So I left a positive review the other day because my 2 experiences with this place were good. TODAY not so much. The girl in the front really put me off. I called to ask if they can do labs and testing she said YES. She said on the phone they could do a blood draw and test for potassium overload. When I got there she said I needed to be evaluated and the dr. Would decide if I needed to be tested. I ask how long would results take and she said 3 to 5 days it goes to a third party lab. So NO YOU DON'T DO LABS!! If you lie to me once you don't get a second chance. I will be looking somewhere else for my urgent care needs. Training is key. UPDATE: The response isn't what I was told. It wasn't a miscommunication problem. Your girl, I came in contact with needs training. She is the first person the public comes in contact with. I don't remember her name but I remember her attitude. I ask specifically if you did labs and testing her answer was NO we send it to a third party. So Instead of leaving an advertisement for your business in the response you should use your time to train your staff. I don't need to discuss this further you know what you need to do. read more

Had a poor experience here. The front desk staff was rude and unwelcoming. Overall, the environment felt cold and distant. When I asked a question, I was simply told the answer would be in my results at the end of the visit, which felt dismissive. I also felt uncomfortable by the front desk staff's demeanor, including smirking that made me feel mocked. I'd rather not go into further detail, but overall it was a very unpleasant experience. Wait time was horrible, I arrived at 3pm my appt was at 3:15 and I was attended at 4:30pm! Waited over an hour and a half! Doctor rushed the visit, she physically hurt me in the process and wasn't very gentle. This was, without question, the absolute worst urgent care experience I've ever had. My wife and I visited this urgent care on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at approximately 1:00 PM while visiting California from New Jersey due to a medical emergency. We came here expecting compassion, professionalism, and basic human decency. Instead, the woman working at the front desk greeted us with an incredibly rude, dismissive, and hostile attitude. Rather than trying to help, she made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in. I am not from this area, and I rarely write negative reviews. In fact, I generally don't leave bad reviews unless my experience is genuinely that poor. Unfortunately, this was probably the most unpleasant experience I have ever had at any medical facility. No one seeking urgent medical care should ever be made to feel the way we did. What made the experience even more upsetting was that she appeared to mock us while we were trying to explain why we needed urgent medical care. Being treated with disrespect when you're scared, stressed, and seeking medical help is completely unacceptable. After several rude interactions, I finally told her that she was being rude and asked her to please change her attitude toward us--and toward anyone else visiting this facility. Only after I confronted her did her attitude improve, and she became more respectful. Patients should never have to ask a front desk employee to treat them with basic courtesy and professionalism, especially during a medical emergency. The front desk is the first impression of any medical facility, and this employee failed in the most important part of her job: treating patients with empathy, respect, and professionalism. I sincerely hope management reviews who was working the reception desk on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at approximately 1:00 PM and addresses this behavior. One employee can leave a lasting impression on patients and damage the reputation of an entire clinic. After our visit, I read through many of the online reviews. I noticed that management appears to respond to many of the positive, five-star reviews, while numerous negative reviews receive no response at all. I sincerely hope that isn't the case with this review because there is no meaningful way for any business to improve if it chooses to acknowledge only praise while overlooking criticism and genuine patient concerns. The most valuable feedback often comes from those who had a poor experience, and listening to those patients is how trust is built and real improvements are made. Gave this one little piece of metal, called splint, due to a finger sprain. Everything went well. Until 2 weeks later, they just bill me $600 without any notification. Surprise bill. Care quality was good but took too long as I was told to wait in a room by myself for 20+ minutes. The room went dark because the light is sensitivity based. I've been going to this urgent care since I moved to cypress. I am very disappointed in the care they offered me the other day, which wasn't like the other times I had gone there. I had gone to check my wrist because of a mass on the side of it that was hurting. The medical assistants were great, it's the doctor I have an issue with. I'm not sure what her name is but she has brown hair and she's on the older side. My friend had also gone there recently and had a negative experience with this specific doctor. After explaining what was wrong with my wrist, she was asking what I wanted to do about it and if I wanted an x ray. If I had known what was wrong with it and known the solution, I wouldn't have come. She didn't even care to tell me what could be wrong with my wrist or anything, all she said was "I don't know what time it is, but either you can get an x ray, or I can give you information for a hand surgeon" a hand surgeon???? I don't even know what's wrong with my wrist! Let alone if I need surgery! Overall it wasn't a good experience, and she seemed rushed, even though there wasn't anyone there. So, I paid $30 for her to tell me absolutely nothing and for me to go to another doctor. She had mentioned to my friends mother that she would be better with her patients, but it doesn't seem like she's putting in that effort. I guess they just make anyone a doctor nowadays. Today I visited this location and had a very disappointing experience. The staff member who first attended me was unprofessional, showed no empathy, and demonstrated very poor medical knowledge. Most concerning is that I was not seen by a doctor but by an assistant who did not even perform a physical examination. He simply listened briefly and prescribed medication based only on what I said. The entire visit lasted about two minutes. This urgent care used to have professional and compassionate staff, but unfortunately the quality of care has significantly declined. I had an 11:15 appointment and wasn't seen until 12;30. I had fallen and had a very swollen hand and pain in my lower back. I was told that my wrist had arthritis and my upper chest rib was broken. I was given a wrist splint even though I kept saying that my wrist wasn't the problem. They didn't treat either of my problems but told me that there were problems in other areas where I had no pain. It felt like he had already made up his mind before we could fully explain what was going on. Even without insurance, this place was the most affordable urgent care around, they are very upfront with their pricing and explain everything and treat you like a person not just another number. I was having an issue that might have required an x-ray and lab onsite. First, this place has plenty of parking. Second, I walked in and was immediately greeted by the receptionist. They called my name before I even finished filling out my info. They checked my vitals, took my sample and had me wait in a room for the results, while I finished filling out my online form. The receptionist even came back to the room to see if I needed any help filling it out. The PA came in and spoke to me about my concerns and their findings. We got a game plan going, he gave me my prescription and I was done. I think I only spent about 30 minutes there, if that. I will definitely be going back there if I have any other issues. read more

This urgent care is amazing. I had to wait but boy was it worth it. My daughter had her toe spliced by a heavy metal door. I immediately took her here and they took care of her. First, she got a stuffed monkey. I mean, if that isn't the way to make a kid feel at ease, I don't know what it. Second, all the staff were incredibly kind, caring, and considerate of my daughter. We were seen in a timely manner. They didn't have the right size immobilizer for her but their Lakewood location did. When we drove over there, they had it ready to go for us and put it on her right away. Lakewood or Cerritos, you consistently have my business. The check-in process is seamless; you simply input your information on a tablet. The nurses promptly call you to assess your vitals, and the nurse practitioners and doctors focus on finding solutions, not excuses. In one visit, I've had X-rays, COVID and RSV tests, a urine test, and prescriptions sent to my pharmacy all completed efficiently. It's nearly impossible these days to get a sameday appointment with my doctor, let alone address a specific concern. This place truly prioritizes speed and solutions. I can't say enough wonderful things about Urgent Care Pro in Cypress, CA. From the minute I walked in with severe muscle spasms in my back, I was well taken care of. The facility is very clean. The receptionist saw how much pain I was in and insisted I sit down, and she came to me with the paperwork I needed to fill out and to gather my insurance and id, instead of making me stand at the front desk. Dr. Stephanie Valenzuela treated me, and she was wonderful. I was the first person there right before 8 AM. They made me wait for two hours saying that more people came after me?! I strained my knee and all the PA did was talk to me for less than two minutes ?! they took an x-ray after waiting for one hour, and now I get a bill that they even charge For GAIT training therapy $55 to my insurance when all they did was to move my leg up and down which is part of examination They build the insurance $685 but thank God Blue Shield negotiated the total but for sure I will never come back here ! read more

Very minimal wait as this is a big facility and is well organized. The receptionist was very pleasant as were the rest of the staff. I've been to this location twice with two different kids. I chose to come here because we have Kaiser and this location is closer to our home. Both times we were in and out in half the time it would take at Kaiser. The first time we went we took my 10 year old daughter. The PA was a woman (can't remember her name). If I had reviewed this place after the first time, I would've have it 5 stars. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The second time was a different story. We went in on Friday 6/2. When my 14 year old got called back in, I asked if we (me and my 10 year old) should come in as well. The nurse said I could come in but I'd have to leave my 10 year old in the lobby by herself. Um, that's a hard no. So I told her I would just let me 14 year old go in by herself. Then she said she could stand in the hallway inside because the room was small. The room was not that small that my 10 year old wouldn't fit. There were 2 chairs, she could've just sat on my lap. I understand following protocol but this whole situation was just plain stupid. What parent would want to leave their kid in the lobby by themselves? Use your brain and make choices based on the situation. That's what smart people do. I guess they don't teach you that in LVN school. The worst part is that the nurse was so rude with her tone of voice. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, it actually did. The PA (male, I don't remember his name) came in. He was just ok. When I asked questions he answered them condescendingly. He had a Narcissistic attitude. He told me that ligaments and tendons are the same thing. Um, no. Be careful how you speak to people because they may have more knowledge than you assume them to have. I will say, after we were done with those two clowns we got to hang with the x-ray tech. He is a gem. I've encountered him twice now and he was nothing but kind, patient and welcoming both times. As I was leaving the second time I visited this place I thought maybe it was just me perceiving the PA and nurse to be worse than they were. My kids got in the car and talked about how uncomfortable they were here because of their attitudes. Luckily, it was a lesson for my kids as I explained it is important to pay attention at how you make people feel when they get a job later in life. No amount of education can teach you people skills. Would I come here again? Only if I was desperate. I'd rather wait twice as long than encounter those two bozos ever again. read more

The doctors and staff look young and without much experience. The practitioner prescribed me with antibiotics without a certain clue of bacteria infection. She said I prescribed you this antibiotics just in case your symptoms didn't get better within 7 days...I ended up taking the antibiotics after 8th days since my symptoms got worse but after I finished the antibiotics, my symptoms didn't get better. So I ended up going to another urgent care, the doctor there said the previous physician gave me the wrong antibiotics not for my sinus infection.....I would never go back to this urgent care again. Came here yesterday, after a week of the worst respiratory and sinus symptoms I've ever experienced not going away. The lobby area is very clean and check in went smoothly, but that's where it begins to fall apart for me. I was called back for vitals, which were taken haphazardly. They swabbed me for the flu and COVID, then sent me back into the waiting room because my room wasn't actually ready yet. A bit of time later, and I'm called back into the room, where I waited for 45 minutes before being seen. I understand how long it could've been in an emergency room setting, but I don't really understand calling me back into the room before anyone is ready to see me. I was seen by a PA, with no follow up from either an MD or DO. The thing that shocked me the most was that my lung sounds were listened to through the two layers of clothes I was wearing because I had a fever. Proper auscultation is typically done directly on the skin, and this was upsetting to me because I had been experiencing wheezing and crackling in my lungs during breathing which was not heard by the PA due to the weak examination. I had to advocate for what I knew my symptoms were, and ask for specific medication. The antibiotics I was prescribed after asking for them worked, but if they didn't, I don't think I would spend the time to come back here, even though the building is clean and promises shorter wait times. read more
