Out of all the dining options here and you want something good to eat, then this is the place! It's a sit down restaurant with actual people you can order from and interact with. Everyone here was very attentive and friendly! *RESERVATIONS ARE NECESSARY! No walk ups allowed. The 2 dishes that were outstanding to me were: 1. CHEESY SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP. Served in a cast-iron skillet, topped with melted cheese and pico de gallo. Such a delicious starter! I loved the dip with tortilla chips. If you run out of chips or pico de gallo, you can request more at no extra charge. 2. GRILLED ASIAN CHICKEN SALAD. Crisp romaine, cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, scallions, green beans, crunchy wonton strips, and sweet ginger sesame dressing. A fresh vibrant medley of different textures and flavor! This is easily enough for two people to share. They are generous with the portions. One of the best salads I've ever had! Both dishes were so good, my sister and I went there a second time (the next night) during our trip and ordered the same thing! read more

The nicest restaurant at the Great Wolf Lodge. Service was friendly. The food was pretty good. The wine list was OK. I'd rate the restaurant as barely above average. For example, I ordered the New York strip. It was cooked perfectly, but the quality of the beef was not great. My wife had the same comment about the Steak Frites, although she said her grilled shrimp were delicious. My kids loved it, which counts for a lot after a long day at the water park. My older son enjoyed his grilled Salmon, but I tasted a bite and would again rate it similarly to the beef. Prepared well, but I've had better fish before. The cornbread was super sweet. Way too sugary, could barely taste the corn. Our waitress was friendly and nice. She didn't know the difference between real and creamy horseradish. I had to remind her about the wine I ordered which was sitting in the bar window for a while. Try to get a table inside unless you want to eat withing earshot of a kids dance party in the evening. read more

I don't recommend this restaurant located in Wolf Lodge at all. It's there nicer one with a bar. There was a long wait and even with a reservation, we were still seated way later than promised. If you're with hungry kids that have been playing all day, waiting an extra thirty minutes feels like an hour and if we return, we'll leave property to dine elsewhere. The girls at the podium could use a lesson in friendly customer service. We were seated in a corner and right next to a pile of high chairs when there were other open tables. We had Tatiana, she was nice just very slow or seemed inexperienced. We got our appetizer with our entrées. We almost finished our entrées our $15 cocktails arrived. I ordered a blood orange mule and the hubbs ordered a peach old fashion. I was getting ready to return my pinesol tasting drink. It was disgusting, but my hubby said he'll drink it. Our food wasn't hot and our kids mac and cheese was served last. This experience overall was a disappointment especially since we were hotel guests. At least we'll know for next stay that this place isn't worth revisiting. read more

In Sundays, restaurants serving warm food close at 9pm. The only restaurant open, Barnwood, closes at 10pm. No where on the app does it say kitchen closes at 9:30. I got there at 9:40 and waited 12 minutes in line to place a to go order. They served people ahead of me. When they got to me, they said the kitchen is closed. Both the restaurant manager and the general manager were apologetic, but offered no compensation. They basically said politely there is nothing they can do. I was very surprised at the quality of food nestled in a water park. We ended up eating here more than once due to the variety of offerings, once for lunch and once for dinner on separate days. It's great for large groups, kids and adults alike. The staff is very accommodating and super friendly. For the type of food I'd also say very reasonably priced. We had a lot of dining credits, so we decided to use them at Barnwood, the "fanciest" restaurant at Great Wolf Lodge. To our surprise, the food was quite good. My partner and I sat at the bar while the kids went off to find their quests with the wands. I can't recall the specific drinks we ordered, but mine came in a tin can called "Summer Camping," and it was delicious. My partner also enjoyed his drink. Since I prefer not to drink alcohol without having food, we started with the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, which was yummy! When the kids joined us, we moved to a table for dinner. We all shared some incredibly messy Jumbo Chicken Wings. I enjoyed the Hickory BBQ sauce, although the rest of the table preferred the Korean Hot & Spicy flavor. My daughter and I shared the Mac & Cheese. There were three different kinds on the menu, but I can't remember which one we had. My daughter loved it, although it was a bit spicy for my taste. My partner and his daughter shared a burger, and since I didn't hear any complaints, it must have been good. On the second night, we decided to go all out since it was our last evening and I still had plenty of dining credits left. We opted for family-style dining: 1) Pork Belly - sweet and dangerous. So good. 2) Cornbread - perfectly sweet and moist. 3)Salad - for something green. 4) Braised Short Rib Bolognese - tasty and meaty. 5) Shrimp Alfredo? - So creamy and delicious. 6) S'mores for the Table - fun! chocolate fondue, marshmallow, pretzels, strawberries, graham crackers (we were so full, we had this to go). Came back again while staying at the lodge. Dropped in around 5:15 without reservation and was seated quickly. This place was like before. Well maintained. Still cozy and clean. Originally wanted brut but was out of order? Got a Prosecco instead. Kids ordered chicken tender and Mac cheese. It was good and relatively well balanced. I ordered chili chicken bowl with rice replaced with veggies (mushroom, squash etc). Food was delicious. My chicken bowl was awesome. The crema was great but I didn't need it. I will say it's the only food worth eating at the Great Wolf Lodge Resort. We ordered Chicken Wings (mix of Buffalo and BBQ) and their Cheeseburgers with Fries. It was good but again, it is considered their fine dining restaurant so it is on the pricier end for just wings and burgers. I think they do need a better system for reservations. Also, during the kids party, it'd be nice to sit at the edge of the restaurant to be able to see your kids but they are "reserved". Reserved for I don't know what. Hosts at the front are not very welcoming to the point that you don't want to support their business. We had credit for food to spend and is the only reason why we ate there. read more

Back again this year and my dish taste better. The salmon was cooked well and the rice pilaf has nice flavor to it. This is still a nicer restaurant inside the lodge. We can find more variety than park food. When it's crowded food takes a bit longer, but still tolerable wait for better food. The ambiance is a nice rustic restaurant. Customer service here was exceptional. Staff were kind and friendly. We made a reservation for 10+ and our table was ready when we arrived. It was a Monday night and not busy at all. We ordered the Shrimp Alfredo, Short Rib Bolognese, Kids Buttered Noodles and the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. The food was overall decent, it was really nothing too special, but we walked away full and fairly satisfied. They have a full bar and some good beer options. Waitress needs to be trained to be more organized and professional. We asked for a shot with a pineapple chaser and were brought back the pineapple itself, which was fine. Then we waited for our two 16oz glasses of beer, which were never brought out until later by someone else. They only brought us one glass and then the second. We told our waitress we were ready to order, but she disappeared. It was Monday, and it wasn't even busy. Later, she came back and asked again if we were ready, and we told her our order she never asked how we want our steak done, we had to tell her. When she finally brought out our food, my steak was raw. I asked for medium rare, and when I got my steak back, the sides were overdone. The middle was medium rare and okay, but it had no flavor. Anyway, we asked for the check, and she asked if we were paying with a card or our room. After we told her our room number, she just walked away without saying anything. And we waited awhile and nothing, so we thought she was going to charge our room as we walked away from our table, you can hear The Whispers from behind us asking if we had paid. That's when the waitress came after us. Asking for us to sign the receipt, which we did. However, everything was handled very unprofessionally. We could have been communicated more appropriately by the waitress to let us know all what's going on. We came here on a Sunday evening, there were at least 10 empty tables but they still made us wait for 15 min for a table. Food is good but the food wait time is a bit long. Pretzel is a must try! Ok, make a reservation a few days in advance. That's a given. Your in a huge hotel with tons of family. It didn't seem like they seated all the tables so maybe it's a kitchen throughout thing. We were seated right at our 630 reservation time, while others were being told at least an hour wait despite empty tables. The ambience is lacking, more cafeteria than fine dining, but again what do you expect. Our service was INCREDIBLE! Wish I remembered her name for a shout out. She was proactive, suggested things, let the kids try the $8 mock tails before picking one, and was super friendly. She was 5 stars +. And the food was fine. Not earth shattering by any means, but better than we expected. Wings for an app (waitress suggested we get half buffalo and half bbq when we couldn't decide), burgers and ribs for the boys, and a wilderness bowl for my wife (she was stunned how good it was). This is the restaurant located inside the great wolf lodge . We were here for the weekend for my cousins birthday . Let's get into it . We made reservations and was seated in a separate area im assuming is reserved for bigger parties so thank goodness we made that reservation! Because it was busy and very limited food options in the lodge . Our main waitress was very nice and accommodating! She nailed everyone's order and was so sweet and helpful , but over all staff was friendly ! Me and my uncle got steak , I got mines medium rare with mash potatoes , he got his well with Fries and added prawns . They nailed it ! Mines was definitely medium rare and juicy the way I like it . My granny got a half rack of ribs but it was a huge portion for it to be a half rack . She loved the bbq sauce it came with . My aunt got the chicken and surprisingly it wasn't dry ! Very juicy . The kids cheese burger was even impressive the bun was buttered ! The only thing I was kinda surprised about was for all of our food to be great and prepared fresh , the kids Mac and cheese literally looked like box Mac n cheese from Kraft !
