I needed my back screen replaced so I found ubreakifix online. I thought it would be maybe a week at most. They took over 3 weeks. I had to call in and remind them they had my phone. I got my phone back and now it doesn't have the Apple logo on the back. I paid a premium priceover to get low quality work. I'll just take it to Apple next time. I had a perfectly good iPhone 14 plus that had never given me a single issue. I went to this store because I had a crack on the back of my iPhone and wanted it fixed before I leave for abroad. They told me that I would need to turn it in for 48 hours to get it fixed. Did not receive my phone back for 52 hours and when I got it back it was completely ruined. My flashlight stopped working, my front camera was blurry, and my phone was super glitchy. I paid $212 for a plastic back to be put on my phone as the replacement. I ended up having to go get an entire new phone because of this place. Huge waste of money, bad customer service, and they WILL ruin your IPhone. Do not bring your devices here. read more

I needed to have a battery replaced on my phone, never having to do this I asked people I trusted. I was told go to uBreakiFix. It was recommended to bring the replacement part(s) in the original packaging unopened and they would use it. So I decided to call first to obtain the cost and repair time. I called and spoke with Mason. I explained what I wanted and that I was told to bring the replacement part for repair. Mason stated I don't know who told you that but we don't use outside parts, it's company policy. As I was sharing again the person who recommended them to me provided that information, the call was disconnected. He had asked for the phone model which I provided so I thought he was looking it up. So I called back, Mason answered I said the call was disconnected and he said did you want to repair information? So he intentionally hung up. I hope there conversations are recorded for training purposes because Mason should not handle incoming phone calls. I will pass on my experience with uBreakiFix. read more

Absolutely DO NOT bring your apple devices here had them "repair" a broken screen on a iPhone 15 pro and they didn't put the gasket back around the screen so when it was raining out water got on the screen and seeped through it, not even 5 days after getting a new screen. they are great at fixing things, but the drop off process is ridiculous. I made an appointment but it really doesn't seem to matter. they take people in the order they come in and its so far taken a half hour to get through two people with four more ahead. they need to adjust their check in /drop off process or maybe just do appointment only. it's just the dumbest system. read more

Dropped off iPhone sx max for screen repair. First they text 1 hour 40 minutes later saying phone is ready. Then call and say phone was not fixed b/c all new screens are defective. They give phone back with old cracked screen and it doesn't work at all, battery was at 70%, now at zero and won't take a charge. Only option is to come back Monday or Tuesday and get fixed when new parts come in. Not ok!!!!! Now no phone for 2-3 days. I am frustrated and very disappointed with this situation and unacceptable service. After 4 days without my sons phone they finally fixed it. It needed the battery pins fixed/soldered, and the motherboard reballed to fix the no touch issue with the new screen. After all that and a new screen it was fixed. Thankfully they only charged me for the new screen part. However we were without the phone for four days! read more

I don't usually bother writing a review in response to a bad experience with a merchant. I usually just blow it off and move on, but I'm making an exception for uBreakiFix. I have a Windows desktop PC that would not boot, so I searched for computer repair near me and uBreakiFix came up in the results. I checked out their website, here are four statements directly from the home page; "Computer Repair in Lansing", "Fast, Reliable Computer Repair", "Your one-stop repair solution for computers and laptops of all kinds.", "Free, no-obligation diagnostic on all computers.". So I made an appointment on the website, specifically for a Windows PC with boot issues. I took the computer in at the appointed time, set it on the counter, and the guy behind the counter said, (Paraphrase) "We don't fix those here, there are a lot of expensive parts in them and there is a lot that can go wrong with them and with the time it takes to troubleshoot and diagnose it it's not worth our time to work on them". So I wasted my time and gas taking the computer to a computer repair shop that doesn't repair computers, I'm not impressed. Unfortunately one star is the lowest rating I can give them, they don't even deserve that. read more

Paid almost $100 to have my PlayStation 4 professionally cleaned and there was still dust and debris and the controller ports, as well as dust on the outside of the consoles ventilation holes. I was amazed at the lack of care to make it look like a professional job after I was told it would be a thorough cleaning in comparison to the $50 cleaning. The turnaround was significantly faster than they told me, which I appreciated, but it definitely shows the job was rushed when they could have simply taken a cloth and wiped down the outside to make sure there wasn't any dust left on PlayStation. read more

They had one of their techs come to fix a simple screen repair, I gave him my phone in completely working condition. I get my phone back, my camera won't work and the phone is unable to detect a sim card. I now have a $900 paper weight thanks to ubreakifix. I had a disaster. These guys are predictably nerds. (Excellent!) They offered to dry my iPhone for free (their competition charges $25+ for the same preliminary service. They said they'd call at a specific time and called on time. As a past business owner, I would hire these guys and recommend them to everyone (including my grandma.):-) My phone could not be fixed. We scheduled an appointment at Best Buy to drop off our sons iPhone 7 for a battery replacement. We arrived for our appointment only to be told they didn't have anyone working that could look at the phone and would be unable to check the phone in for repair because someone had to verify the battery could be replaced...someone had to verify the battery could be replaced when it's a service that you can schedule a drop off appointment for on their website. We called uBreakiFix and not only could they replace the battery the same day in less than an hour but they were $10 cheaper than Best Buy! Everything went great, new battery is working as expected. So I scheduled a repair online through Samsung for a 12pm appointment. I get there and was told that my appointment was not valid but it did show up in the computer. Apparently that slot was overbooked and I was then told I would have to wait another week to have them fix my phone.
