I have been a member at S&B since about 2013 - I recently after having my 2nd born had to have both of my hips replaced - since then I have racked some credits (think 6 or 7) reached out to the Redondo location to ask if I can combine some to use on full leg - as it's really still hard for me to bend - and the reply and service I have been provided is crazy awful. It's heart breaking almost - it's been part of my routine- But life got in the way and now they tell Me I should Cancel but I'll lose all my credits $$ spent. Just super shocked this is how the business is now run - to not support women- not sure if I just got the wrong person/ but when I asked to speak to a manager it took 3 weeks for me to call back to remind them I was waiting to talk with her .. just feels like a red flag as I have been to NY/ Austin/ all over LA / OC and never have felt bothered like this read more

I've been a member at this location for a couple of years and I use my membership for spray tans only (I'm sure the sugaring is great, I just am happy with standard shaving for hair removal). Lily is the best! It's easy to make an appointment via texting the front desk. The whole process is very quick and easy. Any issue I've had with tanning has always been user error (like I came in with a sunburn) or didn't prep my skin the few days before by moisturizing (make sure not to put on lotion or oils day-of! ) The best results come when you also put in the work to properly prep. Considering that each spray tan cost $69 I definitely expected better service and just an overall better environment. It is a beautiful spot, but I don't think I've ever seen spray tan salons charge for every single item that you use like hair, ties or makeup removers... it's just that's really strange for such a high price. I've definitely paid less and gotten much better amenities. I personally wouldn't come back because of these reasons. I think there are more affordable yet still luxurious tanning salons. I've been coming here for YEARS and stopped consistently coming after constantly feeling like I was being rushed in and out of my appointments. I am leaving to go out of the country for the next month and my usual sugaring lady at another place was out of town, so I made an appointment here for a Brazilian and I wish I never did. First off, I will admit that I was was 5 minutes late, but the that fact that they can't even accommodate for someone being late by a few minutes since they squeeze together other appointments/staff lunch breaks so closely together is extremely disappointing. We are all human and almost all other places I go to have a minimum 5 minute grace period. I even have a voicemail left on my phone left at 12:45pm for my 12:40pm appointment just as I was walking into the store for my service as proof, and for whatever reason my sugaring lady made me feel rushed, horrible, and told me I was late by 12 minutes, which is absolute B.S. Next, the website wouldn't let me add an additional sprinkle since it only let me book one service, but it has never been an issue whenever I've come here or gone anywhere else since it LITERALLY takes less than a 1 minute. I'd understand if I was asking for a sprinkle or other service that would've taken more time, but I have been sugaring for years and years and never had issues adding this area on last minute since it is the smallest and quickest area. Since I was being rushed out, she wouldn't even take an extra 30 seconds to take care of my add-on, and I was completely shocked. They told me to use sit there and wait to see if they can "potentially" squeeze me in between clients without any guarantee. I left and luckily found another nearby sugaring place just a few minutes away that was able to easily accommodate my extra 1 minute service. I myself run a local business and customers satisfaction should ALWAYs be the priority. I will no longer be returning to Sugared + Bronzed, no matter how desperate I am for a service. I will most definitely be telling others about this negative experience as well so they don't go through what I went through yesterday. We shouldn't be left to feel ashamed or blamed for anything after a service we come to get to make ourselves feel better. Do better please. read more

I love this location! I've been lucky and have gotten the same esthetician the majority of the time. She is so great! Since day 1 Indiana has always made me feel comfortable.... I'm a curvier woman and never felt any judgement or embarrassment coming here. The membership makes monthly visits so much easier and convenient. Nothing but good things to say! The ONLY thing that is hard, which isn't their fault, is the parking lot is really small. FIRST TIMER HERE!! and I want to say how happy and satisfied I am with my whole entire experience. I was very skeptical very nervous and very, very scared. My coworkers are the ones that convinced me because they highly recommend sugared + bronze. Just let me tell you peer pressure is a B word lol. I'm very self-conscious about myself. I am a plus size beauty and I've seen a lot of videos of waxers not making their clients feel comfortable. That was not the case at South Bay Sugar + bronze, my waxer that I had she was amazing. Worst experience ever. I'm spotty and orange! Went in for a spray tan in preparation for an important public speaking engagement and gala this weekend for work as I'm wearing a very expensive strapless dress. Well I'll let the pictures of my results speak for themselves. It all seemed rushed and to add insult to injury they added a nice 18% tip for ruining my life. The amount of stress, loss of time and money this decision has caused me is beyond infuriating. Had to hunt down a long sleeve gown to cover every square inch of my body as the disaster is visible from head to toe (which was incredibly hard). Had to settle on a cheaper basic gown that I had to pay a premium price to get altered by tomorrow as my flight leaves Thursday morning. So upset about this.
