Called to see how much it would be to replace my sons iPad screen. I didn't know what generation it was and had to give them the model number instead. They quoted me and said they had the replacement screen in stock. I dropped it off and they said give them 24 hours. I thought they said they would call when it was done, but didn't. I may have assumed they would call. So I called on the 2nd day and they said it was fixed and ready to be picked up. Today I picked up the iPAd. The screen is perfect! I'm so happy with the work they did. The screen broke with gorilla glass and a chunky foam case. The repair was more than I'd like to have spent, but definitely cheaper than replacing the iPad. After speaking with the phone insurance company, apparently when they replace a screen with a non-Apple part, it causes issues. They sent a new phone but now the screen protector I bought at uBreakiFix isn't good. This review would be completely different had they told me. Don't waste your time here. I booked two separate appointments here for battery replacements using the website and apparently the employees feel the website is a joke, and so is booking an early evening appointment due to their inability to abide by the scheduled time. It's like the episode of Seinfeld when Jerry rents a car, "You know how to take the reservation you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation and that's really the most important part of the reservation - the holding...." Plus the humorous part of this place is after being pawned off by the first employee attempting to check us in, after getting a phone call, two "techs" came back to attempt to check us in. When they told us "we need the check to see if we have to parts" and 3 minutes later came back together to tell us they did. They explained "we might not be able to get these repairs completed today because we're like 11 device still back there waiting to be fixed." I'm wondering why it takes two people to check in a customer, and if you're so "back up", shouldn't one of you get your ass back to work and that backup up of repairs that you have created?!? We left. Booked repairs with the Apple store. If you choose to bring your device here. Be early in the morning or their excuses & delays will cause you to wait longer. And avoid their website, as these employees disregard it as a tool to have good customer service, it doesn't ensure your parts will be in stock even though it asks which device your wanting repairs on, and they really don't care if they've wasted your time. read more

After having a terminally weak battery in my phone I was sent to uBreakiFix to be repaired. I was welcomed by a friendly front desk and told my phone would be ready in 2 hours. Don't take your device to uBreakiFix!!! This location is a joke. (Before you read, notice the business owner only responds to Yelp posts that pat him on the back. He doesn't have the emotional intelligence or ability to respond to people he fell short in providing what his company promises.) To make a long story short. I took my iPad Pro with a broken screen in on March 15. They claimed they could fix it for $381. They had a significant problem following up with me. They didn't hit their committed dates for the repair. Then they disappeared and locked the store due to Covid with my device "locked"/confiscated in the store for two months. They had other options to meet their commitments but opted to screw customers. The number they had on their answering machine to call was the owners. I left several messages but he wouldn't return a call. I ended up having to go and buy a refurbished unit so i could do my job. That cost me over $400. I called corporate headquarters for the store franchise. They apologized and said they would contact the owner. They didn't provide any follow up with me about my "taken and kept" (over $1200 iPad) until I called them again. The owner wouldn't return the franchise HQ calls either until the regional manager called him. The store owner then called me and made lame excuses about his "wife is a nurse". He was "watching the kids due to Covid" (sounds like a personal problem) then lied that he didn't get any of the messages. He then said he would fix it free of charge due to the inconvenience and the fact I had to purchaser a refurbished unit (that wouldn't hold a charge over 90 min). He called me a week later on the day he promised it to me and said he didn't have to fix it because it just turned on once he plugged it in. I got there picked it up, took it home. It wasn't working. Of course he claimed innocent and told me to find another place to fix it. Fed up i did. It cost me $500 but i had it fixed and back in my hands in less than a week. I called the Florida HQ for the franchise. They offered me $200 to "help" offset the $900 i spent due to their incompetence. They thought that was more than "fair." That took another month. I even wrote a letter to the CEO who obviously doesn't care about his company. Earlier this week I got the $200 check. So from start to finish, this took 3 months and tons of my time. This is not a reputable company. They DO NOT care about the customers. My guess is they will go out of business. All shoddy businesses do. Don't risk it happening while they may have your device in for repair. You won't get it back is my guess. I did some research now that I've learned unfortunately how bad this company is. My dog laid on my iPad while I had it plugged in and charging. The lightening connected sheared off, leaving nothing to pull out. Googled, use eyeglass screw driver, large sewing needle - super glue on a stick(don't ever do). Took to local Best Buy, "we don't fix, just upgrade". My son in CA texted me, try uBreakiFix. What the hell thought I'd try. Zach looked at, oh no did you try the super glue fix? This might be a problem! Zach came back in about 8 minutes. Plugged it in, showed me it was charging. WHAT? Had a small piece break off/get stuck in the charging port of my iPhone. Went T-Mobile and they were unable to pick it so they told me to hop next door. The gentlemen took my phone and said be right back. About 15 seconds later he walked out with it repaired and told me to have a nice day. No charge. Blown away to say the least as I figured that 15 second would cost me at least $20-30 if not more. read more

I had my iPhone screen repaired here and then later found out it invalidates the Applecare agreement. It caused a reoccurring message that it wasn't able to verify it was an Apple screen. I then took it to a verified iPhone repair, which I didn't even know there was such a thing and luckily I was able to get it fixed. But the painful part to me was I had to pay full price twice. Additionally when the verified repair place fixed my phone they pointed out that the screen had not been glued back on so it wasn't water resistant. If the repair people at this place had told me that this Apple problem was a risk I wouldn't have used them. read more
