I absolutely love this place. They have the best deal for unlimited red light therapy and infrared saunas compared to local competitors. I have been going there for years and then stopped due to my gym having a regular sauna. And now I'm back and will continue my membership even after the gyms reopen. You just can't beat infrared saunas and red light therapy. This place is clean. You get to watch tv while in the sauna. They provide you with the appropriate towels you'll need. I do miss the robes they used to let you wear :(. Parking usually isn't an issue. They're located within a plaza. Customer service is nice. I definitely recommend this place. I thought the infrared saunas were clean, they provide you towels. You can call ahead to reserve a session. They offer great deals for memberships based on usage and for couples as well. I want to start by saying, Thank you so much Cop A Tan for moving locations!!! This location is so much easier to get to, and to find parking in your personal lot. The inside of the salon is a lot bigger as well, love it! I've been a member of Cop A Tan for about 3 years now, if not more. I have the lowest priced membership. Costs me $24.99 a month. There's no start up fee. I get to go in the basic beds, which still get me a nice tan. And occasionally I'll upgrade to a level 5 bed (bronzing bed) to help boost my color. It's $5 to upgrade one time. And when I have no need to be tan, or its summer time, I always put my membership on freeze. When you put it on freeze, your bill goes down to $5 a month. And when you decide to unfreeze your account all of that credit goes towards your account. It's awesome and definitely the best deal you'll find in the South Bay. As far as customer service goes, the girls working are always extremely helpful. When I first start tanning and I need to build a base, I always ask how many mins I should go in, and get their advise. They are always really nice and smiley and have no problems answering any questions that I have. Which is great, because no one wants to deal with someone catty and impatient at the front desk!! I was looking for an infrared sauna in the South Bay and discovered UCATAN. I called and spoke to Sarah who was very friendly and helpful. I made an appointment and came in and met all the girls who work there. Everyone was amazing as they explained in detail how it the sauna worked as let me tried a session before signing up for a membership. Not only was I impressed with the staff, but how clean the place is. Everything from the sauna, entrance, bathrooms, and common areas were spotless. I sat in the infrared sauna for about 45 minutes and enjoyed the magazines and television to pass the time. They provide you with clean towels both inside the sauna and when you are finished. The sauna itself was in good working condition and did it's job. When I was finished I signed up for a membership and have happily been going back at least 3 times and had the same amazing service and cleanliness so the good thing is it's always consistent. Question- why is this place charging for the full spa experience when the beds are old and facilities are janky? There are no mirrors or trash cans in the tanning rooms and the beds start on their own timers, very annoying when you need to put on lotion, you are timed and if you are too late, you have those lights blasting you with no eyewear protection. My room #5 - the door isn't even painted. If this place is in the middle of a renovation, then when will it be done? I saw no progress during my month membership. I literally pay less at Bronze Buns, where everything is new. read more

Staff is awesome. The booth tans are pretty light so if you're picking between two shades I say go with the darker shade.

Positives: really friendly and helpful staff and it's very clean. Negatives: Versa tan doesn't last as long as it does at other tanning salons. When I use their Versa my tan only lasts about 3 days...never had this issue at other salons. They charge an extra dollar to do the darkest level, and their pre and post spray options are not included and pretty expensive. I signed up for a 6 month contract, but I'm planning on cancelling after and going back to Sun Studio when my contract is up. read more
