Update 8/11/25: Issue 1: Thank god for asurion because I would have never gotten my diagnostic fee back without Kadrian the case manager. Kadrian reached out to the owner of this establishment about refunding me and they denied to refund me without an explanation even though they didn't give me a diagnosis as to what was wrong with my PlayStation 5. Issue 2: Which brings me to my next issue, I just found out that Ubreakifix, upon putting my unit back together, they didn't 1. Put my side plate covers securely on and 2. They forgot to put the power button back in the unit. I have taken my claim up with Kadrian the case manager and he is reaching out to the store owner once again to "rectify" the unprofessionalism and lack of detail and will get back to me. If I have to escalate this further, I will. This type of business is quite atrocious. Issue 3. I have never seen anything more unprofessional in my life. Conclusion: I would try your luck somewhere else because this business is not honest nor professional. Come here at your own risk. 7/28/25: The customer service was professional and pleasant. However bringing my ps5 slim in due to a surge issue was different. Even though it's posted they can repair the issue or at least find the issue through professional troubleshooting. I ended up paying a $60 diagnostic fee without any clue as to what is going on with my ps5. It was a "sorry it's beyond my troubleshooting capabilities", which is in and of itself a letdown. I could understand not being able to repair it, but not being able to troubleshoot the issue and having the unit for 3 days is a bit much, but then again.. this is from the customers POV. Can't say I'm satisfied, but who would be considering the outcome. read more

Needed to get my Iphone fixed and got an appt for 6:30 PM. Arrived early and the staff, Scott, took care of me even though I was early. He had it fixed in an hour (actually went out of his way to get it done seeing how they closed at 7 PM). Really great service and I would recommend this company without pause. I broke my screen on my IPhone 16 Pro Max, I filed a insurance claim through Verizon and was directed to this store. The customer service upon entering the store was friendly and helpful, after dropping my phone off they were done within 2 hours and I'm highly satisfied with their quality of work. The insurance in definitely worth it as I paid nothing for the phone repair. read more

My laptop locked up with a voice saying that the computer was locked and not to turn it off. I tried to turn it off anyway but couldn't. I tried several things but was unable to remove this threatening message. The message looked legitimate with a number to call but I had my doubts so I immediately took my laptop to "U Break I Fix. " The tech knew exactly what to do and unlocked my computer in a matter of minutes. The techs there also fixed my wife's phone in the past. Today, I brought my Galaxy Fold 6 in to have the inner screen repaired. The outter screen had a small crack in it, but it was totally functional. Still, they would not repair my inner screen unless I also agreed to repairing the outter screen. I left the phone and came back 4 hours later (I was not contacted, thought they said they emailed me). Now, they tell me that they cannot repair the phone because it didn't meet Samsung's standards, but NOW - MY OUTTER SCREEN IS BROKEN TOO. This effectively rendered the phone 100% worthless. To make matters worse, they said that they HAD fixed it, but when it didn't pass the Samsung quality check, they had to undo the work they did?!?! That is bat shit crazy. Samsung wasn't paying for my repair - I was, and I don't give a damn what they think about the quality. I don't know what the bloody hell happened today, but I was forced to go to AT&T to buy a new phone when I still owed a LOT of money on the one this business broke. I've lost photos and data and a lot of money. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Fixed a problem very quickly. Had an international phone with a broken back and replaced ir in less time than quoted. Super friendly and even referred somewhere else when they couldn't do something. Can't offer discounts on anything but third party products and not genuine. Be warned that international devices can't be uploaded and may get error signals even when parts we genuine. read more

I had to get my phone screen replaced just under a year ago. I was out of state and got it replaced at a uBreakiFix in Pittsburgh (wrote a review of that location already). Recently the same thing happened - my phone was fine one minute, black screen the next, but was clearly operating (vibrated when I plugged it in, etc.). I should mention that you should NOT be like me - I hadn't backed up some pretty irreplaceable photos, so this was emotional. I brought it to uBreakiFix in Wilmington and they confirmed if it was the screen that it would be covered under warranty (yay!). I was told it would likely be repaired within 90 minutes and that they'd call me. The person who checked me in was super nice and reassuring (double yay!). 90 minutes passed. Two hours passed. Three hours passed. No call. I finally called. And was told it didn't seem to be the screen and was likely the motherboard meaning my data couldn't be saved. They said they'd keep trying to fix the screen and call back. Another 24 hours later they still hadn't called so I called again and they said we were at a standstill and it's the motherboard. I picked up my phone, pretty upset at the loss of data. But I took it for a second opinion at another shop in town. Within 3 hours they told me it was the screen. Another two hours later it was fixed. No data lost. What should have been covered under warranty under uBreakiFix cost me $400+ since uBreakiFix determined it wasn't an issue with my screen. I called uBreakiFix and it took a few days to be able to speak with the manager (also super nice). He basically said it was unlikely that I'd get reimbursed for what I'd paid but he gave me the corporate number. Corporate was surprisingly great. They didn't refund the $400+ I'd paid for the repair done by the other shop, but they sent me a refund check for the original amount that I'd paid for the repair last year. Good enough for me. I'm not intending to trash this shop and they do have positive reviews. Again, the people working there were super nice. But my intention in posting is to caution people to get a second opinion IF you're told by uBreakiFix that your device isn't repairable or isn't repairable in the way you'd like it to be repaired. Really, you should get a second opinion for anything major that doesn't sit right with you, uBreakiFix or otherwise. I hate to think that I could have listened to their advice and lost my data by either paying to replace the motherboard or just trashing the phone altogether. read more

I was referred to this store by the Samsung Customer Service. The last time I had a problem with my phone I had to send it by mail to have repaired because the closest service center was in Charlotte, so I'm really happy to see that they now have service in the Wilmington area, This time it wasn't my phone that had the problem, it was my wife's watch, it wouldn't pair with her phone. I dropped the phone off around 10:30 AM and they called me with an estimate by 12 PM, Since watchers are not covered by my insurance, and I picked it up at 1:30 PM. I dropped my phone trying to get a caterpillar off of my leg (long story...) needless to say, I was able to break my screen in two places while on vacation, of course. We returned to Wilmington, got right in with you break I fix, they had the parts that I needed. I was able to have breakfast with my lovely wife while he fixed my phone. I had a Samsung phone that I was locked out of. I could not remember the email address or password which was preventing me from factory resetting the phone. The rep at The Computer Warriors told me "it cannot be fixed and it's basically a paperweight." I decided to look directly on the Samsung website for assistance and found Ubreakifix on their list of certified agents. Within 24 hours of taking my phone to them it was unlocked and factory reset.
