We've been here three times now, and they've never disappointed us. The food is consistently delicious, and every visit has been a great experience. The dosas are flavorful, fresh, and always prepared well. We tried Malli dosa, Kara dosa, paneer chilli dosa - all were great and tasty. Medu vadas were crispy and well cooked. The benne dosa was quite good. I'd order that again. I liked the flavor and crispiness in bites of the dosa. The samosa chaat was decent, but not at the top of my list to order again. It's hard when you've had some great dishes from similar style restaurants. Per the usual, I'd recommend giving the place a shot and judging for yourself- perhaps this one will take the win for you over others. Today went with my friend we ordered the idly vada combo plate and masala benna dosa they both were so good all chutneys and sambhar were so fresh. Do not hesitate to try this place. I will be going back here for sure. A 10 star to it. read more

Food & service: So many Gluten Free options! We had the masala dosa, paneer dosa, pau bhaji dosa, Idli, filter coffee and Irani chai. Food was packed with flavor and wonderful different textures. Each dosa tasted very different so it was fun to try each other's order. The idlis were huge and so moist and soft. I will probably order extra sambar next time because it was THAT good. Perfect soul food. We are so happy to have an authentic South Indian restaurant so close to home! Staff was very helpful in navigating the menu and answering questions about the dishes. We were a large, excited and hungry party and felt we got our food pretty quickly. 100% coming back! I did not have a chance to take a picture of our food because we could not wait to dig in. Will take pictures next time :) Restaurant: clean, organized I liked being able to grab my water and also they have a sink near the seating area which was a convenient touch if you want to wash hands without having to go into the bathroom. read more

My sister told me about this new South Indian restaurant that just opened in Lathrop. Was super excited to get this because we have nothing good in Lathrop. Visited there last evening with my sister. Food, ambiance, service and vibe all top notch. Owner was present himself and checking to make sure guests were well taken care of. Food was delicious! We tried the masala dosa, menu vada, onion samosas, Shahi tukda, and Iranian chai. Everything was great! The only thing that can be a bit better is the balahahi I got to go but not bad at all. 3.5 I would say ., not bad but they should use a better quality oil for their cooking specially for dosas -u can kind of smell or kind of taste the oil which isn't of good quality -their menu items isn't less so that very well use ghee in it. I love this place. Regular for Sunnyvale branch when visiting CA and now with this lathrop branch it even moved closer to where my friends live . Slightly less menu when compared to Sunnyvale branch(we miss rava dosa). No pinpointing, every single item on their menu is awesome. Be it mysore bonda,poori,all varieties of idli...list goes on. This restaurant truly brings a perfection to dosa and idli which I have missed for a very long time. They have authentic Bangalore taste in their Benne dosa and their chutneys from Andhra origin are simply delicious.
