I only book appointment on my in office days because I KNOW I'm going to leave looking amazing and I'm not wasting all her work on just going home! Melody is so friendly and kind. She takes the time to really look at me, my hair, my maintenance abilities, my beauty goals, my inspiration photos, and takes the time to actually give me what I want and need. She'll tell me if what I'm asking for is going to be higher maintenance than I've told her I prefer or if the cuts in the inspiration photos will hit me in an unflattering way and makes suggestions on how to adapt them for ME. She also takes the time to educate me on how to properly take care of my hair. She recommends products AND takes the time to show me how to use them! She recommends the best product for me, even if I can't get it in the salon. She makes sure that I don't only feel beautiful the day of the appointment and that I can maintain her amazing work well after I leave. I admit, I still tear up after haircuts, but it's because I feel beautiful, empowered, and seen. When this woman retires, I may start looking into wigs. I need more stars.

The haircut was actually very nice and my hair stylist (Savannah) was very kind and clearly had skill. However, the owner/manager was constantly yelling at the receptionist (her daughter).. creating a really weird atmosphere and tense situation for customers. A man came in to check how long the wait would be and the owner started making fun of him very loudly as soon as he left. She constantly was leaving her customer and talking to other employees/ yelling at her daughter.. overall, I was just very happy that I did not get her.
