I truly haven't had many bad experiences at this Ulta location. I've gotten my hair done twice here. Both times I got express Keratin treatments by two different stylist and they were great experiences. In addition to that, I've also just browsed, shopped, and picked up makeup here. I went here to find a new foundation and was helped by two ladies who were friendly and helped me match my foundation. The store is usually well stocked and easy to nagvigate, not to mention clean! It is close to my home so it's usually my go-to Ulta. The only that sucks about this location is sometimes the parking! read more

Let's start with I'm an Ulta Beauty lover for sure! All my items come from Ulta. I normally go to the Ulta in Saint Cloud but this one had my Rodman Fields serum in stock so I did a pick up and of course had to shop around and that's where I went wrong. This store was absolutely disgusting. Every shelf every item is crusty filled with dust and lacking cleaning. Not a little but caked on crust and dust as if it's been months! I have been going to Ulta since 2008 because I truly do love your store and products. However, this Ulta gets progressively worse over the years. There is a sense of arrogance from the team to managers. It's almost as if customers are bothering them and instead of helping with the long lines, they will dismiss you. It's to the point in which I rather drive to St.Cloud or Margaritaville. I really hope someone really starts to address this store before customers just completely give up on it. read more

I absolutely can not stand this store and will no longer be shopping at this location. I love Ulta, but this location consistently has barren shelves, long lines and severely pushy associates. I like to shop on my own. It is increasingly frustrating when you're asked if you need help by the same associate 3 times, who is insistent on telling you what is best for you skin etc. I've had acne my whole adult life. I spent years studying skincare and ingredients and found amazing products that work for my skin type that solved my problem immediately with long lasting results. I don't need a sales pitch on your products, especially the most expensively priced ones, when I know what works for my skin. For this reason, I am no longer returning to this location. I love Ulta for beauty products especially the deals but not this location. This is the closest one to my home but I try to shop other locations such as Lee Vista because they will have 20 people waiting in line and one cashier open. During the recent Thanksgiving to Christmas holiday I tried to shop several times but left the store and abandoned my selections because I did not have the time to wait to check out. They have a great loyalty program and extra benefits during your birthday month. On a recent visit there was about 12 people in line and again one cashier. There was about 5 employees standing in the front chatting and laughing, including the supervisor. Behind the counter there was a guy standing there texting or something for 10 minutes. I think he was off the clock because he was in casual clothes, but you don't know how frustrating it is waiting in line with one person handling the registers. I was in the area shopping on December 29th and again a line however this time they had all the registers open and I only waited 12 minutes to check out. read more

Today has been a long day and as I enter the second Ulta Beauty store of the day I just pray that my daughter can find what she needs at this one since the second store didn't have what she needed. I ask a gentleman named Xavier if he could help us out with finding a certain foundation my daughter needed. He was very nice asking how our day is going as we follow him to the brand of foundations. I briefly told him what kind of day we had and he said he hopes that he can help us out so we can finally go home. Well they didn't have the color she needed there either and before I even got to say anything he said anything we don't have in the store we can order for you and have it shipped to your home at no additional cost, (which I never knew) but then said let me just double check the back room just in case. I was in need of all new makeup so decided to give ulta a try! I walked in was overwhelmed by all The choices! So excited! But sadly no one greeted me, no one asked me if I needed any help, mind you I looked like a lost puppy sniffing all the products. After five employees passed I noticed they started asking other women who seemed to have experience in the glam world if they needed assistance. I was confused. Always kind of unorganized and packed, however, employees are helpful, when you seek them out and will help you find what your looking for and/or even make selections based on what you need. What I like the most about this store is that there are some products, specifically the Korean Beauty products (which are widely known for being awesome), that have bigger and better selections when compared to other Ulta stores. There are a lot of Korean face masks sold here that I can't find in other Ulta Stores. It mostly seems stocked, with the exception of popular products that disappear as quickly as they are restocked;but this happens in every Ulta store. Finally, this Ulta store has a beauty salon, just like other Ulta stores, but I have not been a customer at their salon. Only have visited this store to buy and return products. read more

I'm very let down. I spent $275 to refresh my mushroom blonde hair, but instead, I got dark brown. They promised a fix for free which didn't deliver - they not only failed to lighten it but also made it darker. Although the correction was complimentary, it didn't really fix the issue. They put on the receipt of lined items, a service called Blond Me lightener, that wasn't even used during the fix... resulting in only refund of only $67. Despite tipping the stylist for her effort, the frustration of spending so much money to end up with a color I didn't want feels like a waste of money and of my time(8 hours total between both appointments). The original stylist lacked the needed toner and didn't lighten my hair enough too. Honesty about these limitations from the start would have allowed me to reschedule instead of this huge disappointment of a job. I left crying. If I could give 0 stars I would. I came into this store on a Tuesday morning 2 weeks ago hoping to replace my current foundation with something new. I think I asked 3 times for assistance, each time I was directed to a young woman who was already doing her best at helping 3 other people, while 3 additional employees stood phones in hand at the register not even lifting theirs to see people in front of them. I asked for help from 2 employees at the brow bar whom informed me that they can't help because they don't work for ulta. I walked the store looking for help, ended up grabbing something similar to what I was looking for. And leaving. I had every intention in picking out close to 200-300$ worth of products as mine were damaged but left using a gift card I had to use for ulta. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Used online order and store pick up to this location, it's very easy! You walk in a there are signs directing you to the counter and you just present your email and ID and away you go. The loop is a pretty intimidating plaza but the ulta sticks out with its orange awnings so it's easy to find. They carry "the ordinary" products which I was super happy about! read more

Worst experience I've had in a store during this pandemic not monitoring the amount of people in the store no signage as to where the line was so stood there for a while with five other people who thought the line was where we were and there was no signage while a team member yelled across the registers and in the face if they guess they were helping to tell us we were in the wrong place. No markers for social distancing for the line, Line running through a section of make up so then not only were the people in line not social distancing but now we had people trying to get to make up where we were standing there was nowhere for me to go away from the people who are not wearing a mask properly and coughing. I had never been in this store before and I didn't know that they had a salon so I was excited when I saw online that they were nearby and open when my regular place was closed. The lady at the salon counter made me feel so unwanted just with her expression and demeanor that I could before I spoke how she would react. I asked if I could get a haircut. She hemmed and hawed for a moment and looked back at the two other employees and asked if they could cut my hair. The one male stylist came out and looked me over a bit before offering an expression of disgust as he shook his head and said sorry. The time was 7:45pm and the salon and store closed at 9:00pm. There were three stylists and one was working with a customer and nobody was willing to commit to a simple men's haircut - something that should take 15-20 minutes. The lady at the counter said they get off at 9 and they "try not to take any customers so late." Again, the store and salon were both open for an hour and 15 minutes more. The experience left me feeling unwanted and gross. The way they all had to look me over before deciding they didn't have time. I would steer clear of this place. read more

Walked on ready to buy a good amount of new makeup and a few essentials..It was 3 weeks ago during the week but busy. A heavily made up girl (Dark hair and "thick")she walked past me and I was about to ask if they carry Dr Gross..she blasted past me and ignored me..this happened with 3 other women. I wandered around while some girl up front was doing video tutorials in Spanish with her dad and someone else not letting anyone near the tables of deals. (Urban Decay table which I wanted to check out) nobody said a thing to her. I saw a "pretty" guy going back and forth stocking and actually working til I headed around the perfumes to go ask for help..about 25 minutes of nobody even remotely wanting to even say hello let alone offer assistance. By the time I got there 4 employees were leaning on the area by the last row of makeup by the perfumes on their phones. Second time I have totally been ignored in this location..The ironic part is I went over to Sephora in JC Penney and dropped $487 . I got a hello and a compliment on my boots before I was all the way in that tiny shop. To the management at Ulta..your floor employees would be fired if I were their manager. There is NO reason to be ignored AND sit together on the floor on their phones. You just lost my business 100% . I would have scored this location very low on my shoppers report. read more

Had a great experience today at Ulta! Came in for a exchange and ran into some complications. My first cashier was very friendly and understanding and called the manager, Rasinia to assist me. Even their security officer was huge help in the exchange process! He showed me a booklet of the 'The Ordinary' products which was much more detailed than online. I looked through it to find exactly what I needed in just a few minutes. The exchange was smooth and the service here was phenomenal! I scheduled a hair appointment online with Alex. The night before, I received a confirmation call from the store. I arrived on the day of my appointment, checked in and was instructed to sit down. Alex was coloring another client's hair, understandable. However, he had just begun to color her hair. I sat down and waited but after waiting past a little past my appointment time without anyone coming with an update, an offer of water/coffee (although I heard other stylists offer their clients these items), or anything. I stood up in the waiting area, yet visible to Alex, and he was still coloring the client's hair, talking to another stylist who was sitting by him, as well as the client. He looked my way and said, "I will be with you shortly." Then he proceeded to say to the client and other hairstylist, in a lower voice, although I could clearly hear it from where I was still standing looking at my phone, "I don't know how she got on my schedule. She isn't supposed to have this appointment." The other stylist replied, "Right!?" I looked up at them and when they saw I noticed, they continued to talk, although I could not understand what they were saying, and giggle. Another hairsylist, Javier, came over and asked if I was being helped to which I replied that I was waiting for Alex but that he could help me if he'd like to. Alex immediately jumped in and replied, "You can take her." Javier kindly said he had another client coming in, but that he would take me and when his client came in, he would take care of his scheduled client and then return to me. I agreed. While Javier was cutting my hair, I overhead Alex talking to his client about my appointment and how clients should call rather than make appointments online, etc. My experience at Ulta Beauty was a very unpleasant one. Definitely not what I expected at all. I found it very unprofessional of Alex to discuss my appointment out loud in the presence of another client, in my presence, or with another hairstylist while I was clearly able to hear the conversation. He was not happy that I was on his schedule and it turns out that neither was I. I was a paying customer. I will never again go to Ulta Beauty for anything. I expected more from Ulta. This was my second visit to this store for beauty services, the first was in 2019 for make up services and that went really well. I will say that Javier was awesome. He was very attentive, professional and did an outstanding job. He even recommended hair products which I purchased at the end of my appointment and I left out of there spending $130, not including his generous tip. As a makeup addict, I love going to Ulta on a regular basis, just to look around and see what's new/trending or to get more of the beauty products I regularly use. Honestly, I can spend all day in this store if I could, but unfortunately, as an adult, I have many responsibilities. About This store, I like that the reps/staff are very attentive and always help me compare and look for the products. However, at times I find it very frustrating that they don't have available the products I'm looking for and a lot of times their shelves and racks are almost empty. First let me tell you that I've been an Ulta customer for over 5 years I had minor issues before with the Salon Stlylists until I met Jay (Jonathan) a great Stylist. He took care of me for more than a year I had long black beautiful hair and because of Jay (Jonathan)I kept going back to Ulta. Last week of November I called for an appointment with him but I was told he had transfer to another location and because it is really far for me I decided to book an appointment with another stylist I let the person on the phone know that I wanted somebody who knew what they were doing because I invest a lot of time, money and care into my hair, the lady on the phone suggested that I book my appointment with the Salon manager "Erika" I said great the manager sounds awesome if she is the manger definitely has to be a professional. Worst decísion ever. I came in Nov 30th 2018 to the salon I met Erika (the salon manager)I told her what I wanted, just to trim the ends I already have the haircut and also Showed her a picture of how my hair should look like she said she would cut my hair once it was dry and colored Erika colored my hair and once it was done she starting cutting it. I felt safe because I thought she was a professional. She finished cutting my hair and started blow drying it. When my sister looked at my new haircut she was shocked and told me let me take a picture so I can see my hair immediately. I knew something was wrong. I asked Erika (the salon manager) are you done? she said yes I just need to cut some ends but once I saw the picture I knew my hair had to be cut much higher because Erika left my hair as a five year old was playing with scissors. My hair look like sound bars. In order to correct the difference length, my hair had to be cut much shorter to make it look even. Before I walked in I had my hair to my waist. All I wanted was a trim of the tips, and I ended up with my hair to my shoulders. I was and still am furious. I was crying when I saw my hair. Once I asked her she said it's ok I just need to cut a little bit more she never recognized she was wrong. Erika (the salon manager )never apologized, I was so upset I told her I didn't want her to touch my hair anymore so another stylist came in and try to fix what the salon manager did to me but it was impossible to fix. I spent 5 hours at Ulta salon and three stylist tried to fix my hair. But it was a lost cause . After One of the stylist did everything he could to fix my hair he recommended me no to cut it more and wait. Other wise he would have to cut a lot more hair. Ericka the salon manager was helping other clients like nothing happened while I was sitting there crying for what she did to me and other stylists try to fix her mistake. The Store manager apologized but No apologies will bring my beautiful long hair back. It's disappointing to go to a place you think you will get the best service. a premium one and things like this happened all I ask is that Ericka (the salon manager) gets suspended until she is train properly to do her job I think is the least one could expect after what she did to me, if she couldn't do a simple trim. I don't know what kind of professionals is Ulta hiring. It Is the company's image I will always regret going to Ulta and letting Ericka (the salon manager) touch my hair. Please be careful. I love this store because it combines everything in a one stop shop. Bare Escentuals - Check Urban Decay - Check Eyebrow, Hair, Nail supplies - Check Neutrogena skin care - Check Giftsets and travel size makeup - Check and I can even pick up my husbands cologne from here. No need to waste time going to 5 different stores. Ulta has everything I need. The only bummer is the Loop parking busy times a year like Christmas time you will spend 20 minutes in line in the parking lot waiting. That is not an exaggeration. Service is super friendly, helpful and armed with samples. read more

Disorder and frustration is what I experience when visiting this store. I had resigned myself to shopping here because its close to where I live. However, my last visit was the end of the road for me and ulta. Butter London is why I come here. Ulta has it in store, Sephora does not. A sale in progress I had to take advantage of, however, only certain shades were included in the promotion and there was no order so I had to review a list and pick up each individual bottle of polish to find out which ones were in the promotion. Very painstaking and ridiculous chore. And after all that the associates didn't even give me the discount (because they were unaware it was happening), so after two associates told me the promotion was for lip gloss and not polish, I had to physically go and retrieve the promotion piece posted in store . . . and then I had to remind them I got a free polish as apart of the deal. Too much work for myself when I come here. Service is hit or miss, but mostly miss. My last visit was a hot mess. Never again. I'll just take advantage of butter promotions on the butter London website from now on. I don't even want to shop on ultas website at this point. read more

Most Ulta stores are stocked with a limited supply of a preferred product and once they are out then you will need to either online or wait for the next shipment they get. That's why this Ulta store #335 is an all time favorite of mine. They always have everything I need here and employees are sweethearts. read more

I'm giving it 4 stars for their services. I get my brows done with Kathy at the Benefit Brow Bar and just recently went for a hair appointment at the salon. I got Jenny and she's amazing! I'm really picky on who works with my hair since there are people out there that are only in it for the money, but she took her time and made my hair look perfect! If you're looking for a brow or hair girl, go for Kathy & Jenny. You won't be disappointed. The store itself could use more employees but I always go directly to the products I need, but I've heard people complain about their customer service. read more

The layout is nice but I had a bad experience with one of the makeup artists. First of all there were no sponges anywhere except for a small drawer. There were no fresh bottles to clean the makeup and overall the place was very unorganized and unprepared. With the makeup artists she decided to use the really cheap sponge to apply foundation on my face. I have very dry skin and thankfully it isn't sensitive but as she was applying the foundation my skin was hurting. That sponge they use is awful for the skin and to be honest I was shocked she didn't use a makeup brush like other places such as Sephora or MAC. Her overall energy was very low almost as if she didn't want to be there. I get it there are times I dread going into work too but I never let my patients know bc I put on a very bright personality in my place of work. She also gave me an attitude when I told her I could apply the makeup myself.... she huffed rolled her eyes and left me without any tools ie a makeup brush or even that cheap sponge. She even gave me attitude when I asked her to take off the first foundation so I can compare the two. I work very hard for my money and if I have to try on 10 foundations then so be it bc at the end I AM SPENDING MY MONEY not them/or her. She made me feel like I was being a complete bother by simply asking to compare two different foundations. Came here while on vacation in search of the toofaced Peanut Butter & Jelly Palette, as well as Benefit's Air Patrol. When I walked in, I was greeted with a "hello" was nice. I assumed this place would have good service... Boy, was I wrong. While looking through the makeup shelves, I asked an employee there (male with dark hair in a man-bun, in his 20's, not sure of the name) if they had the PB&J palette in stock or if it was sold out while he was fiddling with product on the shelves. He did not even give me eye contact or answer me respectfully. He continued what he was doing and answered a fast and sarcastic "nope". I work in customer service, and I know that is no way to treat a customer. Most employees would usually apologize for the inconvenience and help me find a similar product, or check if it was available at another store, let alone make eye contact with me. For the rest of my visit there, I wanted information on products I wanted to purchase, or to ask if there was anymore stock in the back considering the shelves looked pretty empty for some reason. I refused and did not feel comfortable asking that man about anymore products because of the way he treated me. There was no other employee around besides him and the salon employees, which cut my visit short. Planned to spend around $100+ on product here, ended up spending $12 on a shampoo. Because of this employee's attitude, I will NEVER shop here again and I will strongly advise against shopping at this location to as many people I know.
