This is the first time I've ever crossed over a Doordash review to Yelp and I think it's for VERY good reason. I'll comment on the taste in a bit but I want to first highlight something I've never experienced. In all my work-from-home years I've never once had to-go experience where the dishes looked like they'd been plated for table service at the restaurant. Sure some stuff shifted in the Dasher's car but it honestly blew me away. Even the drink was carefully wrapped and put in a little box to ensure it wouldn't leak everywhere. As for the important bit, the taste, man... I have had so many amazing Thai meals at places in the bay area and honestly just assumed the most Modesto would get is some great Banh Mi spots. Obviously I haven't had the chance to try the whole menu but my go-to, Tom Kha, this is the best Thai coconut soup I've ever had! The Pad Thai is as good if not better than what I've had in San Francisco as well. I'm really looking forward to bringing friends and family here to check it out in person! Side note... yes, it's also very expensive ordering via Doordash with their added fees but it's 2026 and it's California. So far my multiple orders have been well worth the price and I expect the same experience in person! (just, you know, without the extra Doordash fee nonsense) read more

The restaurant is in a little old school strip mall, supperrrr tiny but don't let that deceive you. Inside was packed and there was a line outside too. Ordered to-go and they said 20 mins but it was more like almost 30-40 min. Truly worth the wait though. Will definitely be coming back to this spot! I've been to pretty much every popular Thai restaurant in the southbay so when I stopped by this restaurant I didnt expect much from some random Thai place in a city named Manteca in the central valley. I thought the food would be the same as some other Thai mall food. We ordered Pad Kee Mao and Noodle Soup and surprisingly both dishes were great if not better than some of the thai places that we've tried in the southbay. This is now our favorite place and we look forward to coming here again in the future to try more dishes. read more

Had I reviewed this place sooner (thought I had), I likely would've given this place a 5/5 (at least for the area). They have become a go-to spot for me over the years. This is a whole in the wall, small local businesses I have been wanting to try this place for quite a while now. It has great reviews and I love Thai food so I had high expectations. Ambiance resembles a small business but didn't really give me the usual Thai food spot vibe. I didn't dine in, took it to go however I did post a few pictures of the dining room so be sure to check them out. Food was delicious! A bit overpriced but so good! Check out my photos of the food I bought. Service was what you would expect for a to go order. I asked for an itemized receipt but was told by the young lady that she couldn't provide one to me. Today I dined as pleasure so not an issue however when I do business meals I do need itemized receipts so this spot would not be an option for me to take anyone to a business lunch. Too bad because I tend to spend much more on those outings. I also found it odd that the prices advertised in the window don't match the menu prices inside. I mentioned this to the cashier who just shrugged it off. I tried to figure out why my meal cost so much based on menu prices inside but without an itemized receipt it was not possible. I paid $35.72 for the crying tiger and a mango sweet sticky rice dessert. I even added extra three dollars in case they charged me for side of rice but still I paid more than I should have by a few dollars. This is the reason I took off two stars. Parking was a bit challenging as this place is located in a strip mall and shared with several other businesses including a grocery store. Overall, I would love to eat the food again but the owner will need to update menu in window and in store to reflect what I'm actually paying. If not, I will have to pass. I always support local small businesses and I still recommend you give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed in the food, you may be disappointed with the price your charged though. Came on a Sunday around 6:30pm for dinner and was seated right away. We got the fresh young coconut ($7), wings in dry since our toddler was eating it and the dip came on the side, crab fried rice, and mango sticky rice. Everything was good -- the dip for the wings had a tiny kick and the crab fried rice was so tasty you don't need sauce. The only bad thing is that the mango sticky rice was hard and not cooked with enough water or long enough. Total was $51 without tips for three people (1 toddler). They have high chairs too. We would have had a great experience as the service was great and it was a nice clean restaurant, however, a family was seated and immediately coming in, the family had no consideration for other patrons in the restaurant. I am around noise, and am typically not bothered, especially when a family is out having a nice meal while enjoying each others' company. But this family had no control of their kids nor did they care that kids were in walk ways. It's a small restaurant and they were playing now around tables. It is not a park nor outdoors. There has to be a line drawn to make others feel comfortable and enjoy their meals too. That was the only thing that bothered me that not one person gestured the kids to sit down or at least be in their area. We were all tortured. It was really hard to enjoy our meal. But it wasn't just the kids, the parents did not care. In fact, they were yelling themselves. It's about respect for others. I understand this is a one off situation because it started to get busy. It's a popular restaurant and the food speaks for itself but the business needs to control an uncomfortable environment. Everyone was upset. As I was waiting for my order I felt that the waiter is doing everything on its own. From taking phone/dine in orders; preparing the phone orders for the Togo customers; cleaning the table and getting the transactions for payments for both dine in/ Togo customers; and serving dine in customers with their orders is a bit too much for a one person job. I felt that my order took a long time to be delivered at my table. Don't get me wrong this place is really good with their food menu. The food here is great. The lady who took my order quoted 10-15 mins so we hurried over but still had to wait another 15 minutes for our food. We brought the food back to our hotel. It's a cute little Thai restaurant, ambience is good. Got seated right away. We ordered Thai tea, it was really good. Pad Thai was really really sour and had too much sauce. It was almost like they added too much tamarind sauce to the dish. Fried rice was yummy. Tom kha was excellent. And the noodle soup was delicious as well. Service was good. I told them I am Thai and was expecting pretty good treatment but they didn't seem that happy or friendly...at least not to us. SERVICE: We were heading back to the bay area from Yosemite so we reserved a table on Yelp ahead of time but all the tables were still full when we arrived, so our server took our orders and served us drinks ahead of time to ensure our food could be ready quicker once we got seated. This place never disapoints, I'm extremely picky with Pad Thai, I dislike when they make it too sweet or too sour, I'm a savory spicy kind of gal, so this place right here got it right for me, I could taste the char and smokiness of the hot wok, so much flavor, and their tamarin wings are out of this world, they have two styles, I prefer the dry rub but both are tasy. The sauce they serve it with is tamarin base with cilantro, chillies and hint of fish sauce, extremely addicting. I'm drooling just thinking about them. There aren't many Thai restaurants in Lathrop or Manteca or Tracy area. I came across this restaurant with good reviews. Plus they are open at 11 am on weekends and offer online ordering on their website. They also have their own drivers for delivery versus third party. We got Pineapple Fried Rice, Green Chicken Curry Thai Hot, Thai iced tea, Yellow Chicken Curry Mild, Papaya Salad Medium Spicy Veggie, Pad Kee Mao with Chicken, Pad See Ew with Pork, Pad Thai with Chicken, Pad Thai with Pork, and Basil Pork Belly. All of this was able to feed 7 adults with leftovers. The servings of the rice, noodle and curry dishes were decent. The curry also came with two medium size servings of rice. I wish I ordered two of the Basil Pork Belly. This was my favorite dish out of everything we ordered. It was flavorful, saucy, and the pork belly still retained some of its crispness. The pineapple fried rice had a whole serving of fresh pineapple as opposed to canned pineapple. It also had raisins, which I never had before and some cashews. I would have preferred more cashews than raisins. The Green Curry Thai hot was intense, in a good way. The yellow curry was the perfect mild spice intensity. The website offers a variety of spice levels: no spicy, mild, medium spicy, hot and Thai hot. I put a request to write which items are spicy, as we had kids eating the meals. They wrote it clearly on the takeout containers, which was greatly appreciated. There was plenty of parking on the plaza. The restaurant was small and provided a homey feel. About three years ago, I discovered this place while driving back from work, and since then it has become one of my favorite restaurants. I liked it so much that I started going once or twice a week. I went so often that the waitresses already knew my order; many times I didn't even have to ask because they already knew exactly what I wanted. At first, I always ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, but one day I decided to try something different and I fell in love with the Pineapple Curry. Since then, it has become another one of my favorite dishes. Everything about this restaurant is amazing: the food, the desserts, and the service. The Sticky Mango is delicious, and every dish I've tried has been excellent. On top of that, the staff is always friendly, attentive, and makes you feel very welcome. I've never been to Thailand, but the authenticity of the food can be felt in every bite. You can tell there is care, tradition, and dedication in every recipe. It is truly impressive cuisine.
