Recomend for teens yes but looking for serious adult skincare cosmetics DO NOT ENTER Some uneducated unlicensed sales person will reccomend products to you based on what brands they need to increase sales as per demands by that company to promote their brand. This location has delivered the worst customer service I have experienced, and I will not be returning. My visit on Black Friday was deeply frustrating from start to finish. This store displayed a 30% off sign on the Redken shampoo and conditioner rack. After waiting in line to purchase the items, the checkout associate, Adisyn, informed me they were not on sale. She and the front-of-house manager sent another associate to verify the signage. After examining the sign, the associate decided that the small print did not apply to the shampoo and conditioner. When I asked which products on the rack were included in the promotion, none of the associates could identify a single qualifying item, nor could they explain what the fine print referred to. I had already been charged full price and, after standing in line for nearly 30 minutes, I simply wanted to leave. Unfortunately, the situation got worse. Adisyn and her manager failed to return my shampoo to my bag after the price check. I drove 30 minutes home only to discover that my purchase was missing. When I called the store, I was told they would need to review the security footage--as if I were lying. I was placed on hold while the location manager, Jeremy, was contacted. He later called back to confirm that the staff had indeed forgotten to put the product back in my bag. His response was a simple "sorry," and he offered no resolution or compensation for the inconvenience. I then had to drive all the way back to the store to retrieve my item. The associates showed no concern for the poor experience I had, and at that point my only option was to return the product and share this review. There are plenty of reputable beauty establishments, and I hope this review helps others avoid the frustration I went through. Perhaps one day this location will prioritize hiring and training staff who value customer experience and take ownership of their mistakes. read more

Oh my gosh, Agnes is amazing! I walked in there wanting a full highlight, I had highlights once before there and it went well but I thought it was just going to be a very slow process. Agnes brought me to an AMAZING level of blonde. She took her time with me, doing every foil and even saying late to take care of me and make sure it looked perfect. Since writing this review, the management has tried to reach out to me. I spoke with them this morning, and they did seem remorseful about the mistake. Since I have found another place to cut my hair, I can not comment on the service of an actual haircut but only on my interactions on this appt for the salon. My interactions with staff on buying makeup and other items have always been pleasant there. I would caution until this glitch is worked through if you book online, call and confirm. I had the original text and a confirmation text, but those are automated and do not mean the store or stylist is aware of you coming. read more

Ulta has been in PCB for at least five years now and I'm so happy they are. I have been coming to Pcb Ulta for at least four of this five years. First they were in the main pier park next to Target but in 2017 they opened across the street in Pier Park North. This new location gave them more square footage for the salon and products (makeup,perfume, styling tools,nail polish). I actually really like the Ilta branded products. Make sure you save your receipt. If you buy something and don't like it, within 30 days you can return it with receipt...even if you used it! I come here to get my hair done by Natasha and I love all the staff and appreciate this location for my weekend hair fix when in town. Thy use Redken hair products and offer coffee and water to patrons. They also sell the brands you can get anywhere like Revlon, NYC etc. that's one of the differences between Ulta and Sephora, also, Sephora has no salon. Make sure you sign up for the Ulta rewards, it's free and every purchase gives you Ulta bucks. After a year of my hair appts and various purchases I save up about $200! Fee money to spend in store. To me that's a win since I'm coming to spend money at the salon anyways. read more

The very worst experience ever in the hair salon. As a visitor to the area I went in to have my grey roots colored and brought along the formula my stylist uses at home (Aveda Salon). I booked online and wound up with a very young girl who obviously didn't know what she was doing. My color is warm brown and I wound up totally BLACK!!!. It will take several hundreds of dollars to correct this mess. Lesson learned: if I can't find an Aveda Salon, either find something comparable or skip it, but don't go to Ulta. read more

I made an appointment for my daughter to get her hair cut. Got a confirmation email, and two reminder texts prior to her appointment. When we get there I get told there wasn't an appointment and I was the second person that had happened to today but there was nothing she could do about it because she was getting ready to leave. Picture it. Two weeks before Christmas everybody's out, hustling and bustling trying to find a gift. Walk in, was greeted by the cashier, that was nice. Head over with a lost look on my face to the fragrance section. I know what I want, don't know where to find it. While there's plenty of employees, walking and talking to each other and merchandising. None of them even in that area makes eye contact to ask if I need any sort of assistance. do I need assistance? I love Ulta , plenty of staff around to offer help customers. This Ulta location does not have a MAC counter or products. All products on display were available were stocked up so I didn't have a problem getting what I needed. The bathroom was clean and has a baby changing table. read more

I had such a great experience at the salon at Ulta! Everything is extremely straight forward there. You choose exactly what you want done to your hair and you can even see hair swatches of what the different colors are that they offer. I felt that in comparison to other salons I've been to, everything was laid out clearly so I knew exactly what I was paying for. I had a "master stylist" Kelcie do my hair. She is a mid-tier stylist in their three levels and she did excellent. I'm so picky about how my hair looks and who does it so I was nervous to go to what seemed like a cheaper place than a fancy salon. However, Ulta really did a great job and I plan on going back. When in for a bang trim, I know they closed in 20min but you have 20min before you close and got turned away. Didn't even ask me what I would like to have done. Bands only take about 5min to trim WOW. You would have got a 20 tip for just my bangs now you get nothing and I will never recommend. read more

I wish I could give Ulta MINUS 5 stars. I ordered over $200.00 worth of product not available in their store on 1/26/21. It was supposed to be shipped via UPS. They shipped it UPS to my local post office for delivery. I contacted them immediately after checking on delivery status the day of delivery. I was home all day on the day Ulta stated it would be delivered. I contacted Ulta less than an hour after the tracking information stated it had been delivered on 2/3/21 at 2:39pm and left at front my door. I advised them that it was not delivered. I checked with every neighbor with two blocks of me. I also advised that I had USPS Notify. I receive daily emails advising of all my mail and packages being delivered each day. My order from Ulta was never listed on any email. I advised the USPS required Ulta to file the claim for the missing order. I was told I had to wait 3 business days regardless by two Ulta Reps! The second Ulta rep, stated after waiting the 3 business days, they would reship the package. I again was delayed. I emailed Ulta to be told it was delivered on 2/3/21 @2:39 pm and they would not replace my order or file a claim! Every time I replied to the email, I got the same auto response. Ulta never addressed my actual replies. DO NOT ORDER FROM ULTA ONLINE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. You will get screwed out of money!!! I will never stop at Ulta online or in store again. They are scammers! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I THIS IS A COMMON PRACTICE FOR ULTA. THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE HAS SEVERAL OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS FROM OTHERS AS RECENT AS YESTERDAY!! I got my hair cut here and loved it so when it came to dyeing it I came back. I wanted the lady who cut my hair before but was told she was full with appointments so I asked for the best person at dyeing hair to which the lady said "oh that would be me". So i booked an appointment with her and she didn't even come close to the color I asked for and the color that was in there faded leaving me with a very yellowy blonde. And when I handed her my phone to show her an offer I had, she made fun of my cracked screen loud enough that other guests heard and she did this more than once. Don't bother going to this location! They don't care about their customers at all. This was not the first time I or someone in my family has had a bad experience here, but this was the final straw for me to write about it. So went there looking for a bare minerals concealer I ran out of. There were plenty of workers standing around in the front of the store and a few by the bare minerals section helping customers. One lady was trying to figure out her own make up and was trying on a ton of different foundations. She needed help but no one was helping her. She also was the only black woman in the store I would hope that wouldnt have anything to do with it but it was odd. Then there was me. I was talking to my fiance and saying how I couldnt find the concealer. The employee helping the woman next to me was done with that customer and so I went to ask her for help. She turned her back and walked quickly to the back of the store. Um...excuse me? You could see I needed help. You looked right at me as I went to talk to you. RUDE! I walked to the front grabbed and employee who was standing around and asked them to help me. She did. I went to the register to complain to a manager who was blonde and never introduced herself to me. I explained the issues with customer service. Her response was " oh well I am sure she didn't do it on purpose. We have a lot going on with getting set up for black Friday. " um how is that a valid excuse?!? She didn't care at all about my issues or the stores issues. I wont be back and I live right around the corner! I only hope corporate sees this! Don't go here this store deserves to fail if they don't care about their customers. Train your employees better or hire better people.
