Care+. Overall, they were unable to perform the repair I came to them for, but I was able to get a new phone thanks to having purchased the care+ plan. As I stated initially, the employees I talked to were nice and helpful. Hopefully your experience with the technical ability and how your device is handled will be slightly better than mine. Yes, I would bring another broken device here to be fixed if I needed to. read more

Here was my experience please be careful with the information you receive from this store. On or around 2/15/23 I took my broken printer to the store 3/6/23 Since I had not heard from the store I stopped in to ask where they were at on it and I was told that it was not repairable but I could enroll in the home plus and come back in 60 days, pay the $100 deductible and have it repaired or replaced. 6/18 I came back to the store and was greeted by the same employee who then told me I needed to file a claim online or on the phone. I started to do this in the store but was informed by the phone customer service that the documents I submitted needed to be reviewed and nothing would be decided that day. 6/19 I received a general claim denied email so I called to ask for the specifics where they informed me that since this printer had previously been attempted repair this was a problem before coverage was created. I explained what the store employee had suggested to me back on 3/6/23 and they apologized that I was given bad information but the only thing they could do for me would be on new devices or problems. They did feel bad for my situation and offered one months service credit of the three I paid. I also called and emailed this store at 695 N Stephanie but have yet to receive a response asking for the employee name so I could mention them in this review but also a refund of the other two months they sold me on based on inaccurate statements. read more

UPDATE!!! I made my last review on 11/1/22, and it took 27 days for the owner to send me a message and respond. He was nice and apologized, stating it was unacceptable, etc. He provided his phone number, and asked me to call him so he could "make it right". Being that the phone issue was old news (remember he took a month to respond), I told him I would call and we could discuss. This was after I reminded him that "someone hired that manager and he felt perfectly fine treating my wife and I that way. In my opinion, he's just as concerning as the original employee." So I called him as he requested, and left him a voicemail. He never responded or called back. No here it is Jan 3rd in the following year and he still has not responded or called back. I have an iPad that originally had a broken screen. My first issue is each time I bring in the iPad it's a 5-7 day wait time. With this being a work iPad that just really sucks. When the iPad was returned the first time, the home button could not be pressed and required another visit with 5-7 days. Inconvenience but accidents happen Now this is where the 1 star review really comes into play..... Once the iPad was returned it took all of about 2 days for a small crack to appear on the screen. I took it in and they told me this was not under warranty and required another payment. As you can imagine I wasn't happy but did it anyways. After it was fixed they obviously did not test it as it didn't work at all. I contacted them back and they told me they had a bad batch of parts and to take it in to fix it, which I waited another 5-7 days. Now only a few weeks later I have a home button that only works if you click it in right place and cracks all over the screen. Whatever product they are using to replace iPad screens SUCKS!
