Came in thinkin' I was gonna get a nice cold craft beer on the coast. Instead these savages handed me a pint that tasted like a raccoon wrung out a gym sock into carbonated cat piss. I don't know what kinda wizard lab experiment they got goin' on back there, but this wasn't beer -- this was punishment. The food was alright, the place looks cool, but that beer?. I've had warm gas station lagers at 2am that treated me with more respect. If you like drinking pine needles soaked in battery acid with a hint of regret, this is your spot. One star. read more

Decent beer, friendly service and surprisingly nice views. This is an above average, but not amazingly good little brewpub in a cute town. The normal selection of beer is a pretty good flight of typical beers. The party wave hazy IPA from the normal line up stood out as both true to the style and very good. Not too sweet either. The featured limited release tap while we were there was the Brewmaster's Keep imperial stout aged on bourbon soaked oak (but apparently not actually in bourbon barrels). That was really fantastic, creamy and with just hints of bourbon sweetness. Our family of four was lucky enough to have the wrap-around table in the window looking out over the harbor and at the mountains, which was a great view. The food was about the same, but maybe a notch below the beer. I really enjoyed the beet, kale and feta salad, but the Reuben sliders my wife got weren't quite as good and the portions were on the small side. They had vanishingly little food for kids and even the "kids mac and cheese" wound up with onions in it and my son didn't eat it. They did make a bowl of plain rice for my daughter which she ate and they ate the chips that came with the Reuben sliders. The service was attentive and friendly the whole time and they had all the beers they had on tap also to go in cans. read more

We stopped in on a very busy day and had a great experience. There were plenty of beers to choose from and a food menu as well. We had the hummus with our beers for a quick snack. Seating inside and out, although with the rain they were doing their best to accommodate everyone. I thought the staff worked really well together and just wanted to thank our beer-tender as she ran the place so smoothly. I think her name was Alisa. Would stop in again. read more

Nice place for a cold local beer after a fun hike to the light house. We added the house olives & the smoked salmon & shrimp dip along with our beers. Both were tasty and our server brought them right out. There is a great view of the harbor. read more

Cool little spot for a drink ,had a great beer and some good food, would definitely go back.

In the small town of Ucluet, this brewery is one of few places open for a late-ish drink. With that said, it gets full pretty fast and stays full as patrons get comfortable and wind down for the evening. There's a modest selection of brews and wines, but only a couple non-alcoholic drinks. Our party had a couple flights, a white wine, and the hipster punch. I'd say everyone enjoyed their drink, but the punch was definitely the one that stood out to us - although that might be because we don't often drink kombucha. If you're visiting Ucluet and like craft beers, this is definitely a stop to make. read more

The text message you get will say the wait time is 10 min, but you're going to end up waiting 40+ min, and more if you don't stand near the entrance to get attention. read more

Beer is average local brewery stock no complaints The staff seemed irritated to have to serve guests as if it was an inconvenience in their day. they appeared they would rather catch up at the bar with each other and their table side manners were so unpleasant it almost felt like you may be on a punk'd episode bc it was so bad. The worst however is the menu, having been here previously we thought maybe we had just landed at a bad time for the menu. sadly, menu was the same with such unpalatable suggestions that you have to decide between the 2 least offensive options. I don't think most people go out to pay 20$ for chips and dip or nuts and bolts. Most of us don't eat that even on picnics anymore and we get those poor snacks on WestJet for free. This is a brew pub and while I get you want a Ukee vibe, maybe the reason why the pub was almost empty on a sunny Sunday afternoon is bc no one wants to drink avg beer and have no choice in food. This brewery was actually one of my favorite parts about visiting Tofino/Ucluelet. After a whole day of seeing sights and walking around, it was so nice to walk from our hotel to a brew pub to sit down and reflect on the day. Visiting during the pandemic, we were happy that they were still open. The staff greeted us and took down our name and contact details. Then when a spot was available, we got seated on their back patio over looking the harbor inlet. Our server's name was Laurissa, and she was greet and super friendly. We shared a flight and added a couple more so that we could try the range that Ucluelet Brewing Co offers. All in all, everything was great. It was a lively atmosphere with good beers to try. We soon called it a night because boy was it getting chilly outside! read more

The salad I ordered was good, but seemed like half a salad and the "pretzel" was essentially a bread stick shaped sort of like a pretzel. The worst "pretzel" ever. Service was ok but aloof. read more

Don't get me wrong, the food was good when we finally got it but it took so long that we probably would have enjoyed anything by that time. We first ordered chips and salsa - after 20 minutes, we still had not received anything so we asked our waiter for an update - since we were now hungry for a full meal and the chips and salsa were still not ready we asked to cancel those and order a grilled cheese and a falafel sandwich instead. After another hour, still no food. And no word from the waiter. When we finally asked about it, he gave us attitude and said that it takes time "we're not fast food ". No real apology, just attitude. I know stuff happens, but it's all in how you handle the situation and they completely failed in that. We will not be back. read more

Went there just after 7pm on a Friday night and took probably 10 - 15 minutes to get served on the patio and the patio definitely wasn't busy. Seemed short on staff. Beers were okay. Good location, came across it by chance but ended up visiting 2 days in a row. We loved the nitro red and the porter and enjoyed playing board games during our visit. The only downside is that while beer is reasonably priced, the food is a bit on the pricier side. Definitely will visit again during future Ucluelet trips. read more
