Very professional and truly seem to care about their customers. They go the extra mile to be sure you are completely satisfied. Elly even sent me a message a few days after my appointment with her to ask me if a product they tried on my daughter's hair worked for her, and when I told her it did she said they would order a bottle of it for me. I really appreciated that. They also have the best prices of any salon I've ever been to. This might sound silly but this salon reminded me of small town salons like you see in movies (for example, Steel Magnolias). It just has that everybody knows everybody, place for people to congregate and hang out vibe to it. Spend just 15 minutes in this salon and you will feel like you've known the people who work there for years. My daughter and I had a truly phenomenal experience with Head Games Salon!

There are spills all over the walls and hair everywhere. Each stylist has their area which some maintain better than others and Lyndi's area is well maintained. During the haircut, I explained that I wanted my long layers to start higher. Midway through the service, the stylist stepped away to attend to another client. When she returned, she quickly finished the cut without checking back in on the layering or confirming how I wanted it styled. There was no offer to curl or style my hair at the end of the appointment. I left feeling disappointed because I expected to walk out with a finished look, not have to go home and do the styling myself. Overall, the experience felt rushed and inattentive, which did not meet my expectations for a professional appointment.

I don't know if it is the light placement or the tone of the light, but I looked pretty ragged in the mirror. My hair looked frizzy and gross and not at all like me. I commented to the stylist about it and she agreed that many clients have similar comments. So - as long as you understand that what the mirror shows isn't really what you look like, then your expectations will be met. The staff was very friendly. I chose Salon 124 because some online reviews of other local salon staff sort of scared me away from the other salons. I don't want a "snobby" salon. I want a salon that will be happy to see me, whether I am a mom who just needs an afternoon away from home or whether I am a fashionista who cares about the latest hair trends. I want to walk in to smiles and a "Welcome! We are happy to have you."
