Specifically, Jasmine. She's either the receptionist or one of the office staff in charge of answering calls. In short: I just wanted to refill some prescriptions. However, in my case, Jasmine had an overwhelming need to let me know that her opinion of right and wrong. The reality? No one cares! Take the d@mn request and wish me a nice day (and mean it). Take the chip off your shoulder, "hon". Expect the conversation to escalate if you continue to feel a need to talk over me (or whoever, because I'm sure this isn't the first time you've thrown massive attitude to a caller). We're not only patients, we're customers as well. If you don't want to be there, get another job. My initial visit w/Optum was fairly good, but todays conversation just took my earlier prepared review "right off the rails". If there's a time to look past poor service, this isn't one of them (IMO). It's really unfortunate that the bad apple(s) ruin the whole bunch. So I left a positive review the other day because my 2 experiences with this place were good. TODAY…read morenot so much. The girl in the front really put me off. I called to ask if they can do labs and testing she said YES. She said on the phone they could do a blood draw and test for potassium overload. When I got there she said I needed to be evaluated and the dr. Would decide if I needed to be tested. I ask how long would results take and she said 3 to 5 days it goes to a third party lab. So NO YOU DON'T DO LABS!! If you lie to me once you don't get a second chance. I will be looking somewhere else for my urgent care needs. Training is key. UPDATE: The response isn't what I was told. It wasn't a miscommunication problem. Your girl, I came in contact with needs training. She is the first person the public comes in contact with. I don't remember her name but I remember her attitude. I ask specifically if you did labs and testing her answer was NO we send it to a third party. So Instead of leaving an advertisement for your business in the response you should use your time to train your staff. I don't need to discuss this further you know what you need to do.

I have low bone density and am prescribed an Evenity injection once per month. At my appointment, I was given a warning document for a completely different medication. This level of miscommunication between the doctor and nursing staff is unacceptable. Had I not questioned it, I could have received the wrong injection -- which is very concerning. Although I tried to move past that incident, I later received a prerecorded call cancelling my second dose (scheduled one month later) because I had "missed required lab work." I was never instructed to complete any lab tests prior to my second injection. This lack of communication directly impacted my treatment. Overall, this has been a very troubling experience. Patients should not have to double-check basic medical instructions to ensure their safety. Please be cautious, ask questions, and advocate for yourself or your loved ones -- especially if they cannot do so on their own.

The pharmacy is either super empty or super full depending on when we go, but it's convenient that's it's in the same building. The flu clinic is also downstairs so you can get your flu shot while you wait. They always have stickers for my kids and the nurses and doctors are always attentive. It's also very clean and tidy and quiet. The parking is hard. We always leave early to allow time to find parking. It's just always full (parking garage and the outside parking). This location is small so if you need more specific services/ procedures (ex. PT, allergist) you have to go elsewhere (we go to Downey). Overall, I'm able to do a lot in one stop for myself and my kids.

He explained what was going on, what to expect and what I was doing that could make things worse. They gave me a steroid pill right there in the office - no need to go to the pharmacy! And they observed me after I took the pills to make sure I didn't have a reaction. It was actually a good thing that Exer didn't work out!

They did X-rays and was told the radiologist wasn't in and they'd confirm with me today if there is a fracture. I've called twice today and still they tell me the report is not back yet. I am baffled. This is supposed to be URGENT care. The receptionist just told me that they could have it ready tomorrow. I have sons who have had fractures and the urgent care place I went to were able to tell me right then and there. I will likely take her to my usual place today and what a waste of time, money and energy spent here.

It's on the smaller side, but they still manage to pack in a good variety of options. You'll find fresh fruit, tamales, tacos, pastries, peanuts, and refreshing aguas frescas. One of the highlights for me was Karen's pupusas--definitely worth stopping for! It's not a huge market, so don't expect a ton of vendors, but it's convenient, quick to walk through, and perfect for grabbing a bite or a snack during the day. They're there every Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., so it's a great little midday stop if you work nearby or are visiting Kaiser.

In my case, it took me over 2 hours because I had two concurrent exams inside the machine, so I was charged 6 dollars, but it's a small price to pay to save a life through the MRI. The facility itself wasn't bad, only there was one receptionist who seems to be annoyed working there, questioning me if I have an appointment. I arrived on the dot. After finding me, she doesn't even apologize but hands me the clipboard to fill out the information. My appointment was at 11:15. However I was able to go into the machine at around 12:20 PM. However, you are probably wondering why then, is this review still four yelp stars. Well, I'll tell you. The machine is as comfortable as they can make it, being lit with good airflow. However, I had to be inside the machine for 2 hours. Longer than normal as I need an examination of my cervical and lumbar region. However, the MRI machine is more claustrophobic than I thought. When doing my cervical exam, the ceiling was almost right up to my face. If it weren't for good air flow, I would've probably panicked. I closed my eyes throughout. Once they sent me deeper inside the machine to get my lumbar examined, the ceiling was only a tiny bit higher which made all the difference. I got used to being in the machine. However, I would like to thank LOURDES for being my technician. She made me feel very welcomed and at ease throughout the process. She was very reassuring, and the fact that she is the first person named Lourdes that I have met. Coincidentally, I prayed to our Lady of Lourdes in France a week before asking for some Lourdes water, which cures ailments. What are the coincidences that this technician was named Lourdes? She was also a pro at putting in the bolus of contrast, as I felt 0/10 pain. I didn't even feel the needle going in. She talked to me on the microphone every step of the way before it moved, which was reassuring. She is probably the BEST technician I've ever experienced. She should definitely be recognized for her efforts. Her bedside manner alone raises this facility from one star to four stars. It is incredible. Thanks to the MRI, I was able to get a quick diagnosis within 12 hours, even though she told me 2-3 days. I am able to quickly make an appointment with a surgeon in order to get to the bottom of my ailment.
