I go here to get my brows waxed by Adrienne and she is absolutely amazing. My brows always look incredible and hold their shape until the next wax. Not only is she super talented, but she's warm, lovely and an absolute joy to be around. I look forward to my visit every time! I've been to high end salons, spas, threading places and everywhere in between to get my brows done and this is by far the best brow experience I've ever had. I'll follow Adrienne wherever she goes! Since Ulta opened in Fenton, I've been a regular in their salon. I've had highlights, my hair dyed back to my natural color, many haircuts, and conditioning treatments. My favorite stylist, Taylor, recently left, and she "gave" me over to a new stylist. She was nice, but the one haircut she gave me, I ended up trimming later myself, there were long uncut sections. It's been years since I've had a perm, but decided I wanted to get one, as I'm tired of rollers. I've had regular & spiral perms in the past and never had a problem. But the perm the New stylist gave me was straggly & limp, with some wave, but little curl - she used red & gray rods which I told her I thought were too tight (previous perms I had with white rods). I had to come back and have another stylist even out the cut, to try and give it some shape. It looked better, but the perm was falling out after 3 months. I made an appointment with the the stylist who had done the first perm, since the gal who cut my hair didn't do perms. I made an appointment with the perm stylist (it had now been 4 months with this straggling bad perm). When I arrived, she and another stylist (who I've not met before) told me that perms are only given ONCE A YEAR. My hair is shoulder length and I had just been in 2 weeks ago for a conditioning treatment. She tried to get me to stay for some other EXPENSIVE treatment. I walked out. Cancelled ANY future appointments at Ulta. I will NEVER go to this salon again. I don't enjoy being double-teamed by a couple of 20-somethings who treated me like I was an doddering old idiot. She told me my hair was dry & crunchy ( I had the brand Bed Head (Hard Head) hairspray on, and I told her that's why it feels that way. My hair is soft, no split ends, and shiny ~ just NO CURL. I'll find a new hair stylist, but Ulta's hair stylists lost my business for good. Their loss, as I have always been a big tipper. read more

I saw Nicole for a trim today. My hair was bleached and ruined about a year ago. I've been struggling to grow it back out to it's former glory. Nicole was very nice. She explained every step of the way what she was doing and didn't make any cuts without checking with me that it was okay. She took off the very minimum to make it look and feel healthier and recommended products and ways to style it to help it continue healing. I'm extremely happy with the results and I'd definitely go see her again. read more

I have visited Ulta of Fenton Michigan approximately 5 times. Each time I have not been greeted when I enter the store. One time, a younger woman entered rite behind me (I'm 62) and was greeted openly and with a nice clerk. It made me sad. After todays visit-I'm going to a competitor & I don't ever have to endure that again. js read more

Service: great attitude gals made for a pleasant visit. I especially like Rebecca, she is knowledgeable, fun, and personable. When someone likes products, it shows! She gave product comparison info and really wants the best products for a customer. (What a total change from Novi store).
