They offer a variety of pasta dishes and pizza. It got pretty crowded so service was sometimes slow or hard to get attention. However we both had lasagna and it was the best I have had. Whether it's a quick stop for coffee or a longer linger for brunch/dinner, you'll find a nice selection of Italian, smoothies, sandwiches, and drinks. In warmer months spill outside to the seating under the awning, and when it's rainy there's always a friendly seat inside. They'll likely even accommodate when you have an off-time menu request, as theh have for me. All this won't be news to the locals who frequent for the service and the food. Weekends you should probably book ahead, especially if you're looking for larger group accommodation. You'll have plenty of harder drink choices as well for those evening visits. I'll return and look for you there.
Had the chance to visit Rubio for a promotional night and it was absolutely brilliant!…read more The staff are super friendly and the location is very cozy and stylish. A little way off from the busy high streets, this restaurant occupies a beautiful corner space with a large patio and rustic, nostalgic decor. The pizza is delicious with a traditional crust that's not too thin in the middle, a very fruity tomato base and generous toppings. I tried the buffalo mozzarella pizza and it was absolutely stunning. Huge chunks of scrumptious mozzarella, plenty of rocket, a perfect combination. The back wall is covered in vinyl LP sleeves and there's a dj desk. We were lucky enough to have the owner spin records for us, which was a great accompaniment for dinner, a great excuse for some dancing exercise after eating and not too loud to stop us from chatting. Would definitely recommend this location!

What makes HOMESLICE stand out is the ability to mix and match toppings on each half of a whole pizza, making it perfect for sharing and trying different flavour combinations. For our visit, we grabbed a couple of slices for a quick lunch while exploring the city. I went with the Salami, Rocket & Parmesan slice, which was loaded with toppings and packed with flavour, while my wife kept it classic with a Margherita slice. The slices are massive, yet the pizza remains light, crisp, and easy to eat. With its relaxed atmosphere, communal seating, and prime location near Covent Garden, HOMESLICE is an excellent stop when you need a quick bite between London attractions.

There was a large selection of delicious pizzas. I loved that they could accommodate to allergies. The one negative was that the pizza dough was totally charred on the back which gave this bitter taste. It definitely took away from the deliciousness of the pizzas. All four pizzas came out this way. One was so burnt that we had to send it back. They were nice about it. Wish they took it easy in the pizza oven rather than let the dough get to the point where it's burnt.

I haven't physically been to the restaurant, but we ordered from them the other evening when a group of friends came over unannounced. We were all very impressed. Pizzerias are a dime a dozen in London. What (we collectively felt) separated Oregano from the boys was the depth of flavour they pack into their pizzas, the thin, light crust of their pizzas and the speed of delivery. FYI, there's a dedicated app for even faster ordering / delivery. We ordered the Quattro Stagioni (four seasons pizza), Pepperoni, Vegetarian, Chicken Pesto, American and Tuna. All were fantastic but I personally liked the Tuna most, having never had a pizza with tuna before, or any kind of fish for that matter (anchovies don't count). Unless there was a hardcore, non-dairy vegetarian in our group, I would probably replace the Vegetarian with a Quattro Formaggi next time. The leftovers passed the morning after tests with flying colours too. Oregano is well worth a visit, take away or home delivery. Hey!
