He told her the price that he received on the phone..Her reply was exactly this "ok so get it that way then" . She had an annoyed, dismissive tone.. Also she was on the phone before he came in. Now she gets back on with the same person and starts talking smack about the young man who spoke broken English. Tells her friend the story like this guy who was just trying to find out info is a fool. She said "why didn't he get it on the phone then, okurrrr.. and then she went on to make fun of his accent. Try to cancel as part of move and not knowing where I was off to next and they offered me a "no strings attached" deal where they screwed me on my next bill by actually upcharging me instead of honoring the deal they sent email confirmation for. Then you try to cancel and it's the most relentless choreographed retention process I've ever gone thru for anything. Used car salesman would turn their nose at this practice. They delay the cancellation talk and try to pepper in as many different ways for you to say no to them as possible! No means No Ben. I wouldn't wish this company to my worst enemy.

The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.
