I went in there with my girlfriend to buy something very simple didn't even talk to the employees and was met with consistent scoffing and disrespect from a male employee wearing dress pants, Jesus sandals and a button-down linen shirt like he owned the place. Not sure who he was, but him consistently following me around the store and giving me attitude and sassy remarks had me in blatant disbelief, especially because I never even talk to him or asked him for advice yet he felt the need to follow me around with my girlfriend and embarrass us as we walk through the store as a returning customer. I just had the most weird and uncomfortable experience at this location. I used one of the disposable lip gloss sticks provided at the stations to try on a shade and a man/employee came up to me and basically scolded me for doing so. He seemed to think that I was being sneaky and condescendingly said he was just telling me for my own health and safety not to do that......what are the testers for then? I understand the health concern but the way he approached me was as if I'd committed a crime. I couldn't even tell he was an employee, so it genuinely scared me being approached like that while minding my own business. Beware of the grey haired older gentleman working here. What has happened to good service? I was waiting to be checked out- 5:50 pm and waited in line for some time. I noticed the two cashiers at the front of the register by the door. I watched them as I waited and they were chuckling and having a great time- I hear The little one say to the girl With the black Curley hair, what the F is she staring at?" My first thought was to call her out but I'll just leave a review for her manager. My cashier was lovely (Jaden) so no issues with her. Hope you really do read the reviews- the girl with the fresh mouth was an employee btw and left the store after this comment. Focus should always be on the customer and the line. We're here spending $153.00 on shampoo while these entitled young ladies are insulting your customers and making them wait while they have chit chats at the registers. Totally ridiculous. Went to store at 1PM, basically no only a couple of customer's there. Only one person in front of us, with many items, and she tells the cashier (Guiselle) that she couldn't find an item, so then the cashier calls for back up for someone to help the customer, but in the meantime she did not help us (we had one item), and it took about seven minutes for the customer to come back with the item, and then pick a gift before she helped us. If she had some common send she would of taking care of us in the meantime, while the customer was away. Also, the store's temperature was like 80 degreess. read more

I went to Ulta in Delray to add more blond highlights to my hair and was consulted by the most amazing hair 'artist' named Paula Vance. She looked at my hair and told me she was taking me back to my roots and literally she did. I walked out a redhead. She is positively amazing. Took the time to consult and shared with the team what she was going to do with my hair. The whole place was excited to see the results and the result was beyond gorgeous. Because of Paula, I am a new girl. She is a joy to be around. Her positive energy is infectious. She makes you feel so comfortable, and special. Chatting with her was a delight. I walked away from the shop feeling like I just got a new friend in life. I shall never go to anyone else. She is my hairdresser for life. Can't say enough wonderful things about her. I've never written a review like this before, but my experience at the Ulta brow bar with Monica was so dissapointing, I feel like people should know. I had an appointment scheduled, showed up, and was already sitting at the brow bar when Monica told me she had to cancel five minutes into the appointment. When asking why she said it's policy after 5 minutes. AS I WAS THERE!! Instead of owning it or apologizing, she acted like I was the inconvenience. The tone she used was rude and completely unprofessional. She made me so uncomfortable. She was cold, dismissive, and even tried to make it seem like I misunderstood the situation which couldn't be further from the truth. It felt like she was gaslighting me for being frustrated that she canceled my appointment, after I was already seated and ready. This wasn't just a scheduling mix-up--it was a complete lack of accountability and basic customer service. I walked out feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable. It was clear she had no interest in making it right or even treating me with respect when she called me after she YELLED at me. I will absolutely never be back to this Ulta location. If you're looking for brow services, I highly recommend going somewhere that values their clients and treats them with basic courtesy. If I could leave negative stars I would, I am a retail store manager and I've never experienced such a encounter in my years of working retail and being consumer. Hi was racially profiled by Ulta rent a cop security guard and while I was looking at make up selections for a highlight and contour palette absolutely NO ONE approached me and asked me if I needed assistance. The security guard made me extremely uncomfortable and made me feel unsafe and as if I did not belong. Can you believe I drive here from Miami, just to have my haircut by Priscila!!! Yes, it literally takes me an hour to get there but it is so worth going because Priscila really understands my hair like no other! And that is why I make the trek there! I went to this Ulta in Delray yesterday and this is what Stacy did to my hair. This was my first time getting my hair done at this salon. I walked in a few days prior and had a consult with Stacy. I communicated that I wanted a simple haircut before our family vacation. Stacy suggested face framing and I agreed. I had thick, long hair prior to seeing Stacy and from the very beginning, I knew something was off. Stacy cut my hair while sitting down. She was propped on a stool, below the top of my head, and I was worried about my hair not being cut evenly. I should have ran before it got worse. Unfortunately, I didn't. When she started cutting my face frame, she took the scissors and cut a huge chunk of the right side. I screamed and she said, that is how it's supposed to be cut. The chunk of my hair was cut straight across, instead of at an even angle. See the chunk of my right side on the floor. She lazily dried my hair with ten round brushes sitting in my hair at the same time. What happened to a normal blow dry with one round brush? She said, that this is a prefect haircut. I asked for a manager and was told he is on vacation and that Will was filling in. Will was mostly silent with a look of shock on his face. Stacy didn't apologize or take any ownership for butchering my hair! Stacy disappeared after and I was left by myself for what seemed like forever. I left crying and I feel absolutely traumatized. This is the absolute worst haircut I have ever had in my life and I cannot believe that no one from Ulta has bothered to reach out to me. No one deserves this type of treatment. read more

I love Ulta, I really do; but this store needs some help. It's hit or miss. At times the store is organized and at other times it's as messy as the panty table at Victoria Secret on Christmas eve. This review is solely based upon my shopping experiences within the store. The sales team is also hit or miss. A few of the associates are eager to help & then you see the ones standing in the corner texting on their phones. Shouldn't the sales associates focus on helping customers? I get so frustrated walking around looking for assistance & seeing the sales girls paying more attention to their phones and are completely oblivious to the customers in the store. Clearly the staff would benefit from some much needed guidance and supervision. Management, please step up & manage & motivate your team. Other Ulta locations have some pretty outstanding employees & their stores always look nice. If those stores can do it, then please tell me why can't the Delray store do it too??? Because you carry the brands I wear, the prices are reasonable and parking is easy, I am very comfortable leaving a three star review. read more

Highlight: This is a solid beauty supplies store next to giant Sephora that offers cosmetics, hair products, face wash, lotions, and other spa needs ranging from some generic products one can find in the drug store to fancier end things. hint: hit up their clearance rack once in a while to get some SUPER good savings and good buys. Noting wrong with the product, but probably just discontinued or they got new stuff and booted out some that were not as popular. They also have make up consultant and hair dressers and a skin specialist here for your needs. Cosmetics: If you cant find it in the drug store, you'll find it here- every make up line, mainstream or esoteric will be here in Ulta Beauty. Higher end products though, like Trish McElroy won't be here- that is my go to line that I've been using. Maybelline, Physicians Formula, Biore, etc etc. Skin products: Pretty solid collection, depending on what you want. If you something more natural, I recommend the tony moly line that promotes natural foods in their products. You can find deals once in a while like B1 get 1/2 off. Hair Products: You won't find your suave here... but you will find some nicer designer salon level stuff here- again, hitting up their clearance rack towards back left of store near the hair straighteners, will introduce you to some new products you otherwise wouldn't have a chance to try out. Make up Consultants/Hair: This is a cosmetic store, not a skin care store- personally the make up styles done here, aren't my style- bc they push the full works to the point where I feel they can layer unnecessary stuff on your face that you don't need. It's a kind of plastic contour look which I think can detract from someone who has excellent skin, so I am not quite sure if I would trust the make up artists here- I went to Nordstrom for a consult instead because the make up here was too coarse for my liking. read more

This is my fav spot to get my hair done, and all my beauty supplies! My last cut was done by Tyler. He was fantastic!!! I came in with a picture and he gave me such a great cut. I went from chin length bob, to a long pixie. He took his time and explained everything to me. This was extremely helpful because I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't see what he was doing! When I go back, I will request Tyler every time. I have also seen Stacey and she is great at cutting as well. She gave me the original bob. read more

I love coming to this Ulta because it is close to my house. The store itself is big, bright and usually clean and organized. I get a lot of my makeup and hair are products from here. They don't always have certain products in stock but that is mostly understandable. The staff for the most part are helpful and nice. Recently I also started using their salon. I first went there to get my hair styled for an event I was going to and I had a great Experience with Nikki. She listened to what I wanted and did a great job. Today I web and got my hair colored and cut with Nikki. She again did a fabulous job. I didn't have a good idea of what color I wanted but she took the vague description I told her and came up with a color I absolutely love.
