Taking in the gorgeous views and peaceful ride.

So much fun! Loved the triple tandem ride and getting to parasail with my son and my mom. Captain Micah and Christian were amazing. Thanks for making it such a great experience! Can't wait to do it again soon! Mahalo

We had the absolute best time!! My two tonnage kids and I went out and the experience topped their bucket list experiences! The crew made it so fun! Super knowledgeable, made everything stress free and exciting! There is an option to get a longer rope which we would recommend. Thank you for making such great memories for my kids and I!

We celebrated my 40th birthday in Kona and when my family asked what I wanted to do Parasailing was my immediate answer! The concierge recommended UFO and the Yelp reviews were great so we got it booked! The whole process was incredibly easy from start to finish and they gave us an educators discount, 15% off! Captain Casey and her first mate Carrigan were spectacular! Also, I can not stress enough the amazing deal the photo package is! Also, go earlier in the day for the best weather.

This was my first time parasailing and it was a great experience! I am afraid of heights so I was super nervous to do this but the crew made me very comfortable and I felt safe the entire time! They were so great at giving instructions and really listen to your needs. I am glad my husband and I did the dunk! You get wet and it's so refreshing but of course you have the option to not (I don't recommend this, the dunk was so worth it!). It is so peaceful when you are up there that anyone who's afraid of heights can do this! I will definitely be recommending UFO Parasailing!

Fantastic crew that made the entire experience so memorable! Definitely recommend purchasing their photos...so much better than what my phone captured!

I would have never guessed that I would even ever try parasailing, but after being suggested and reading up on some reviews, I decided to face my fear and made reservations for the 10am time slot which also offered a 15% discount. Up to 8 people can sign up for the time slots provided and including us, our group had six. Fill out your waivers online and show up 30 minutes prior. Validated parking is available at the Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel, 3 hours for $2. We ended up getting it free when we inserted our ticket on the way out. The crew was super friendly and we got started once we moved away from the dock. You can store all your belongings beneath you. The water was pretty peaceful the day we went, so we were able to hold onto our phones and take pictures during the boat ride when it wasn't our turn. We went first and after our straps and life jackets were fitted to us, we were strapped in. It was such an awesome experience, no queasy feeling in my stomach, just an overall feeling of peace. It was quiet up there and you may swing, but it is so slight. You climb to about 1200 ft according to the website and it felt like we were up there for about 15 mins. The views were gorgeous and the day we went a cruise ship was in the area. We were dipped in the water coming in, but just let them know if you don't want to get wet. We purchased the media package onsite for $30 and received them via text. If you're thinking about it, do it. We had a blast!

We had an awesome ride! We are locals for over 6 years and finally got to go up for my birthday and it was well worth it! Captain John and first mate Doc were awesome and made sure safety was priority one and also added a lot of fun experience! We would recommend it! And Mahalo Ola Brew for the great parachute advertisement! Perfect Aloha!

Wow! Great experience despite delay. Saw from our condo balcony, taking people out and the name of the place was on the boat. Realized I was terrified but wanted to do it anyway. Note that I'm anxiety prone generally and have some back issues. Went to the website and read about it. Made a reservation online easy peasy. Added the photo package cause photos or ot didn't happen. Walked down to dock next day and they'd had a technical difficulty. Rather than take it as a sign I shouldn't do it, we had them move us to two hours later. Younger guy Christian (had a deep soothing voice made for radio) and the captain were great! Obviously done it a ton. They ran through procedure and made me more confident. Husband and I went third out of four couples. Launch was easy! We went up to around 1200 feet. It was so quiet up there. And not as windy as we expected. Couldn't even hear the boat. Back was just fine. I did great .... Till we started to come in. The harness made some snapping and whipping sounds with significant jerks that really freaked me out. Landing easy also. Turned out those noises were perfectly normal. And my only tip here is they should tell people to expect it on the way down. Would totally do this again.

AMAZING SERVICE. The two men helping us were kind, funny, and thoughtful. Helped wish my sunburn, let us play our own music, and even danced to it too. They said our group was the funnest they've had. The view was spectacular! Thank you Doc and Ty!!

Matt, the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable about the island's history and marine life, and he was kind enough to honor our tour even though they didn't have the minimum group size of four passengers that day. That alone says a lot about the kind of business he runs. He also made our anniversary feel extra special by providing a fresh seafood lunch with fish he had caught himself, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. The tour was about 3.5 to 4 hours total. From the marina, it was roughly a 10 minute boat ride to the snorkel spot. The ride itself was very comfortable. There is some shade on the boat, but it's not fully covered, so definitely bring solid sun protection. A long sleeve rash guard or sun shirt is a good idea. On the way out, we saw a few whales in the distance and once we were in the water, we could actually hear them singing. It was surreal and honestly kind of magical. The snorkel location itself was beautiful, with several sea turtles, tons of fish, and colorful coral. There was only one other boat nearby, so it felt remote and almost private rather than crowded or rushed. Hunter, our snorkel guide, was relaxed and helpful, and we were able to move at our own pace which made the whole experience feel unhurried and personalized. We didn't get to see any whales up close unfortunately, they just weren't cooperating that day, but even hearing them underwater was something we won't forget. Matt was friendly, down to earth, and clearly passionate about what he does. He offers both land and water tours, and we appreciated the local perspective woven throughout the experience. If you're looking for a more intimate, locally run excursion instead of a large crowded boat tour, I would absolutely recommend Liquid Hawaii.

It was extremely windy and choppy -- even the boat captain & guide commented, "this is windy," which didn't exactly inspire confidence. We didn't see a single manta ray, and the conditions made it hard to even enjoy being on & in the water. The ride back was rough, freezing, and completely soaked us. It felt more like surviving the ocean than experiencing it. I understand wildlife sightings aren't guaranteed, but guest safety and overall conditions should come first. I wish the company had made the call to reschedule rather than pushing forward in clearly poor weather.

This protected bay has over 120 species of resident fish, and usually has clear water. Other than urchins (7 species) there is no marine life to worry about. Turtle sitings are more likely at high tide when their salad bar (the algae on the rocks) is available. Typically from 9 to 3 daily the Reef Teach volunteers have photo guide books and other reference materials available, along with free advice, defog spray, and reef-safe sunscreen. Water access is the narrow and shallow rocky channel in front of the lifeguard station by the parking and pavilion. Swim fins or sand shoes are recommended. The locals value their feet and swim through it even at low tide when it is only a foot deep. Coming back in you can actually swim all the way back to the sandy channel. The water is usually noticeably warmer and clearer away from the entry. The bay is shallow with only a few places that are even 8' deep at high tide. Unless you really need to, don't stand on the bottom or coral - fins and feet damage it.

The guides took the tour out to the Captain Cook Monument, where the snorkeling was cool. The water was clear, the marine life plenty, and it ended up being one of the best snorkeling spots I've experienced. One tip: be sure to rent the flippers when you sign up. They made a huge difference and helped a lot in the water. They are not provided from the all in tour price. For the tour price you get the ride and snorkel mask with a floaty. They also rent life jackets if you need that. This tour is definitely geared toward people who are comfortable swimming and being on an open-air boat. What really made the experience special were the crew members. Our captain and lifeguard were laid-back, friendly, and made everyone feel safe while keeping the atmosphere fun. So I had to wait about 40 minutes for a return call. The experience wasn't very welcoming and not very 'aloha.' Day of the event, it was confusing that the confirmation I received (when I booked) said 11:00pm, at one point the confirmation said 11:50pm, and then finally it said 10:50pm. So I had to keep on checking the confirmation page, because it kept on changing. Definitely don't show up too early, because you'll be turned away! The actual event was a ton of fun, although I got a bit seasick after about 20 minutes. The mantas are absolutely gorgeous and you'll feel super special when they look you in the eye. The guys on the boat were great and very welcoming. This might be a little TMI, but when I got back to the hotel a tiny dead fish popped out of my bathing suite. Eww.
