I showed Neshia my Inspo photo of my headshot that I'm using on my job site SM platforms and explained I need to be camera ready for virtual meetings. She immediately knew what I needed and used Cecred products, finished the cut that was started , and demonstrated her knowledge for maintenance going forward. I've had a terrible experience here with a simple root touch-up on 2 separate occasions. Each time they left me with hot roots. The 1st time they corrected it but the 2nd time they refused to because I was "past the 7 day window" So they left me with a very unprofessional root touch up that looks like cheetah print. Shopped here and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. I encountered two employees a blonde woman (who goes by Chelsea) and a Latina woman with long hair -- whose behavior was completely unacceptable and left me feeling uncomfortable. It's truly disappointing to witness this type of conduct in 2025, especially in a city like Saint Cloud that is becoming increasingly diverse. It's important to shed light on the racial bias and discrimination that still sadly exist in establishments like this. There is no place for employees who treat customers in this manner. So as a guy I never really come in to Ulta, but today begin holidays and having to buy mother in law and my mom some make up stuff, my son and I decided to join her. Customer service has never been an issue, which is great, but I have to say that customer service goes in conjunction with cleanliness. My son wanted to go to the bathroom so we go in and noticed that first this was this horrible smell coming from the restrooms and then when we got in we saw how dirty it was. It looks like the mens bathroom rarely gets used, so this may mean that it's never really cleaned as it should be. That paper in the trash was our paper. The toilet was terrible. From concealer to cleansers to helping me pick a curling iron for my daughter, there simply isn't a time when they aren't helpful. I was unaware to ask if there are levels in stylist's experience. It's been a year, and I'm still disappointed that Cynthia didn't deliver the results I wanted. When she & I talked in person, she said she can make my hair look like the picture I showed her. I asked how many times will I need to come in and how much will it cost. She said 3 sessions. Although I was nervous after the 2nd session that my hair wasn't lightening as much as she expected, she assured me that after the 3rd session, I will walk out of the salon looking like the picture. At the end of the 3rd session, she said I'de have to come back for more lightening treatments....so I asked her how many, and she said she didn't know. After spending over $600 in services, to NOT get the end result I was assured to get....I cut my losses and didn't return. read more

The staff are very kind but the shop is poorly stocked. They had 0/3 items I was looking for (had space for them but didn't have them out or in their back-stock). I don't believe it was just the products I was looking for that were low in inventory, the store had multiple areas that appeared low. I usually go to the Ulta at the loop and have never had an issue finding the products I was trying to buy so was a little surprised they were out of all of them at this location. read more

Our daughter needed a quarantine cut after going 6 months without. Our stylist was great! Listened to our daughter in her request and understood her need for low maintenance. She's quite happy and so am I. I like how I was able to pick up stuff for my brows while I was there, too! read more

Love Ulta. All around one stop shopping. I haven't tried the salon but love that you can get all you beauty products here and get your hair cut. The store is well organized and not cluttered in the least. Love the perfume and OPI nail section. Great addition to the new St. Cloud Commons Shopping center. The people in the front are either rude or clueless. Female was unable to find a suitable foundation for my fair skin and had to ask a male yo help me. The color was ok, but not the best match. The rudeness of the salon staff is unbelievable. They ignore you as you stand before them. Why they went into a customer service area is beyond me. Had an appointment with Ciera M. For full highlights. Will never go back to this salon due to the experience I had with her. To start she asked me what I was wanting to do..I was confused because I made the appointment online and it was booked for a full highlight but people get there and change their mind sometimes so I didn't think too much of it. Then she starts asking if I lift well and what level my hair is...I'm a client not someone who went to beauty school to be able to answer those questions. I explained to her that I've been getting baby lights when my hair was long, but being that I recently cut my hair short, I just wanted a regular full highlight done. She does have good energy about her and we were talking the whole time she was doing my hair and I hadn't even realized how much time had gone by. My appointment was at 11:15 I believe and a little after 1pm I was still getting foils which I thought I was a really long time. Around 1:30 we went to the bowl to do my hair and I was back there for so long that my neck started to hurt but I was too nice to say anything. She first washed my hair and then put a mask on it and left it in my hair for about 15 mins then came back and then put toner in my hair. Now you cannot have toner in your hair for too long otherwise you turn silver. She even said I didn't need to have it on my hair for more than 2 mins since I didn't have a bunch of hair to nourish. 15-20 mins went by before she came to wash it out of my hair!!! I heard her talking to her co workers because around this time is when additional stylists were I guess clocking in for the day. My guess is she forgot I had toner and not a mask in my hair or forgot in general because she was too busy talking to realize. She then takes me back to the chair and asks me what I think about the color....my hair was soaking wet so it's impossible to give an opinion at this point and she also realized that after asking and apologized. She sections my hair off for the blow dry then ends up having to take it down because she forgot to put heat protection on my hair. While she's blow drying, I notice the bottom of my hair looking just as dark as it was when I came in, only difference Is there are a few SILVER threads of highlights. I had to stop her from blow drying to tell her that I was dissatisfied at what my hair looked like and I felt honestly I was blonder when I came In for the appointment and she said "really?". Then tells me she did baby lights on me and due to how much root I had, it'll take another session to get rid of. I told her I did not ask for baby lights and wanted full highlights, to which she replied "oh". This explains why it was taking so long!! I told her to finish the blow dry for the whole head so I could see how the rest of the hair looked and the more she blow dryed and I saw my hair I was on the verge of tears. When she finished I said it was fine but truthfully I was so upset and didn't want any more interaction and she just wanted to leave. She prints out the bill and on my walk to the counter to pay, I looked at it and she charged me an additional $25 for an olaplex hair treatment I never even asked for, nor did she advise me of the mask's additional cost. If she had, I would've declined. I have olaplex at home that I use. I didn't even want to go back and get into that so I left. This was a day I was excited for because my birthday was in a few days and I wanted fresh highlights. I ended up getting the wrong service, color I wasn't happy with, being there for hours and add on charges. It took a few washes but I finally got the silver hue out of my hair and the blonde is not the shade I wanted despite showing Ciera a picture of the blonde I wanted. It also looks like I still need my roots done and when you lift up my hair, there is a lot of dark still. So upset. Never had this type of experience at ulta's salon and will not be returning to this specific location. read more

My review is simply for the salon. I was in a time crunch as I had to change my hair quickly to comply with dress code for a new position I took. I went for a consultation before my appointment and was told an amount for partial highlights, root touch up, a few strips of a different color to be removed. The color is faded and hardly too labor intensive. I was happy with the quote and without having the luxury of waiting I made an appointment for the next day. I arrived for my appointment a few minutes early. Was told the stylist wasn't in yet. Ten minutes after my appointment time I was called to her seat. 40 minutes later, after she was in the back reading what appeared to be instructions, she came back with a piece of paper and prices more than DOUBLE what she told me the prior day. A ton of extra crap I didn't ask for and nearly $100 to remove to strips of faded purple from my hair, plus $120 for partial Highlights and another$85 for root touch up. So 50 minutes into my appointment I was told it'd be double what I was told and I was still sitting in the chair with nothing don't to my hair as other than the stylist combing it. I told her I was going to leave as I was uncomfortable with the pricing and her apparent lack of knowledge. (I've never ever saw a stylist reading documentation as she mixed color. Ever. ) and I'm definitely thankful I did. Please save yourself a hair mishap and go elsewhere! read more

Valery Rice at Ulta in St.Cloud is the most genuine, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable person I've come across in a long time. She has helped me more then she knows. Her knowledge of the product (Clinique) is impressive. She takes her time, treats you as a person, not as a sale or commission. If you need anything at all, go see Valery. Return policy is different than the information of what you get online. Staff was polite, I called costumer service and they thought it was strange in the manner they handled my return, I won't be shopping at ulta stores anymore. The makeup is very expensive and if it doesn't work for you, there should be a generous return policy, like at Walmart, or even SEPHORA. read more

First off I do hair and I am the worst when it comes to trusting anyone to cut my hair ... so I had received a subpar haircut and I'm not going to lie. I went and bought a Red Sox's hat to wear. I DO NOT WEAR HATS. I met Stephanie the salon manager and I asked her if she would take on giving me a nice cut working with what I had left let me tell you something this girl is an angel. I would trust her from going from black hair to blonde if I ever wanted too. LOL She gave me such an amazing cut and she literally made me cry when I got to my car because I was so happy. I could not be more happy with the service I received. IT WAS THE BEST HAIR SERVICE I have EVER received. Give all the the awesome girls at the salon at Ulta a chance. They are just wonderful. So I went to a different ulta about 2 weeks ago for a cut and color and the lady at that salon just chopped my hair off it was horribly uneven and just all around bad I asked the lady for long bangs and she chopped them way to short.. And because I have thick Puerto Rican hair and the Florida humidity does not go well with my hair I knew I needed some kind of treatment to tame this extremely short haircut I was given. So I decided to give the new ulta in St.cloud a chance I went in looking to either try and get a perm or a smoothing treatment. My stylist Nikki was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! She fixed my haircut and I love it so much now!!! She couldn't do much to the bangs but that was understandable. I didn't get either treatment at the moment but we did a different one that was a little less and almost like the smoothing treatment and then curled my hair so it was like I had the best of both worlds with the smoothing treatment and the perm and it should last me about 2 months!!! I will definitely be going back to this ulta salon!! read more
