My son had an appointment at 11AM this morning to have his iPhone repaired. We showed up around 11, door was open and there was one customer in front of us. Unfortunately we were the only ones in the store, and that includes employees. We waited there for 30 minutes, no one ever came out to check either of us in. Asurion (actually uBreakiFix) in Leesburg Village did a great job with my new laptop. Best Buy offered a 4 week turn around and ~$200 but they did recommend uBreakiFix. I called from Best Buy and they waited for me (it was almost closing). Thet did warn that it might be 5 days if they had to order the part, but instead they fixed the power switch. Laptop was ready the next day and they didnt charge me bc they hadnt needed any parts. Not sure how one coukdimprove on that. Friendly cheerful staff too. read more

Went to get my iPhone screen fixed and got offered to get it replaced by the manufacturer screen or a third party screen. Difference in price was 100 but got told the third party screen was lower resolution. When I asked about the specifics and the difference in resolution, they were unable to pull anything up about the difference but employee swore that they could not tell a difference. Took the phone home and noticed a distinguishable grain in the screen and quality of the display especially which got worse as I turned brightness turned down. Could understand that I paid less and got what I paid for but felt lied to by store employee saying he couldn't tell a difference. My recommendation, take your phone repairs to another store. read more

Last week I shattered my Samsung S7 Edge. This phone was relatively expensive when I bought it in the spring of 2017. And not wanting to shell out another $750 on a new Android "whatever" model, I contemplated buying the glass, digitizer, and LCD for $180 online, and just doing the repair myself. The only issue with this is that 99% of replacements you will find online aren't even close to being Samsung OEM quality. Especially when it comes to the impact resistance of the OEM glass, as well as the long term reliability of the LCD. So I decided to seek out a nearby "repair" store here on Yelp. And I found UBREAKIFIX, which had nothing but 5 star reviews. I called them first to see if they had the parts, and to get an estimate on cost. I spoke to Sarah via phone, and she was pleasant, professional and knowlegable. She advised me that they did in fact have the parts, and approximately how long the repair would take. And also reminded me of when they closed, so I could properly time my trip in from WV. When I arrived at the location I met Sarah, and the manager Konah, and they were great. Konah answered all my questions, pulled the parts, took my phone, and set my expectations accordingly for when I should return to pick it up. This particular repair is a major one. One of the longest for any given cell phone. And it took them three hours. Which in my opinion is fast. I could have done it, but honestly it probably would have taken me three DAYS. Simply not worth it using iffy aftermarket parts. UBREAKIFIX installed a genuine 3 part OEM unit (glass, digitizer, LCD). They did it quickly, and most importantly, they did it CORRECTLY. My phone now looks and performs exactly the way it did the day I purchased it. For under $300. Again, this was a major repair. and If you are thinking "damn, that's kinda steep", try pricing a sealed, brand new "old stock", Internationally Unlocked S7 Edge these days. I found exactly ONE, and the guy wanted over $1K for it. The cost was well worth it, considering my time saved in having to deal with configuring and learning a new phone. Overall, my experience was exactly as the other reviewers here on Yelp have had. An extremely POSITIVE one. I rarely post a review on Yelp, but when I find a business that provides a valuable service, and does so with courtesy, professionalism, and integrity, I think people should know about it. If I could give 0 stars I would.... 1st day we came to fix a cracked screen. Came to pick it up, paid almost $300 for "fixing" it. The camera had fingerprints with glue all over, and there were broken pieces inside the phone shaking around. Brought it back the second day to get it fixed, got it back and I'm the same crappy condition. 3rd day we come back for them to replace the camera... gets it back and it's not working at all..... Now I have to bring it back a 4 time coming from WV... my lawyer will be contacting this company shortly.... Didn't want to refund me. It's a scam do not recommend. read more
