Recently ordered a new key fob. Was told it would be in the following Wednesday. Took almost 3 weeks. When in they were unable to program it after 1-1/2 hours. They still wanted me to pay for it. I refused and the manager agreed with me. Ordered another from Amazon and got it the next day. I was able to program it in less than 5 minutes. Works perfect! read more

I do not recommend this store to change iPad batteries. On Friday I dropped off my iPad to have the battery changed. I was told it would take a couple of days. I called Monday and was told it would be ready Tuesday. On Tuesday I was told it would be ready and I would be called when I could pick it up. No call was received. On Wednesday I called and was told it was not ready but it would be. I received a call and my husband went to pick it up. The store gave my husband an iPad and apologized for breaking the screen and that the screen would be replaced. Upon examination my husband determined it was not my iPad. The store found my iPad but the battery had not been changed. The store had my iPad for 6 days, misplaced it, and had not done the work. I am really disappointed with their performance. read more

Exceptional Customer Service I was trying to find a laptop battery for my kid's computer. Nobody in Lansing, including Batteries Plus (Frandor) had one. But they suggested I try their Grand Rapids store. It was in stock in GR, but when I told them I would have to drive from Lansing to pick it up, they said we'll send it to you. Incompetence, excuses and prevarication seems to be the customer service model here. Called ahead to see if they could replace a battery. They checked the manufacturer, model number and verified they had one in stock and I could get my item back the same day I brought it in. I bring it in only ro find out the battery was actually in stock in a sister store, but they would have it the next morning and I could pick up the unit that afternoon. Called before driving over and received another excuse for why they didn't have the battery yet, but was assured they would have it the next morning and I could pick it up in the afternoon. I drove to the store prepared to hear another excuse the following afternoon. They hadn't even started it yet, saying they thought I was bringing the unit in. They found the unit on a other shelf, had to YouTube how to replace the battery,got it apart and told me they couldn't replace the battery after all, even though the battery they had was listed as the correct one. Unfortunately they also failed to replace the charge port cover and a screw they removed, rendering the unit unusable in the rain. Save your time, blood pressure, a d your money. read more

Replaced an iPad 2 screen while I waited and were extremely informative on the other products and services that they offer. I also needed to replace my cordless drill battery that had died and they suggested, rather than purchasing a replacement, that I rebuild the current one that I have as it would be cheaper and have a longer warranty.
