Oh so many injuries have caught up with me. I've been to multiple Imaging Healthcare locations over the years but this is my preferred one. The staff has changed many times in that duration but the quality of care has not. The front desk person always greets you when you arrive and verifies that you have completed the necessary online check-in process. The wait times always vary but I've never waited an exorbitant amount of time for my appointment. The technicians have dealt with have always been polite and professional and most are quite friendly. I prefer to get imaging here because all doctors and clinics are able to pull scans and reports even old ones from one place. I do not need to get access or copies for follow ups or new doctors.

One-Star Review: Unprofessional Staff and Abusive Managerial Follow-Up…read more I am filing this review due to two distinct failures at the 3939 Ruffin Road, San Diego location. 1. Staff Misconduct: On May 6th, I witnessed a receptionist treating an elderly, disabled patient in a highly disrespectful and dismissive manner. The behavior was abusive and unacceptable, prompting me to file a formal complaint. 2. Managerial Misconduct (Regional Manager Michelle): The follow-up from the Regional Manager, "Michelle," was worse than the initial incident. When I called back to express dissatisfaction with her flat, initial handling, she: Called me by the wrong name ("Paul"). Explicitly minimized the witnessed abuse, claiming it was just my "mistaken perception" because the patient "had no issues." Became unprofessional, agitated, and volatile when I challenged her "damage control" tactics, accusing me of "talking over her." Tauntingly encouraged me to escalate the complaint to corporate. Conclusion: This experience shows a fundamental failure in customer service, from the front desk to executive management. Regional Manager Michelle's behavior confirms a culture of minimizing patient concerns and protecting poor behavior. I have escalated this complaint to the corporate office and strongly advise caution if you plan to use this facility.

It then infiltrated during the procedure and was still left in my arm. This is called NEGLIGENCE. Note that I am a perfectly healthy person who has no risk factors for complications, so this could happen to you as well. Don't be fooled by how nice the nurses are or how well landscaped or pretty the facility is. Dr. Guy, the anesthesiologist, and the staff couldn't be bothered to spend five minutes to remove my painful IV even though that is standard of care. I spoke up about it several times. They still got paid, so who cares, right? My UCSD PCP, Dr. MacFarlane, essentially told me I was a nut job who made up my symptoms ("overly sensitive due to medical trauma") when I went to him in tears two weeks later still in intense pain and with symptoms of nerve compression. I then dropped UCSD Health as my provider due to his disgusting, negligent evaluation of my injury as well as Dr. Copur's failure to follow up or provide any post-op instructions for IV infiltration. I do have medical PTSD from a previous medical error that occurred with my anesthesia when I had surgery for cancer years ago in my 20s. Any procedure with anesthesia is VERY hard for me to do. I had this talk with Drs. Copur and Guy, as well as all nurses who saw me in pre-op. They violated my body and my trust anyway through their sloppy "care," as did Dr. MacFarlane when he weaponized my trauma against me. Which makes it all so much worse. I had to establish care with Scripps to get a proper evaluation. I have now been diagnosed, and have an EMG pending that will evaluate nerve damage. I start physical therapy this week. I hope it helps so my arm will stop hurting and I can regain all my physical strength that's been lost. There is no accountability, ever, for bad medical professionals unless you're dead or lose a limb, so getting my arm rehabbed is my goal.

The staff member assisting me, Daisy, was not very helpful when there were questions about my insurance coverage. After going back and forth about billing, I called my insurance company while at the desk and confirmed that I have double coverage. Even after hearing this, Daisy said she didn't know what else to do and then walked away without explaining next steps. Another staff member stepped in but said she didn't normally run that area and didn't know how to help either. I ended up waiting in the lobby for about 30 minutes without any updates. When I asked again if there was anything that could be done, the response I received was dismissive. The lack of communication and assistance made the experience very frustrating. I will likely avoid this location in the future if possible, as the insurance process felt disorganized and the customer service was disappointing.

A nurse called to let us know that our friend would be ready for pick-up in "10-15 minutes". Well, she wasn't wheeled out to our car until 90+ minutes later. But the first problem with Koman was being given the address to the FRONT of the building (9400 Campus Point Drive) for Patient Pick-up. There is NO signage here directing you to Patient Pick-up which is in the REAR of the building at 9400 Medical Center Drive! Fortunately, one of the parking valets gave us directions. My impression of surgery recovery room itself was positive, although I expected somet more modern for a 5-year old building.
