The products are not cheap, but they do last a very lone time and the staff will work with you on what your skins needs in order to achieve, healthier, better looking skin. You do not have to spend a ton of money. I pay a monthly fee of $100 and I don't use the entire amount on my facials unless I need to buy more products. Most months, I have a credit that will roll over. I've seen Lindsey, when I first started, then Hannah and now I see Journey and they are all wonderful! Ashley at the front desk is awesome as well. My friend told me her and her daughter got $25 facials here and I should give them a try. I was on clinical rotation in Owensboro so I scheduled an appointment during my lunch break. I was thinking I'll have a relaxing experience, and can just grab a healthy smoothie for lunch. The building inside and out is aesthetically pleasing and the staff were very welcoming upon my arrival. I had my scrubs on since I was on lunch so the staff chatted up about she was a Registered Nurse and how she thought about going back to school. We spent a lot of time talking about her ambitions and then she says, I'm going to give you a derma-plane. Honestly, I did not know what this was and she did not explain. I did ask, is that part of the facial?, while she gathered her things then turned and says, yes. She literally SHAVED my face. For those out there that also do not know, it's a small sideways razor that is to shave the "peach fuzz" off the face. I was kinda freakin out. But I thought, just go with this and relax. When she got done, she asked if I had allergies. I told her most products cause problems so I only use coconut oil as a moisturizer. She says well you'll like this. She puts a lotion on my face. I know it was lotion based because I could instantly feel my pores close as she applied. She did not apply it in a massage kind of way. She slaps it on like she was afraid to touch my skin which is acne free, no blemishes so why do it like that? Then asks me to walk me to walk with her over to this wall to "buy some" of this stuff while I notice my face to start stinging. I told her I was not sure how this lotion will work, so I might purchase at a later time. She then walks me over to the cashier that charges me $85. I asked, for a shaved face and a lotion? She says, yes. I reluctantly paid and left. I got back to clinical and was talking to the staff. We looked up the pricing on the website. I was really confused since the costs was not adding up. So I called the place back and asked how much is a facial? She says it depends on what you get done. I told her about my friend telling me about the $25 facials. She says no. She said the derma-planing is $35. I was like okay but I was charged $85. She said I was charged $50 for the consult. I did not get a consult. We talked about what she wanted to do in her life and she asked me to buy a lotion that was stinging my face. You know, they got $85 out of me. And I will never return. My daughter will never go. My recommendation to anyone asking will be not want to go. We need a place that gives $25 facials. I would go to a place with actual relaxing, massaging, 20 minute, $25 facials every time I came to Owensboro. But that is NOT what we have here.

I went to see Taren over 2 weeks ago and was hoping for the same results I have gotten other places. I was left with a left hooded eye and caveman looking ledged front so if that is what you are trying to achieve then see her . If not go see someone one else. I reached out to you early this past Monday and you replied back one time then nothing all way up to Wednesday when I scheduled with someone else after walking around looking angry . Good business would have been to reach out to me immediately . Snow did not prevent you from doing that . You can come back at me with stating irrelevant tasteless claims and that shows your ethics. I have taken the time to report you to the Ky licensing board . Do I think people make mistakes ? Yes , I do but your handling of having others come review your business to get back to 5 stars is totally unethical. I was a paying client and you treated me like oh I will get to her WHEN I CAN. Keep coming at me, I have pictures that show how you left me and will posting those everywhere ... The worst part is getting your friends to review for you when you made a mistake. In good faith, I really would NOT recommend this dermatology practice. For some reason, (I will…read morenot speculate) they schedule far too many patients per day for the practitioners to do a thorough, competent and complete exam. After waiting over 90 minutes, I had a 2-3 minute exam for skin cancer. The Dr. did not wear magnification glasses, check my face up close, have me stand or check the back of my legs or sides. I found a mole on my side the next morning that he missed. He rushed and treated a few spots in seconds with liquid nitrogen which hurt like the devil and blistered up which has never happened to me before. I will not be returning- this practice is NOT for me. I want to be valued as a patient and a human being not a number.
