It's not even the layers are not blended in and when I tried to tell her that what she was doing was not right she told me she's been cutting hair for 27 years and that's how everyone cuts hair. Well I'm the one who has to walk around with this mess and try to find someone to fix my hair now. My long hair will have to be short because of this lady. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am deeply disturbed by what I personally witnessed from the owner of Studio 809, Whitney Bowlds…read more She mocked and verbally attacked an 11-year-old disabled child -- making cruel and demeaning comments about her appearance and even telling her to harm herself. I have documentation of this incident, and it was absolutely heartbreaking to witness. This behavior is inexcusable and goes against basic human decency. No child -- or anyone -- should ever be treated this way, especially by someone who owns a business that serves the public. Salons should make people feel safe, seen, and valued. This experience showed me the opposite. I will never support this business and encourage others who value kindness, empathy, and professionalism to take their business elsewhere. Owensboro deserves better.
