Last visit was w/a friend and one of the younger ladies wrote something on a paper to show another employee, pointed to another customer and they both immediately started giggling and judging with their eyes. It was clear they were mocking a customer as the giggling, laughing and heading nodding moved in the lady's direction every time she moved, unbeknowsnt to her of course. Earlier the younger one was loudly complaining how annoying some lady shopping in the back was... while the lady was till there.. O_o I'd have no problem shopping here again if they can get the young girls in check to just do the job and save he smack talking for later.

I have been an unlimited member with Madison Reed since April 2025 (15 months). I have had my hair…read morecolored 30 times during this time because the color fades and washes out too quickly. I don't complain about this, it is unlimited. I can come as many times a month as I choose. They are never on time. For a 35-minute service, I allow 2 hours. I blow my own hair. I have accepted this because of the price. At my last appointment, on 5/28 they were short-staffed. The location was dirty. There was hair all over the floor. The counter tops were dirty. The bathroom was overflowing with dirty paper towels. They were out of cotton discs and color remover for your skin. The schedule was 40 minutes behind. No one complained. They offered an option to reschedule to people. But today.... I was 15 minutes late. Yes, I was. AND I was told my appointment was cancelled. I drove 45 minutes from home as I had done 30 times and was turned away. I asked for the color to do it at home and was told NO. I have an unlimited membership for a year and 3 months. But NO. So, I don't recommend Madison Reed. The color fades fast, the location is filthy, and they are always late. Their customer service... well, not too good either.

I visited this past weekend for hair and makeup services for a wedding. That said, the hair and makeup artists did a great job. I was really happy with how my look turned out. My daughter had her hair curled and light makeup done. Her curls did fall quickly, but someone was kind enough to redo them before we left, which I appreciated. Overall, I was happy with the quality of their work and the pricing. I also noticed in other reviews that people mentioned pressure to sign up for a membership--I didn't feel that at all. They asked once, I said no, and that was the end of it. In the end, despite a rocky start, I was pleased with the results and would consider going back.

I was nervous since I didn't do a dry run but honestly was amazed at the results! They made me feel and look like a movie star! They also asked about my dress color to make sure they used complimentary colors and asked about my personal preferences (I wanted a more natural look). The artist was so super friendly! I felt like I had known her a long time and we had the most lovely conversation while I was there (even finding out we vacation at the same spot every year!). I highly recommend!
