    This fabulous gym is a place where you would want to belong. It's definitely a safe space for positivity and support on nurturing your goals for a healthy lifestyle. If you are looking for a positive vibe and excellent customer service please ask for Jake (Manager) and Bobby (Assistant Manager) I can't say enough about their Trainers (Hunter and Angela) and Angela's amazing Tuesday and Thursday night classes (Buti Yoga and Lower Body Sculpting Band classes). Also there are a wide range of other classes and their skilled teachers that are just as awesome! It is a community of uplifting and positive support. Come in and check the place out better yet come in join the fun! Also be sure to follow them on instagram (ufcgymplacerville).

    I came here for the day while visiting placerville and had an amazing experience!…read more I used to be a member at a snap fitness in Oregon and this location had a lot more equipment than my previous snap. I was especially impressed by how many squat racks there were- 4 plus a smith machine! This location is fairly large with a big room for group classes that you can use when they're not in session, a cardio room and a big weight lifting area. There is ample natural light which makes a cheerful atmosphere. There were also several bathrooms that included showers, cleaning wipes and even some water and protein bars for sale. The whole facility was very clean and everyone was nice and respectful of the space. Daniel helped me with a complementary day pass and was very nice. I'd highly recommend this gym!

I felt nervous and a bit skeptical going in--but the staff completely changed that for me. They've made this experience truly incredible. Since starting, I've lost 50 pounds, which still feels surreal to say. The members are all so welcoming and friendly, which makes showing up that much easier. I also have an amazing trainer, Tina. She's fun, kind, and incredibly supportive. She pushes you when you need it most, but also knows exactly how to encourage you when you feel like giving up. This place is amazing all around--I'm so grateful I took that first step.

    Jake is simply AMAZING! I found him about 2 years ago. I was told I was permanently disabled by…read moredoctors. Due to a spine injury. I had no stability bad posture I was always in pain. I started doing functional training to restore connectivity. By doing this I was able to activate and restore my bodies normal function. Today I can walk lift and workout including wait lifting. I never though I could do this. My pain is way less but the best part is how I can move freely. This doesn't mean im not in pain at times it means its bearable. I've learned to use proper muscles, eat properly to fuel my body. I now have the ability to be strong and confident, eliminating the hurting myself by being off balance and straing muscles from over compensating due to injuries and difficulties.
