It has been one year later, and my case is still open and active. They have called collections on me once more. This company is atrocious and evil. Be careful if you are searching for an MRI company to come to. Do not come here. They are rude and do not care about their customers, nor will they reach out via phone, email, or mail before sending you to collections. Wonderful service, from scheduling the appointment to the girls at the front desk to the MRI technician performing the MRI. Everyone was super friendly and professional. I was paying out of pocket and it was a very affordable option. Andrea was one of the front desk ladies helping me who was awesome! Very friendly and polite. The tech Jennifer was very nice too. Having an MRI is a nervous thing to go through and she made me feel really comfortable. The results came back in 48 hours which was very fast. I would definitely recommend this place to get an MRI since some health insurances do not pay for an MRI or if they do pay, you would have to jump through hoops to get it covered. read more

Find another option. They tell you over the phone that you will have to pay the full cost of the service in advance until they find out what your insurance will cover. Okay...I get that. I don't love it, but I get it. What they don't tell you until you are there, is that you have to jump through a million hoops to get any over payment you give returned. Be ready to chase down your insurance claim, and then chase down Peak for payment. Only positive is the techs (but definitely not the front counter who were dismissive and rude) are great! read more

Unfortunately the billing department requires upfront payment, which is very unusual however now I know why. This place will make every effort to NOT reimburse for services that they have been fully paid for by the insurance provider. They use every excuse and stall tactic to discourage patients that continue following up on reimbursement. If you have an option to go somewhere else I recommend it. It's unfortunate that I have to give this negative review however we have been dealing with this for 3 months and once they finally called us back they now say they take 90 days to reimburse! read more

Don't you just hate it when out of respect you get to your appointment 30 minutes early only to have to wait! Like our time isn't valuable. My appointment was for 3:00pm I've now been waiting for 15 minutes, I had to ask the receptionist what's going on at that point she informs me they are running late on all appointments. Not a problem if you could just let your clients be informed so we are not just sitting around wondering. read more

Their business practice is for you to pay in full upfront EVEN IF they obtain a pre-authorization from your health insurance. And even after they receive payment from the insurance company, their policy is they have up to 90 days to refund your money. So the way I see it, it's a complete racket to hold on hundreds of dollars from the patient only to bill the insurance that's already authorized the service and essentially have double payment for a period of time. Their business practice completely ignores the benefit of having insurance. So if you are fortunate enough to have quality health insurance, do yourself a favor, take you and your insurance card to a different diagnostic/imaging facility. read more

Had an MRI, not sure what to say, here. They charged me a $249 copay, although my insurance plus Medicare should have covered all of it. Afterwards, they reported to my insurance company that they only charged me $49. Then the company disappeared or changed its name and address. After reading the similar reviews below here, I am kind of resigned that it will probably take a year or more to be reimbursed, if I ever get it at all! RUN from these people, go anyplace but them. I am so glad I found this place. THE JIST OF IT: Professional, Looks like a new facility, friendly staff, quick to respond, clean and I felt cared for. Best of all- they are AFFORDABLE- I came here out of network. K, TELL ME MORE: I am with Kaiser and had a slipped disk a few weeks ago. Kaiser's urgent care did not have an MRI machine and I had to go through so many hoops to even schedule an appt for an MRI. (Xray appt, referral to specialist etc) On top of that the SAME MRI cost $550 not counting all the copays for the multiple visits. Peak Diagnostic was only $350, they were able to see me within 24 hrs AND I got my consult immediately after. Dr. Wang was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He was patient and I fully appreciated that he took the time to answer my questions. They gave me a copy of my scans in both print & on a CD so that I could easily access. APPT- NO REFERRAL REQ. Front desk staff is also very nice and caring. Scheduling an appt. was super easy- I filled out a form online and their receptionist was so quick to respond. (within 24hrs) I didn't have to get a Dr's referral either. :) read more

This is by far the worst practice I have ever encountered. I had an MRI with this company Jan. 2021 my P.I. case settled. Everything was done with. They were not sending in their invoice, so it wasn't accounted for. It took two years for them to send an invoice, and then a week later started threatening me, sending me texts messages and calling me from blocked phone numbers telling me they're going to send me to collections and that my bill will be $1,200 more. These messages came from a person from supposedly the manager, so please be ware, and if you try calling them to speak to somebody else or the actual manager, guess what she is the only person to speak with. These people are ruthless and do not care about patients, they also have the worst billing system in the world. I worked in personal injury for eight years, and I've never dealt with such a shady company. Even my previous dentist, who also takes advantage of people wasn't as bad as his company and that says a lot. read more

Ha ha so the lies continue. I just got a message from a guy name Mike representing Pete diagnostic he states that I was 40 minutes late and that next time I should show up for my scheduled appointment time on time. He also stated that the following client showed up on time. My appointment was set for 2 PM I have timestamps and photos of the lobby that showed that I wasIn the lobby no later than 2:10 PM. Despite having to give all my information to the receptionist I still had to sign one document digitally and another document giving appropriation for something else. He then went on to state that the following client who showed up on time was seen The caveat to that is I heard the receptionist and the provider talking about how she was in the parking lot . Oddly enough the receptionist called to see if she was still coming in prior to their conversation and she said that she was in the parking lot. From that conversation over 15 minutes of laps before she finally walked in. I can appreciate you trying to make your business look better but not at the expense of what myself and other people are saying as well. We waited over an hour just to be seen. I called and made that appointment and you guys said that you can give me an at 2 PM. So for me to wait any time over that is ridiculous. read more

I was on vacation in San Diego and got injured and was looking to get an MRI fast in the same day. All of the other MRI centers that I called couldn't fit me in their schedule until I spoke to Peak. Peak got me an appointment with 2 hours notice and the facility and service were top notch. I would definitely go back if I need another MRI, Cat Scan or X-ray. read more

My daughter has needed 2 MRIs since the start of the New Year. Annette has been our saving grace. She has been so kind, worked with our insurance to get approval in a matter of hours and done everything possible to get my daughter seen as soon as possible. We have been seen in the trailer in Temecula with Joe as our technician and he has been wonderful as well. They two of them together are a dynamic team and have treated us wonderfully. We are not just a name on a piece of paper but have been handled with kindness and compassion. I sure appreciate the care we have received from Annette and Joe. read more
