Kelsi listened to my tales of bad haircuts so patiently and we had time to talk about the style I wanted--asymmetrical a-line, and even showed her some previous good haircuts I had. At first, she was going very conservative with the amount cut off, but we both realize that I have too much hair and need to pivot with removing volume via texturizing scissors without sacrificing the shape. She was also VERY rough the entire time, even if I mentioned it to her here and there and I felt a bit uncomfortable because the procedure takes a few hours and she was not very talkative at all. After everything, my hair turned out very badly and the top layers of my hair did not even take to the perm/curl. This means only the bottom layers of my hair are curled and the top layers are legitimately just straight/slightly wavy. I'm skeptical that this happened because my hairdresser started rushing towards the end of things. Only giving 3 stars because when I later asked if they could do anything for me, the kind woman at the front was very understanding and helpful. In the end, she was able to refund me some of the cost from getting a crappy perm.

Hi, I am writing a review about my haircut at Great Clips. Unfortunately, it was a bad haircut for…read moreme. It was totally opposite of what I wanted for a haircut. I don't like writing bad reviews and I'm sorry I have to let you know about my bad experience. She did not pin up my hair at all. She just had me bend my head down and trimmed the ends most likely. This is why the ends are just straight and not flipping/rolling under and have fullness. Also, she did not check the whole haircut all the way around pulling the sides down into the back to make sure everything is even. Both sides are not even all the way around and the length on both sides is not even. In other words, one side is longer than the other. Also, she did not dry my hair after she wet it down to cut it. I was not ok with that and didn't know why it wasn't dried when she was done cutting it. With my hair being fine texture, I need that body, voume and fullness with the undercut. My hair looked better before I got it cut than after. She cut off all the undercut that was left from before. Now it is very frizzy, fuzzy and it separates into strands and hangs straight. It does not look nice at all when it hangs like that. That's why I need the undercut. Again, I'm sorry to have to let you know about my haircut, but I am not happy with it. And I am sorry this review is so long also, but management has a right to know about how peoples' haircuts turn out so the hairstylists will do better in the future.
