Oh so many injuries have caught up with me. I've been to multiple Imaging Healthcare locations over the years but this is my preferred one. The staff has changed many times in that duration but the quality of care has not. The front desk person always greets you when you arrive and verifies that you have completed the necessary online check-in process. The wait times always vary but I've never waited an exorbitant amount of time for my appointment. The technicians have dealt with have always been polite and professional and most are quite friendly. I prefer to get imaging here because all doctors and clinics are able to pull scans and reports even old ones from one place. I do not need to get access or copies for follow ups or new doctors.

    One-Star Review: Unprofessional Staff and Abusive Managerial Follow-Up…read more I am filing this review due to two distinct failures at the 3939 Ruffin Road, San Diego location. 1. Staff Misconduct: On May 6th, I witnessed a receptionist treating an elderly, disabled patient in a highly disrespectful and dismissive manner. The behavior was abusive and unacceptable, prompting me to file a formal complaint. 2. Managerial Misconduct (Regional Manager Michelle): The follow-up from the Regional Manager, "Michelle," was worse than the initial incident. When I called back to express dissatisfaction with her flat, initial handling, she: Called me by the wrong name ("Paul"). Explicitly minimized the witnessed abuse, claiming it was just my "mistaken perception" because the patient "had no issues." Became unprofessional, agitated, and volatile when I challenged her "damage control" tactics, accusing me of "talking over her." Tauntingly encouraged me to escalate the complaint to corporate. Conclusion: This experience shows a fundamental failure in customer service, from the front desk to executive management. Regional Manager Michelle's behavior confirms a culture of minimizing patient concerns and protecting poor behavior. I have escalated this complaint to the corporate office and strongly advise caution if you plan to use this facility.

The most recent experience was thus week when I called to confirm if they had the order for my MRI. I spoke with Fabian who WAS excellent and went above and beyond to assist me. He was very clear and informed me of each step he was taking to clarify the reason for the wait. I highly recommend IHS!

My husband went here the beginning of November and they made him PREPAY before services almost $600 and then they didn't file the insurance. He went back in January and they made him PREPAY again over $300. We had to call several times and then someone told us they would need a fax number for our insurance company to submit the claim they never submitted! After an hour getting that, I called back and the next agent said they didn't need a fax number and didn't know where that came from. This was weeks ago and now they finally filed the insurance so I called back today. The copay on the $600 payment was only $95 and it was $200 on the $300 payment. So they owe us almost $600 back which we have been out of for 4 months now. Today they told me it would take 30-45 days for a refund after the insurance was finalized. This is a ridiculous waste of time and they are giving us the runaround. I'm sure after the 45 days passes we will be calling them again as they do not follow through. They told me they can't speed it up but I could try sending an email which I am sure is another waste of time. If you go here, DO NOT PREPAY for service. It is almost impossible to get a refund with them.

She was checking another patient in and immediately acknowledged us and got us started on our paperwork. The employee, Alyssa, that took us back was extremely nice and so was the RN, Lisa. The only thing I can say is I hate ACE parking. This parking garage is governed by ACE parking. There is no validation on-site. Anyone ever play Animal Crossing? ACE parking is just like Tom Nook-a bunch of crooks. I also didn't like the "security" at the main lobby. Not friendly AT ALL, but again-not something I will ding San Diego imaging for. The reason I called over here to SD imaging is because Sharp Rees Stealy could not get my mom in for a stat mri...until December. I called over here and they were able to get her in within 6 days. Also, I like that even though they have a automated phone system-the system always notifies you what caller you are. This, I appreciate. Not many companies have this and sometimes you feel like you were lost in the sea of calls. Least it tells you AND you kind of know what to expect when you are caller number 7. Win win in my books.

Go to Carlsbad Imaging Instead.
