    Post class w/ Coach David

Now this is what a gym community should really be! I decided to try something new and signed myself up for this wonderful boxing gym. To start off I must say this is my first time doing this sport and so far, it has been amazing challenges and work all together. The coaches are very knowledgeable when conducting the boxing classes and most definitely kick our butt every single time. They really hone in on the fundamentals and teach you how to improve gradually as you attend more classes. The workouts definitely get your heart rate jumping from start to finish but only 45 minutes which is perfect! They also offer a variety of class times which is great for anyone with a different schedule. All in all, from the coaches, to front desk and ownership they truly care about your wellbeing inside and out of the gym which is a beautiful thing. Being a former college athlete and seeing this type of inclusivity has given me such reminders of what I miss from a collegiate level. Regardless of where you start, your age, or current fitness level everyone including the members are very helpful and kind. You will not regret signing up for this gym!

I have been coming here since 2018 because I wanted to find something that I could do on my own when all my friends didn't want to do anything. Jose immediately made me feel right at home and comfortable with the new experience and atmosphere and since then I have kept coming back and have gained a new family away from home (Washington state native). All the coaches... David, Alex, Deeray, Grizz etc are so amazing and deff are passionate about boxing and your overall health. I love this place soooooo much and everyone here is family! You can most likely catch me chillin with my girly pops in the weight area. Chisme and snack, and throw in a little lifting as well . They have a shower in the female bathroom if you need to get in a workout before work and then freshen up. They also have a small weight area with leg press, squat rack dumbbells etc. and if you need help coming up with something just ask a coach and they'll be more than happy to give you something Don't be afraid to pop in and give it a try for a new experience, it'll change your life.

I'm a former athlete with experience in CrossFit and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I started going to this gym on November 1st, 2025, and I've really enjoyed the experience so far. The classes are well organized, and the workouts are a great combination of circuit-style bodybuilding and learning the fundamentals of boxing. Every member of the gym, no matter their age or experience level, has been fun to train with--it's truly a great community. The coaches are excellent and do a great job keeping you motivated, even when you're working your hardest. I've personally been coached a lot by Coach David since my work schedule lines up with the classes he teaches. My advice to anyone reading this: don't be nervous about trying boxing. I understand it can feel intimidating at first, but the environment and atmosphere here are very welcoming and a whole lot of fun. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment under this review and I'll get back to you

I can't say enough great things about Jose Morales Boxing Academy! The coaches are knowledgeable, motivating, and really take the time to teach proper technique while pushing you to get stronger each session. The workouts are tough but fun, and there's always a great balance of boxing skills, conditioning, and strength training. What I love most is the supportive community--you feel welcomed no matter your fitness level. I've only been going for about 3 months now and already feel so much stronger. If you're looking for a place to get in shape and be part of an uplifting environment, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

This gym is not only super well-rounded with amazing coaches, staff, and fighters, but also has a very welcoming environment. This is my second month and since the beginning I've felt very at home and welcomed by everyone. There's so many class options that this gym really works for anybody's schedule. You can really see the dedication and respect the coaches have for everyone just by the way they talk/help/guide fighters in the gym. They actually care and want to see everyone grow in and out of the ring. Don't second guess this place! Can't say enough good things!

My son plays basketball so I was looking for some cross training. Wow, found much more than that. Now that basketball season has started, the limited training my son had with Coach David has paid off tremendously especially balance and positioning but also mental strengthening. Coach David trains the mind and the body. JoseMorales Boxing will definitely be a part of my son's future cross training plans. I suggest you go and give it a chance. They have a wonderful staff and you always feel welcome there.

When I went in for a tour, I knew I wanted to be here!

JMBA is hands down one of the best places to train. The workouts are challenging, effective, and a great way to push yourself while actually having fun (and yes--you get to hit things!). What really sets this place apart is the sense of community. Everyone is so respectful, friendly, and genuinely welcoming--you feel like you belong the moment you walk in. There's nothing better than getting an amazing workout in such a positive, motivating environment. Highly recommend!

This gym is the best in Sacramento for adults and kids! I loved going to this gym, unfortunately I moved to another state so I don't got here anymore but I definitely recommend. Staff is so nice, the classes are great, the coaches know what they're doing. You actually learn here. Keep up the great work here

I have my 7yr old enrolled in their youth program with Coach David and it has been great. His overall endurance and confidence has improved. Highly recommend.

There are so many positives about this boxing gym. We are always greeted with a smile followed by a 'hi, how you doing' or a fist pump. My kids have been comfortable since the very first day. They have been taking the kids class with Coach David and Coach Dante. I'm amazed with how the coaches run the classes. They're knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and humorous. If your kids have any interest in boxing, this is the gym to sign them up for!

I can't say enough good things about Jose Morales Boxing Academy here in Roseville. From the very first day, I was welcomed into a supportive and motivating environment. I originally came in looking for a proper boxing gym, and I was pleasantly surprised by how open, friendly, and community-driven it was. The coaches here -- Coach Jose, Coach David, Coach Ted, Coach Alex, Coach Madeline, Coach Dante and Coach Brandon-- bring incredible knowledge, patience, and passion for the sport. They each bring their own style, and together they create an atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back and improving every day. Special shoutout also to Grace, Kelly, and Dina, who make the gym feel like home. Their kindness and support make such a difference in creating that family-like atmosphere. Not only have I learned so much about boxing, but being here has also helped me find balance in life -- between work, fitness, and personal growth. This gym doesn't just train fighters, it builds confidence and community. If you're looking for a boxing gym in Roseville, this is the place. I highly recommend it.

I'm very glad I joined this gym 6 mos ago. Enrolled in a 3 mos program with 3 classes a week, and upgraded to unlimited membership afterwards. The coaches keep you motivated with a variety of different lessons and excersices, no two classes are the same. The gym runs classes all day to fit your schedule, there will always be a class available at a time that works for you, with Saturday AM mitt class being the highlight of the week. Most importantly, you get results while learning to box. If your thinking of enrolling, just do it already. Will be the best decision you make for yourself.

I have really been enjoying my time here at JMBA. Coming into it I was a bit intimidated by boxing but always wanted to get into it. I am glad I did and chose this academy. From the coaches to the front desk, everyone has been very supportive and have pushed me to be better. The vibes during the trainings is always high, and everyone is always pushing one another to be better. I highly recommend to come and check it out if you want to get into boxing. All the coaches here are very knowledgable of the sport and work with you to be the best version of yourself.

My son is getting great 1-on-1 lessons from Coach David!

Ummm...why are there only two reviews here?…read more This place is A-MAZING!!! Screw 24-hour fitness and the monotony of a gym. Come here!!! The prices are about the same, you're supporting a local business, and the value at Niavaroni's is so much better. Niavarani's is professional, VERY welcoming to females, adults, and youths of all shapes, levels, and sizes I like the management. The instructors are all amazing (EZRA REGAN is my favorite...you're AWESOME!!!). This is what I love most: I can go into a class for an hour, come out drenched in sweat, get an amazing work out, and feel great afterward. And the best part about Niavoroni's: When I come here, I feel like I'm part of a family.

A year ago, I would have rated it 5 stars. Now? It's just OK…read more Let me expand. I'm here for the kickboxing-- or, Muay Thai. Ezra was a fantastic instructor. Every week we would improve or learn. Now that he is gone, it just isn't the same. Now, the gym is focused primarily on boxing. There is very little new instruction in the way of kickboxing, and I don't think I've seen clinching (a large part of Muay Thai) even mentioned since. The sessions are very formulaic, and have very little variation anymore. Some calisthenic warm up, a round of shadow boxing, some running drills, a little bag work, then no/light contact basic punch drills with a partner. Then the same ab routines and maybe some jump rope. In general, the above isn't really a problem if it was just a cardio burn class offered at the local gym - but this is a dedicated boxing/kickboxing gym that commands a price 2-3x higher than your average gym membership. One thing that does give them a distinct advantage is the hourly class schedule. They run a lot of classes!

It's been 16 classes at Rumble Boxing, so I feel like I can finally give a real review…read more I'll start by saying I had a little boxing experience before coming in, and I absolutely love the boxing part of the workout. Hitting the bag, working through the combos, and really getting into it has been my favorite part. At first, I wasn't sure how I'd like it overall. But the more I went, the more I started looking forward to the next class. It's hard to explain, but there's something about finishing a workout there that just feels really good. You walk out sweaty, accomplished, and proud of yourself. The classes are 45 minutes, sometimes up to an hour depending on the format, and they move fast. You sign up through the app, which makes it super easy and convenient. The trainers are really friendly and make you feel comfortable right away. At the beginning of class, they teach the punches one through six, so you're never just guessing. It's definitely high intensity, but don't let that scare you. You truly go at your own pace. Whether you're brand new or have some experience, it works. What I appreciated most as someone newer to the format is how they walk you through everything. They show you how to wrap your hands, where to stand, which side of the bag to use, and how the rotations work. If it's your first time, don't stress. They'll show you everything. The music is also a whole vibe. When the lights go down, it feels like a rave. You're locked in, focused on yourself, not worrying about anyone else. It's such a great environment. You get a clean towel and locker access, which is a nice bonus. Everything feels organized and professional. All the trainers are encouraging and high energy. The owner, Stacy, is great. I've worked with Stacy, Carson, and Fallon, and they're all amazing in their own way. Overall, it's been such a great experience and I genuinely can't wait for my next class.

We love our instruction here so far, we look forward to going, and are sad to leave. My littlest is sleeping in his Gi uniform right now. Marinoble's offers such a variety of classes it will accommodate any child and adult. The facility is huge! They have five separate "floors" to instruct various classes simultaneously; including a cage, a boxing ring, a knife throwing center. This means parents can work out in their own class while the kids are having fun learning in another part of the gym. They offer MMA, Kickboxing, JuJitsu, Submission Grappling, BOK FU, Weapons Disarming, and traditional Boxing by actively competing trainers at both the amateur and professional level. My only requests would be large fans, please. The room smells of many sweating people. Okay, not major BO or anything, just man sweat. Of course, the women smell wonderful when we sweat [wink, wink] which can only help deodorize it so much! And the some of the equipment could be maintained better, but it's minor stuff, like having enough properly pumped and working speed bags. **So this is what sold me! The prices are reasonable and they offer family discounts off both the enrollment and tuition anywhere from 25% - 50% off. Then the owner, Dave Marinoble, offered free passes good for a few days of classes to try it out. When I asked when the days would begin, the manager, Kim, told me not to worry about it; to take my time sampling the various classes to help make a better decision. No pressure, wonderful. I brought the boys in and they happily welcomed them and gave them semiprivate instruction to catch up with the group. The looks on their faces said it all. The instructors were so happy and fun while they taught, my boys were grinning ear to ear the entire time. When they finished, their first question was, "When can we come back"? Another good sign! Happy, nurturing teachers, great management and the owner is awesome too. He teaches many of the classes. He has more energy than I've seen any person have! Maybe he can lend me some for my "tired parent" days? Instead, they got me working out in the back room and even I had a blast. After the first day, I told Kim, "We're sold! Give us a few more days to choose which classes", which was fine. For every age 5-85 and every skill level. They train active competitors, kids, soccer moms and everyone in between. The gym is female friendly. The variety of classes and times makes it easy to get a butt-kicking workout in every day. The coaching is fantastic! So far I've had Kim and Abrahm, and the boys have had Tiffany? and Dave Marinoble, plus a few others. We've liked them all! **I strongly recommend checking this place out for fitness, self defense training, and competitive sport, for an adult or a child! We're having lots of fun so far.
